@Zeri: I don't have problems with Tomoya and Sakagami, but after watching After Story, it's hard to picture Tomoya with anyone other than Nagisa. That's why Clannad is so great.

I never thought an anime based off of the possibility that a "2012" sized earthquake will strike Japan within 30 years would be any good, but this is actually really sad and interesting.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Episode 3.

Now, before anyone goes "Holy shit, Durn is watching a "Magical Girl" anime!", I would like to take the time to explain why I'm watching said "Magical Girl" anime.

1.) Never before have I seen a "Magical Girl" anime created by SHAFT Studios (SHAFT is the producer of Bakemonogatari and a couple of other shows with crazy art styles), ever. Although the characters' faces are abnormally boxy and puffy, the backgrounds make me go all =D like and stuff.

3.) Now, the first episode left me with a typical "this seems like it's going to be cliche" feel, and it really didn't add much new to, well, anything really. The second episode was better, but I still wasn't sold. Episode 3, on the other hand, was the biggest slap in the face I've ever seen to a magical girl anime ever. The reasoning on why will be placed in spoilers.

FMA: Brotherhood Episode 9 (English Dubbed)

Brotherhood is extremely different from the original FMA anime.

Hughes died three episodes ago, instead of at 24.

Amazing anime, one of the only ones where I prefer the English version too.
