The Retroprogression

Ancient magic flows through the world of Kuztec like blood runs through veins, or water runs through the roots of a large, strong oak tree. From this magic there sprouted people; people capable of wielding this innate power as easily as one breathes. Their hearts beat in rhythm with the heart and soul of Kuztec, in-tune to the realm that has forever been theirs.

Or so it seems.

Unbeknownst to the people of this world is an older power; a power both thousands of years older than themselves and thousands of years more advanced than they could ever be. Below the surface; yes, right under their very feet- there it lies, dormant for what has seemed like eons. But within a few days, there will come an unruly boy...an unruly boy and a single group of people. Within a few days this power will rise.....And Kuztec will be shaken to its roots.

I see, and I assume all of our characters have to be of the same tribe. Which brings me to my next question of how organized is said tribe? Do we just have a leader, a witch doctor, and everyone else are basically peons, or is there some sort of hierarchy? .-.

I'm assuming that there are archers as well. ;P How advanced have we gotten in that area?

Inky will have to answer Kuori's question, but in terms of archery, it would be like way back in the day hunting bows and such. Bows made from wood and the like. At the beginning anyway.

Are we in the jungle or something like that? Or somewhere out in the plains? That would be the big deciding factor in what kinda bows we're talking about here.

Women. Yes women. Small, fragile, useless except for cooking and sex women (that was exaggerated). Gender roles of earlier ages apply here, and such, women rank rather low; the only person who really thinks of women as equals is Musi, and it gives him a bad rep among other things.


It isn't a rainforest, but it is a dense forest. Kinda like this.
