The Roleplaying Community Opinion Empty The Roleplaying Community Opinion

Post by Cerani Sun Apr 18, 2010 8:47 pm

Hello folks! Welcome to the place where everyone can come to talk about their thoughts and opinions on all the roleplays here on Eternal Dream. I know everyone has them, they just don't always say them, either because they're a bit too tactful to say anything about it or they never thought about saying it. Doesn't mean that they're all necessarily bad, but no one ever really discusses each others roleplays too often without getting hurt in some way or another. Well, not here. This will simply be a place for roleplayers and GM's alike to come and chat about it all.

Every week, I will have a different topic of some kind, where we can all vote for a specific roleplay in some way or another.

I don't want any openly degrading remarks, absolutely no flame wars, and please. I know how hard this is, but try to keep a semblance of on-topicness. This thread is under a broad topic, so there could end up being many side discussions, and I will not always be here to keep things in check, so please take it upon yourselves to keep things in hand.

Okay, got it? Good! Now let's have fun!

This week's topic: The Roleplay with the most thought out Storyline

In my own opinion, and from experience, I would have to say any of Masq's Tales of Alidaire series. He has entire notebooks full of stuff for all of them. I haven't exactly seen what's in them, but I know they're there. *sagenod*

Though I have not seen said notebook, I have to agree. Just the fact that he has so many of them (active too) says a lot about it.

Really? Wow, that's dedication. But I certainly did imagine he would have, at least, paper sheets with Tales of Alidaire content in it.

Argh! Epic fail for myself. I really was going to keep up with this. ^.^; But believe me! It will start again!!

For the rest of this week and next week,

This week's topic: The Most Unknown Roleplay(s) of Eternal Dream

They are the roleplays no one remembers, were posted but never played in, started but puttered out too soon. Honestly we have many to choose from, but which one is The Most Unknown?

Honestly, I forgot about this but, at the same time, don't want it to die or anything. I choose

Wow, almost two weeks. ^.^;;; At least a few people put up a few opinions, yeah?

Should I let this continue on into Sunday, or update it now with a new topic?

Haha, right then.

So, the Most Unknown Roleplay of Eternal Dream is *drumroll* . . .

The Excalion Project: Shred of Light! Congratulations!

I'll be honest, I'm not sure that's a congratz that anyone would really want. XD Ah, but time for this week's topic, and probably the rest of this month's.

This Week's Topic: The Roleplay with the Most Ridiculous Battles

This could go either way depending on your interpretation, whether it's the most ridiculously hard or the most downright crazily and ridiculously funny. For myself, I choose the most ridiculously hard. Thus far, I'd have to say Tales of Alidaire: The Corruption. Albere. That is all that needs to be said.

The ridiculously hard one, Windy agrees with Cerani-sama...and ridicuoulsly easy battle, the Xue Langya battle in Unforgivable Sin: Seven Sinners...the group two-turned Xue Langya without using their Finishings...and Windy can't decide the strangest one...ara...~

Pfft, I forgot about that one. Tried to block it out of my memory, probably.

The ridiculous part was the whole status evasion. Too bad she died, though.

Heart of the World is still going? XD I wasn't aware of this.

I cede the point Durn, I was about to say that I'd changed my mind in agreement anyway, but it seems I was beaten to the chase.

SO! There are three official categories now!

The Hardest
The Most Ridiculous
The Funniest

Choose wisely. *sagenod*
