*There's a staircase in the Training Room (14) that leads to the Basement where the dormitories and armory are.
*Teleportation Room (16) is how characters reach the arena which is separated from the main building.
*The Basement floor and 2nd level (reached by the Staircase of Transcendence) are off limits save for the dorms and armory on the Basement floor.

The Story So Far...

-The Manatorium appears welcoming warriors from all over the multiverse to do battle.  Run by the mysterious Game Master, warriors are free to give it their all in an arena where the rules of life and death do not apply.  How did this place come to be?  Well, who's asking?!  There's fun to be had!

~ C H A R A C T E R S ~

The Game Master

A mysterious man who runs the Manatorium.  As busy as he is, he's typically available for audiences and tries to make plenty of time for his contestants.  Aside from that, he's a fairly nice individual and not much is known about him.  The purpose behind why he created the Manatorium or how he gained access to the Expanse remains unknown.

Wallace Night

Demonologist by profession, Wallace is a young man that has traveled countless worlds and dimensions in search of demons in an attempt to sway them to his side, earning their respect by besting them in one-on-one combat.  With his legion, he aims to strike balance in all worlds acting as a diplomat and ambassador of the universe, easing tensions and solving problems both of a demonic nature and not wherever he goes.  Hearing about the special rifts that have been appearing lately, Wallace begins an investigation, eventually chancing upon one of the rifts himself and entering it.  He is introduced to the Manatorium where he now continues to search for answers regarding this mysterious structure in the Expanse.

Serene Lily

A hunter by nature, Lily resides in the forested regions of her homeland. As time went on, she found an old ruin in her forest and, upon exploring it, met and eventually befriended a ghost. With her new friend, she traveled around the world and experienced many great things, both joy and woe. But once the time came to return to her home, Lily came back to a very sick, cursed forest. For a year, she worked to restore her forest, the decline of which she could never determine. She was watching the forest carefully, but she found a strange rift, a portal to another strange world. Both curious and dedicated to the safety of her home, she explored the area beyond her forest once again to find the Manatorium. She still worries about her home, despite her bubbly personality.

Luca di Angelo Graves

World renowned explorer and infamous Queen of the Pirates, Luca has gazed upon every inch of her home-world and yearns to see that which is unknown to her. Naturally, her sights were set on the closest unknown: The Moirai. She spent months gathering the finest mana crystals and mages, finding a crew of willing warriors, and charting a preliminary map of the heavens from what little information she could find within ancient tomes. When the time finally came to put her mission into action, however, disaster struck. She successfully transported her ship into the fabled Sea of Stars, but the Guardian of the Gods, a dragon known as Scather, assaulted them immediately with the intent of destroying the intruders. Her crew might have lost their heads from the sudden chaos, but Luca remained calm as ever, willingly sacrificing her most recent voyage to pacify the beast. Whereas it seems one door has just closed, another one awaits in the distance; Luca's next venture to be found in the mysterious reaches of the Expanse.

Sir Darragh Loxley

Hailing from the land of Ethernia, Darragh was once a soldier stationed in the province of Glaythia, but rebelled aginst the King's orders as he found the war and the acts committed in its name far too heinous. Once he joined up with an unusual girl and a huge tiger, they ended up leading their own rebellion and getting to the source of the world's real problem - the Goddess' nightmares. After sailing to the Sea of Stars and returning his friend to his rightful place, and defeating the dragon known as Scather, he and his friends put everything right again, once more returning the land to relative peace. These days, the knight finds himself wandering the paths of Ethernia, a smiling protector to any who would have need of his aid, which is how he found himself contemplating what was obviously a portal to another dimension. Deciding it was worth investigating (and the adventure that might ensue), Darragh stepped through with an eager stride and easy grin into the Manatorium.
