How the mighty have fallen...

Let me begin by saying this fight was triggered by an event that occured two years ago. This event was somewhat life-changing. However, it's been two years. I will not discuss this event for it is personal. Now then...

One day, I was feeling rather moody. My friend wanted to know what's up. For story-telling purposes, I shall name her "Sodia". Sodia kept nagging me until I finally told her, "Oh... I've been thinking about something lately. It's no big deal." She demanded to know what was going on.

"You know that thing you hate? That incident? It was on my mind for, like, a second," I tell Sodia.

Sodia starts firing rapid IMs about how I should "get over it" and how she keeps telling me that it's stupid and pointless. I laugh at her pitiful attempts at consoling me and sign off on her.

The next day, all is well until the evening. I get a chatroom invitation on MSN. My auto-accept pulls me in. I recognize the screen names. One is Sodia and the other two are mutual acquaintances of ours. I thought it was going to be a little catching-up party. Instead, Girl #1 starts lambasting me about my personal incident. I am absolutely appalled that Sodia went behind my back and TOLD HER ABOUT MY DAMN ISSUES that are over a year old! I don't listen to Girl #1's bullshit and immediately x-out and sign off.

The next day, I get an e-mail from Sodia. She wrote something like: "Oh, it's been so long! I thought you'd like this!" Enclosed is a link. It is a link to an MSN application. Said application shows one every screen name that has blocked you on MSN. What a bitch move.

Suffice to say, we haven't spoken in a month. I care not for her and her trivial games. Not once did I try to instigate this llama-drama and well fracking good riddance to her!

I don't know, maybe you could've tried telling her that it wasn't bothering you, it just crossed your mind. But you're right, she shouldn't have went and told that other person something personal from your past without at least asking you in the first place. She probably she was trying to help you, but in the end did more damage I guess.
