I almost forgot to make a thread for this. Anyway, so this serves the same purpose as it always had with my threads. To talk about the rps then somehow go horribly off-topic and have Masq yell at us. Enjoy, ara :3

Yeah, so I looked over the profiles again, and I noticed the armors so far. Torn Robes and Schoolgirl Outfit. And remember when I implicitly implied that Balmamusa was the northernmost nation and that most of its land is comprised of tundra and very snowy mountains? Yeah, some of us might be freezing our arses off ^^;;

But even if he isn't human, it's still a living being so it should at least be somewhat affected by the cold if not freezing his arse off. And no matter what Mira's still screwed. :3
And as for my character, I'm going to wait for Nano and maybe Silv (if he's quick enough to get an app in) to pick their characters then see what roles need filling up. Because I'm fine with using Æther or Dovahkiin. The former can't feel anything, while the second lived his past 30-ish years in Balmamusa, so they'd both be fine with the climate. Not so sure about the others though. >3>

Why would a schoolgirl outfit in the north NOT be warmly made? That makes no sense.

Character sent, she shan't be having any trouble with the cold. She'll just create a shell off wind to block out any problematic weather conditions or temperatures.

Right, I have received note from Nano, she says she won't be able to get on much, so I'm afraid we're going to have to wait a while longer for her since one of the main points of this rp is to get Nano used to our stat rps. I apologize for the inconvenience. ^^

Okay, double post because this is an announcement. Nano says she might be leaving due to reasons that I cannot divulge the information on. So the first post shall come as soon as I get a few things ready. ^^

Updated. This won't be the last time you see wolves, they're nasty little buggers that have high Movement and hit quite hard. So, I suggest we don't let more than one of them hit Silv's character, because there's no way she's going to survive even two normal attacks from the wolves. :/

I was going to have her use Embracing Wind and then move to recover her Mp, but something tells me that sending her off on her own would most certainly be the worst possible idea. So she'll just use Embracing Wind and float there and let someone else sponge up damage for her.

Edit: She is so getting two Hp and a Def upgrade upon level up.

Edit 2: I just realized their Atk stat is 7. What level one enemy has an Atk stat of 7?

Wow. Way to go Kuori. First battle enemies with ridiculously high attack. This is starting off nicely.

Are they really that ridiculous-...yeah...bad move on my part...nerfing them as we speak...sorry guys...^^;

I do believe your character has a skill to reduce physical damage for everyone in adjacent cells. We just surround you and get the damage reduction.

It's not just reduce, it's completely nullifying the damage. Which I'm probably going to nerf pretty soon now that I think about it >.>
Also, Mira does have a pretty good DEF stat, she can tank the wolves no problem even without the damage nullify. :3

This is true. Era has like 2 Def which is very very small compared to everyone else. :P

She makes up for it with like the ability to cross most impassible cells due to Float and super movement/evasion.

Yes, 10% evasion may not sound like much in and of itself, but it can make a difference. ^^
Also, you guys should familiarize yourselves with the snowstorm condition, there will likely be at least one battle with some variation of this condition in every mission in Northern Wind. This is only a mild one, so 10% accuracy drop isn't that bad, but the worst snowstorm will both reduce vision (so it would be like a fog of war map) and reduce accuracy by a very high percentage (still haven't decided the number yet). :3

I can't wait until Job Promotion because then she gets Wind's Grace innate ability that allows her to use up any movement she hasn't used after acting. Not to mention her Resist Wind. <3

So basically it's like the mounted units from Fire Emblem? :3

Yup. Pretty much. However, that's all she gets until her final promotion. Then she gets one more innate ability that increases her Evade and Crit by 10% and Null Wind instead of Resist. :P

Yeah, I planned on casting it, but I can only cast it once, and if I'm hit during the charge, I lose the MP and the spell. So, you literally have to surround me.

Also, to Gaeru, may I change my spells? I know this is mid-battle, and it's not big changes, but I finally figured out how to work in INT and I want to implement it before posting my first battle phase.

First off let me see what you're going to change, then I'll decide. >.>

Basically, it changes the charge time from 1 turn to 3 turns -10% INT rounded down. So less than 10 int is -0 turns of charge time.
