The Haunted House on the Hill

There is a house that is said to be haunted. It is hidden deep in the forest, atop a hill. Everyone who has gone in has never come back.

Now, your character's interest has been aroused by the rumors, and you and your friends (everyone else in the game) decide to go and investigate. You arrive at noon, and enter the house together.

You are locked in from the outside. Cell phone service is gone. Time is screwy. A monster on the rampage. Left and right, your friends fall. A mystery deep in the walls of the house, and a mystery surrounding yourself.

Will you escape the house alive?


(WARNING: As part of the plot, your character will die. Maybe repeatedly. You'll be brought back to life by circumstances to be explained in the roleplay, and I'll ask you to write a death scene on occasion. Don't worry, you're not being singled out or asked to leave the RP, but this is critical to the plot. No getting angry with me about it.)

I just need to know exactly what to think about when creating the characters. Children? Weird adults? Drunk college students?

Teenagers. Specifically, teenagers who have yet to experience death in the family aside from a grandparent or something. They're all going to be friends.

Define teenager. I mean, should I go for the grammatical sense of the word (12-19) or a more personal meaning? (I usually call anyone bellow 15 a child)

So I haven't played a regular RP in a time, how should I submit the character?

Welp, you have options. You can send in a character sheet of your choice, or you can wing it and stash it somewhere, or I can make a thread for characters and you can submit them there. You all can pick.

I personally think it's easier to post all the character profiles in the same thread that we'll be RPing in for easy access, but since everyone here is used to the seperate Character Profiles thread, maybe it should be done that way?
But you're the GM, it's your choice.

Also: I have thought of a character, but haven't put them down on paper, so I'd be interested in joining~ Yaay~
