Zexilk took a step back, preparing himself for his next attack. He held his chain scythes up in front of him, holding them only by his forefingers and thumbs. After remaining motionless for some time, Zexilk's body seemed to blur through the area, his movements too fast for the eye to see. His scythes spun around and around his body and began to glow a light blue color. Zexilk picked up his speed, swinging his scythes around quick enough for the blue light to last in the air for quite some time.

"Execution Mode: Full Moon," Zexilk muttered aloud, finally making sense of his motions. The light left by the scythes gave the image of a full moon. "Crescent Slash," Zexilk said, one of his scythes appearing from under the enemy, sweeping up in a crescent fashion, slicing the creature. "Half Moon," Zexilk brought both of his scythes together, slashing the enemy from both sides as the bladed weapons shot toward and away from each other. "Lunar Eclipse," Zexilk jumped over the enemy, taking only the middle of the chain with him and yanking it forward. The two scythes shot back and caught the creature by each side. "Full Moon Guillotine," Zexilk then took his scythes, flipped back over and tore the enemy in half. Zexilk stood straight, wiping off the blood from his weapons.

"Execution complete," Zexilk said, without a hint of remorse.

The final enemy left standing, and there was a great opening available for them. Alexander took charge, moving Irene behind him and raising the blade he held. Suddenly a flurry of spastic movements went back and forth between the man and the creature. Large cuts being made in the thing's "skin" as he went.

With only the weakened White standing in his way Tenzo took out his C-12 and stared him down his hands shaking with anticipation. He thought of only one thing as he threw them at White. 'Sorry Kirin I won't be joining you yet. But I promise one way or another we will be reunited in this world no matter what the cost.'

If that was the case...

Orin retrieved his book once more and opened to the first page and began to read as if there were no strange creatures about at all. It seems the others around him had immensely disliked the creatures because they certainly held nothing back. At least he wouldn't have to worry about the creatures messing with him or the others now. As his eyes scanned the words of the page, he felt his mana reserves slowly recovering. Won't be able to use them now, he thought to himself while turning the page. I wonder if I'll have to use them again... He shook his head. It was hard to concentrate on his reading when all of these extra thoughts were drifting through his mind.

White blood splattered across the pure white walls of what seemed to be an endless corridor of achromatic, lost hope. The group of strangers quickly came to the consensus that venturing deeper into the white would be the best choice of action. Their footsteps gently echoed throughout the hallway, yet it failed to break the silence amongst the group. Even the lighthearted members remained silent among the white.

They had nowhere to return to within the whiteness, therefore, they could travel wherever they pleased.

As the strangers wandered deeper into the endless depths of the colorless halls, the walls of the corridor they were traveling down seemed to slowly become dangerously opaque, until the hallway itself seemed to collapse upon the white carpet, leaving them nowhere to go.

They had nowhere to travel within the whiteness. To travel, one must know their own destination.

From the corrupted and malformed hallway's walls sprung two nearly identical serpents of immense length. The only apparent difference between the two creatures was that one was of a black tint; the other, white. Their bodies seemed to intertwine with one another, yet their heads were on opposite sides of the party. Such distorted creatures had attacked them without a cause.

They were not near home. They were not welcome.

Alexander and Irene start in I3!

Alexander once more brought Irene behind him, drawing his weapon the second the beasts got close. He then took the sorry excuse for a shield out from behind him, also raising it, as if trying to block an attack that would come for him and his love. But none came, these creatures were hostile, but they weren't attacking, at least not yet. Ever wary, the duo were ready to battle, thinking of the other's safety as they awaited enemy action.

Orin starts at H1.

Never before had Orin experienced the strangeness of this unique makeshift voidspace. Where were they? He and the others, that is. Moving on as a group seemed to be the unspoken agreement amongst them, but what now? Now that everything had collapsed and they were once again faced with vicious creatures? Orin touched the back of his hand gently and swept it forward causing the blade of concentrated magical energy to spring to life. Whatever stood in their way, he would blast to smithereens.

Zexilk starts in J-2

Zexilk moved forward slowly, holding up his chain scythes out towards the enemy, ready to strike at any moment. His breathing was steady and silent, just like an assassin's would be. But he is not an assassin, he is a scythe master. Very soon he would be able to use all different kinds of scythes, but before that, he had to locate his lost friend. He had to do it, even if it was the last thing he would ever do.

It was time commence said blasting. Orin stepped towards the black wall creature and pointed at it solemnly. It was the one who deigned attack, so there was no regret in incinerating it. "O perilous flames, roar! Fireball! Fireball! Fireball!" he shouted as three spheres of fire burst into life and shot forth from his open hand, all three blazing projectiles striking their mark.

Orin casts Fireball on Umbra! 3 hits! 7 Fire Dmg per hit! (INT)

The duo moved as one, taking a couple of steps towards the black creature, stopping just out of range. Alexander turned his blade on the creature, but Irene merely put her hand on the metal, as if silently telling the other that physical attacks would fail. Gritting his teeth, Alexander put his blade down and watched as Irene created a ball of fire and threw it at the enemy.

Zexilk moves to L-2

Zexilk jumped forward, his scythes already spinning around in a circular motion, a blue aura surrounding them as he prepared to attack. The spinning became quicker as Zexilk moved the scythes around in difficult maneuvers as he charged up blades of wind, which were sent streaking towards the enemy at an incredibly fast pace. Each blade of wind cut into the enemy and drew a fair amount of blood. Zexilk quickly took back his blades and prepared for defense. After an attack like that, there was no way that the enemy wouldn't be angry.

Zexilk uses Air Slash on Illuma! 7 Atk DMG! 4 hits!

"More baddies?!" Elci eagerly shouted with irritation and impatience, wanting to escape from the hellish, white halls as soon as she could, "Blast 'em to smithereens, kay?" She cheered, tone filled with courage and playfulness. It was nearly impossible for Elci to take a situation seriously, no matter how dangerous the circumstances may be. Nobody really knows whether or not she's just obvious to everything around her, or if she chooses to ignore it.

Orin had been butted out of his space rather painfully by an odd black crystal. It didn't appear to be very dangerous at the moment, but the walls, now closing in, were starting to appear to be the major threat. "They're trying to crush us," he stated loud enough for everyone to hear. He was aware that they probably had realized that, but still. If anyone had missed the obvious, there it was.

"Flames, strike! Fireball! Fireball! Fireball!" he chanted, unleashing a barrage of fiery spheres at the wall he had previously singed with the same spell, but now he cast it with more zeal--more determination. Their survival was at stake now, whatever that meant.

Orin waits.

Zexilk scowled. Of course the enemies were trying to crush them, why else would they be growing in such a strange manner? Zexilk raised his kusarigama high and threw it at the enemy, the blade stabbing the large creature and hanging there. Zexilk grasped the chain of the scythes tightly and flipped backwards, pulling on the chain and ripping the scythe out of the enemy's body while moving backwards at the same time. Zexilk landed on his feet and caught his scythe, immediately switching his stance to a defensive one, so as to protect himself from any oncoming attacks from the enemy.
