A Little Plumbing Problem

Koidos, a strangely normal planet. Despite its wet climate and the many marshlands scattered all across the land, the planet did have an abundancy of natural resources. And so the residents of the planet were able to live with no trouble. But recently for some odd reason, the water level of the planet has begun to rise, slowly and slowly, but no one knew what caused it and no one knew how to stop it. After several years the once great planet's surface has become mostly covered in water. Now that most of the natural resources on the planet has become submerged in water, Koidos is quickly becoming in danger of resource starvation.

And this is the story of a space ship that "landed" on the face of a mountainside on the flooded planet...

Their ship flew straight into a mountain, and then fell down and crashed in a marshy wetland of sorts. Now the spaceship is practically a pile or rubble, and from within it climbed out a young woman of her early twenties. She had long waist-length purple hair, purple eyes, and a tattoo on her forehead. Her breasts are somewhat revealed by her skin-tight black outfit, and she wore thigh high socks. In her hand was a worn out iron chain, and the woman cracked her neck before turning toward the ship and yelling.

"What the hell did you do?! I told you to turn! But do you listen? No! Ugh, remind me why I let you pilot the ship." the woman yelled.

After the woman had stepped out of the totally totaled spaceship, another woman, a bit younger than the former, had also stepped out, toying with a small handheld device. Her attire was very uniform, and she looked very well kept, though they had just crashed. Her hat and glasses were disordered, and her hair was a bit windswept, but adjusted them immediately. Unlike her partner, she remained mostly cool and calm. "...It was too late to turn once you had most politely yelled 'turn'. The GPS is malfunctioned, and I wouldn't know how to pilot around an unfamiliar planet. Besides, you wouldn't know how to pilot it anyway." she mumbled, still fidgeting with the device. "The higher ups will certainly not be pleased with me, but no matter. I suggest we find ourselves out of this marsh so that we may accept our mission, shall we?" she asked, looking up at her partner again.

"Yes well I wouldn't be pleased by someone so incompetent either." the purple haired woman reliped.

The woman gave her companion a glare, crossing her arms and glancing around the place. She couldn't see anyone other than the two fo them, and although there did seem to be a shadow of some buildings, it seemed to be extremely far away. Still, it was the only place of any interest, and if that shadow was a city, then they would be fine. Signaling for her companion to come along, the woman took a few steps through the marsh, and was immediately greeted by a low growl.

"Giggles, we have a slight problem." the woman said to her companion as three unusually large alligators slowly trudged toward the group.

Tracking after Medusa through the mucky water, Giggles was suddenly glad that her uniform required her to wear those slick waterproof thigh-high boots. The mud slid off with ease, but she could tell she'd have to give them a good polishing. Sigh.

Upon hearing some unusual growling, she looked up to expect it to be her still ticked off partner, but was surprised to see some not-so-friendly looking gators instead. "...Oh." Giggles said quietly, putting the handheld in a pocket. "...I guess we have no choice but to exterminate these creatures. I wonder if we can take their hide and have them made into expensive purses?" she mused, taking out her Energy Saber.

"Worry about your damn purse later." Medusa yelled at her companion before returning her attention to the oversized lizards in front of them.

Sighing slightly and glancing over towards her accomplice with a dejected look, Giggles decided that she wanted to clean this up as quickly as possible. Yeah, yeah. I'll show you who's incompetant, all right... she thought to herself, concentraiting but not moving. "...You know, I'm not really into fashion, but alligator bags would sell very nicely... I'm sure that there were no laws in any of the Koidos handbooks I read that goes against selling animal hides... Is it bad of me to think this way?" she mused again, twirling her saber between her fingers.

Medusa immmediately took off after she blended into the shadows, running past her companion and wheeling her chain in the air. Then she tossed her chain toward the reptile and smacked it on the head, then swing it around to strike it again.

After being spanked by a scaley tail a few times, Giggles was becoming a bit annoyed. It didn't hurt very much, but it still would probably leave a few lingering red marks. Should she just put it out of its misery now? ...But oh, she didn't want to be too cruel... All living things want to live for as long as they can, right? Instead, she gave the beast a couple graceful lashes with her saber.
