MASH!/Soulmate

Virtual MASH isn't as fun, but hey--Why not? I still have to teach Aura-tan how to play.

And perhaps you guys haven't heard of its distant cousin, Soulmate (I like this one more.)

I've heard of it but never played, how do you play?

Yeah. Some rules couldn't hurt. ^ ^;

MASH (Rules):

1) Write down the following categories*
- Names (Male/Female/Both depending on your preference.)
- Cars
- Tux/Dress
- Salary
- Children
And then in a separate category
Mansion Apartment Shack House

2) Fill the standard categories with 4-5 choices each.
Under Names, you would write "crushes, friends, one horrid choice"
Under Cars, you would list brands like Mercedes or BMW and maybe Donkey or Horse, a gag choice.
Under Tux/Dress, you would choose colors (of your future wedding clothes!)
Under Salary, you would write numbers (ranging from 1 cent to millions)
Under Children, you would write numbers (go wild...?)

3) For a virtual version, I'd count off my fingers until someone said STOP. Say I raised three fingers. 3 would be my cross-off number.

Example time (normally you'd have all the catergories down, but I'll keep this short):

Names
- George
- Carl
- Tidus
- Soren

Dress
- Red
- White
- Black
- Green

This is the list, yes? For the first round, you count off 3 and cross that off like so:

Names
- George
- Carl
- Tidus
- Soren

Dress
- Red
- White
- Black
- Green

Counting from Soren, you would cross off White.

Names
- George
- Carl
- Tidus
- Soren

Dress
- Red
- White
- Black
- Green

Continue to go through the entire list like this until you've only one option left in every catergory.

Names
- George
- Carl
- Tidus
- Soren

Dress
- Red
- White
- Black
- Green

Thus you'll marry a man named Soren and you'll wear a green wedding dress! Simple enough?

*You can cut out or add categories (Like Pets and Honeymoon Spots for example.)

Soulmate (Rules):

In Soulmate, you are supposed to choose 10 people you'd like to date.

The organizer of the game will put those names down randomly like this:

1) Guy 3
2) Guy 4
3) Guy 1
4) Guy 5
5) Guy 7
6) Guy 2
7) Guy 8
8) Guy 9
9) Guy 10
10) Guy 6

With the chart set up, the organizer then asks a series of ten questions that go like:

Who do you want to kiss?
(Then you would say a number.) 6.

Who would you *censor*?
1.

Who would you hug?
10.

Who would you hold hands with?
3.

After all the numbers have been called out, you go down the list. Suppose you said you would go skinny-dipping with number 2.

The organizer then asks:

Would you go skinny-dipping with Guy 4?

You may answer either "yes" or "no".

Count how many "yes"s the person says.

If you wind up with say... 4 yes(s), then the person's Soulmate is #4 or Guy 5.
