The Monsters' Academy

At Yokai Academy everything looks normal...somewhat. Other than the dead trees around campus, a swamp in a deeper parts of the dead forest, and a cliff overlooking what seems like a sea of blood, everything looks normal. The students, although a bit strangely behaved, seem nothing out of the ordinary and the school, dorms, and other faculty buildings are also very normal. But in truth the students are all monsters, disguised as humans. And of course, in a school of monsters something intresting is bound to happen...

The bus rolled to a stop by Monster Academies sign. Leon eagerly rushed from his seat to the front door. His bus was on of the emptier ones, with few yokai heading to the academy from his area. Despite his haste, he ended up being the last one to leave. Grinning widely, the boy descended the steps. As he did, the bus driver grabbed his shoulder. His eyes, glowing in the shade of his cap, make Leon shiver as always. "You want something Bus driver-san?"

"No, no, Kitten," he grinned, he knew Leon hated the nickname, lighting a cigarette. "Just enjoy your time here. Strange and interesting things always happen."

Leon rolled his eyes. As if he didn't know that. What would you expect at a school full of monsters? He grinned anyway and waved goodbye before joining the throng of students (some poorly disguised) in their exodus to the main building. Monster Academy was open yet again. Who knew what this year would bring.

As Leon got off the bus, a fox with brown fur ran off the bus right after him. The fox appeared to be female and followed the boy, no matter where he went. OF course, the fox was Haku, just starting her first year at Yokai Academy and already found someone she saw as a potential friend. She decided to stalk follow him and see how he reacts.

A shiver ran up Leon's spine. His cat ears popped up under his hat (which he wore just in case that happened) and twitched. Swallowing nervously, Leon kept walking. He still had the feeling that he was being watched. He wondered who it was. Probably a new student, like himself. If it was Kurokiba, he would... A feeling of dread washed over him like a suffocating wave. A sinister form stepped out of the shadows.

"Hi there !" his cousin grinned. "And how is my favorite cousin doing on his first day?"

"Just keep walking, keep walking," Leon muttered to himself. Kurokiba's hand clamped around his head and heaved him of the ground. Leon paled at the evil grin on Kurokiba's face.

"Now that wasn't nice ! Greet you're Oni-san!"
"Cousin..."

"Oni-san," he said firmly with a dark atmosphere. "By the way, you have a stalker." He gestured at the bushes and two ghost drifted out, carrying a fox. "Is this your friend?"

Suddenly, a bird came out of the sky, at great speeds. As it neared Haku, it slowed down and landed right next to Haku. It then changed shape into a man. "Hello there, Haku. How are you on this fine day?" He walked alongside her untill he noticed she was following someone. "Why don't you just say something? You don't have to stalk everyone..."

"Kyaa!" Haku screamed when she transformed back to her humanoid form and grabbed by ghosts.

When she was carried out of the bushes she was hiding in, Haku instantly hid her fox tails and ears before anyone could catch a glimpse of them. She wiggled out of the ghosts' grip and sat down on the ground, smiling nervously.

"Heh heh, sorry about that." Haku said, "My name is Tenshi Haku. What's yours?"

When a bird landed next to her, Haku knew who it was almost instantly, her friend Zazi. She didn't expect Zazi to be attending this academy though. She thought that Zazi would be in a human high school, but he's here now and she was nevertheless, happy to see her friend.

"Hi Zazi, you've you been?" Haku asked then whispered to her friend, "Well I wouldn't know what to say, he's cute and I'd probably just make a fool out of myself."

"Heeee," Leon whimpered from beside Kiba. The idiot just had to bring out ghost. Sheesh. He sobered up as soon as they faded away. "Hey Kuro, don't pester the new students. Me included."

"How could you say that?" Kurokiba said. "I only want to meet them!" he quickly reached out and grabbed Haku's chin, twisting her face to examine it. He grinned. "You're very cute!" he looked over at Leon and gave him a thumbs up. "I approve!"

"What are you talking about," Leon scowled, slapping the offending thumb away. He helped Haku to her feet and picked some leaves from her hair. she smells nice he thought to himself. Out loud, he said "ignore the fool."

"Is that anyway to speak ti your seniors?" Kurokiba frowned. He introduced himself to the girl. "I am Kagezaki Kurokiba , 3rd year student. You can call me Kiba-onii-san or Kuro-onii-san! Even Kiba-kun! This is my little cousin; Kitten." Kiba finished, using Leon as a hand rest

"Buzz off," Leon complain, pushing Kiba away. "I'm Leon. Haineko Leon."

Haku stood up with Leon's help, a very faint blush on her face. She fixed her hair and used the black ribbons she had to tie her hair into twin tails, curtsying and flashing a bright smile. She immediatly launched herself at Leon and hugged him.

"Nice to meet you Haineko-san. My best regards for the upcoming school year." Haku said happily with her arms still wrapped around Leon.

Zazi's eyes curved downwards and he twisted around behind Kiba. His fingers curved into hooks as he grew to the other boy's size. "Exuse me, sir. But I would appreciate it if you didnt treat my freind so... Rudely." He was being very polit, not showing he was ready to tear the skin off the man!s arm. "Be careful, or she'll... Light you up in a very bad way."

Haku shot a glare at Kurokiba, he was a very rude person that she didn't like very much. And people she didn't like generally tends to anger her quite easily, and when she's angerd something or sometone's gonna burn. But luckily Zazi took care of telling the third-year to be nicer. She was glad that she didn't have to light anyone or anything on fire so soon.

"Zazi, we're supposed to keep quiet of our true forms and powers." Haku whispered to her friend.

Haku's sudden show of affection caught Leon off guard. He blushed slightly and a small trickle of blood dripped form his nostril (which he hastily wiped away) as a particularly yielding body part pressed against him.

"My my," Kiba smiled, enjoying Leon's discomfort. "Was I rude?" "Yes," Leon interjected. Kiba shut him up with another ghost. "For give me if I was. But I don't take kindly to people stalking my pet plaything cousin who is like a brother to me."

"He just said pet plaything, didn't he?" Leon frowned.

"But we cannot have you three first years late on your first day, now can we?" he easily slipped out of the shade's grip. "And it would be wise to refrain from such blatant displays of your abilities. Both offenses could lead to trouble with the student police. Bye now !" He smiled before walking off and joining some friends, the small crowd that gathered parting before him.

Leon sighed. Kiba managed to ruin his day in less than ten minutes. But, he thought as he inhaled the sweet scent of Haku's hair, maybe it wasn't all bad.

Zazi frowned, angered by this arrogant display that Kiba gave off. "Hmmm... Atleast he's gone now..." He quickly turned back to Haku and what he saw made him start laughting. "Well, atleast ypu two will keep people off my back..." He slowly returned to his just human form, grining. "We really should get going c'mon you two..." He beckoned toward the school and mumbled in Haku's direction. "You work fast..."

Haku shot another glare at Kurokiba, but he had a point. They shouldn't be late to initiation, especially since they'd probably be lost if they missed it. She giggled slightly when she picked up the scent of blood, it was from Leon's nose. It was probably because of her hug. She scowled at Zazi and smacked him upside the head for the comment he made.

"Shut up Zazi or you'll end up in the Infirmary." Haku replied then turned to Leon, "Haineko-san, let's go!"

Grabbing Leon's hand and practically dragging him toward the school building, Haku ran with a bright smile on her face.

After stumbling a bit, Leon ran with the girl. She was cute, innocent and cute. But what did she mean by sending him to the infirmary? Leon wondered if he had gotten himself tied up with a strange group of people. He hoped not, Kibaka was enough trouble. The bus driver's prediction was more accurate that he first though. He held on his cap with his free hand and Idly wondered what the true forms of the other two were.

"So easily aggrivated... Why I still hang around her Ill never figure out..." Zazi sighed and followed them into the building. "Lets hope I find some other freinds.. Otherwise Haku's going to make me kill someone..." He cracked his neck and looked around the inside of the building.
