Rock or Rap?

Well... I coulden't decide to put this in music or polls so I put it here...

So, Rap or Rock? Personally, I think Rock takes the cake hands-down.

I normally hate rap so I'm voting for rock. What do I hate about rap? Generally, it's the lyrics xD

Rock cause I can't rap.

Anyone with any sense will realize that rap is not music, whereas rock is. People tend to go with things that sound good.

But that's the thing, rap isn't music, no matter what you believe. If you want to listen to the definition of music, listen to one of the songs by Beethoven, Mozart, Howard Shore, or even John Williams. I'm serious, that is sincerely the definition of music without words.

Definitely Rock. I mean really?! Poems are nice and all, but singing actually needs a tune not just a beat.

The lyrics are of a higher standard and it stretches out into so many sub-categories that it has a heck of a lot more variety than rhyming to a basic beat.
Plus Rock has the instrumental solos. Some are truly artistic. x3

Rock! Cuz it has electric guitars....and that's really it. Rap rhymes too much for me to like it for the most part.

And judging by how most girls react to rap music, they don't mind that fact. I've been to several countries and states, and girls love even the rap music that degrades them. >,>

Personally I like neither, but I digress.

I prefer hearing rock over rap, but I don't like listening to either, so there.
