Hm...if you're lookig for a laid-back comical anime, try Lucky Star...if you're looking for more of an action anime, Code Geass is good...nya...=^.^=

Lucky Star was a pretty funny anime. I wasn't too fond of Code Geass, so I wouldn't recommend it. But that's just my opinion.

Why aren't we going to the anime section for this, I just realized.

Baccano! is a PERFECT starting anime.

It has great action, it has finished airing, it all starts up in a jumble, then clears itself up every episode. It's a mixture of action, a tiny bit of horror, and comedy.
