That's right.

After defeating Nintendo, Namco Bandai, Epic Games, and Obsidian, and THEN going head-to-head with BIOWARE, the indie developer company Mojang, which was formed LAST YEAR, managed to win the whole thing!

Congratulations to Mojang for winning this contest with only ONE released game: Minecraft, and one promised game: Scrolls!

I honestly can't believe it.

I'm more interested in how Mojang totally demolished the competition before BioWare.

But beating BioWare is an amazing feat, especially with just the Minecraft community!

I'm with masq, when I saw them up against valve I kind of felt they would have gotten their asses kicked. (And they might have, had valve posted an announcement about it across all their games, which they did in the past.)
