Unforgivable Sin

“Yay! Another friend!” Janie shouted.
Then she went around and looked at a few of the gravestones, stopping at the gravestone with her name on it. She didn’t need to think much to figure out why her name was here, something supernatural was certainly at work. But when she heard Serenity ask her if they should go back to town, she shook her head.
“We’re not done yet...we still have to give the scythe and camera to to old man...” Janie replied.

When the group returned to the old man’s cabin, he was sitting in the same place as last time as if waiting for the group to come back. He smiled taking the scythe and camera then setting them on the table. He took a glance at Naomi but his expression didn’t change at all despite the fact that the old man seemed to know that she was a demon.
“Well, I didn’t expect you to come back so soon...most people would’ve been freaked out and ran away...” the old man said, “But nevertheless, I have one more task for you...go to my pumpkin field and make sure that everything except my pumpkins are dead...”

And so the group had to get rid of an “infestation”. But when they arrived at the field, all they saw were pumpkins, and nothing more. And the group couldn’t see anything alive other than themselves. But Janie, being the curious little girl she was, ran into the field and poked one of the pumpkins. As soon as she did that, the pumpkin broke into pieces and a much, much larger pumpkin rose out of the ground. It was about as tall as an average adult and had one eye with a tiny pupil, the contrast making its stare extremely intense. The pumpkin creature pulled itself up with vines coming out of its sides. It wasn’t long before two more of these creatures rose from the ground uttering a deep sickening roar, sending Janie running back to the group in fear of being eaten.

Ashe grabbed her blade and looked back to Anastasia, a caring expression gracing her face. She didn't want the poor girl to be scared, she could get hurt.

"Don't worry Anastasia, we won't let them hurt you. I'll kill anyone of them that does."

It wasn't a very promising, but she would try to hold true to it. She didn't want her teammates thinking she couldn't keep her promises.
