When Kuori and Silver had come to, they were in the first-aid tent being treated. Silver had bandages wrapped around his torso area, and they were still stained red. Surrounding him were several of the Whitewing girls, they seemed to be squealing over Silver and the fact that he was shirtless. While Kuori, although having had no real physical issues, was suffering from a bad headache. A few of her joints were having problems too, she would need to fix those once she could think clearly again.

"Glad for you two to have come to. I was afraid for a moment that I'd have killed you back there, mage-boy." Alexis said, sitting next to Kuori's bed sharpening his blade.

Silver blushed deeply upon coming to, smiling like an idiot for a moment before a ping of pain in both mind and heart got him to stop. Looking away from the squealing girls, he listened to Alexis halfheartedly, his thoughts directed towards his feelings.

Why did he feel horrible for letting these girls coo and giggle over him? Was it something from the real world that was keeping him from just enjoying everything? Thinking hard, he tried to remember if there was anything that would spark realization, but all he got was a somewhat familiar face and some letters... JMF. Pushing the thoughts from his head for a moment he nodded at Alexis.

"I'm just sorry we couldn't help show your trainees how to really fight."

"It's quite alright, they saw what they needed to see." Alexis said, "After all, it wouldn't matter which one of us won, but it does better for morale if an officer on our own side came out victorious, even if it is a spar."

Alexis then stood up, and that was when Kuori noticed Alexis still had his armor on. This made her wonder, for how long had they been out cold? What was the time now? Judging from the darkness outside it was already past sundown, but how long past sundown? And as Alexis proceeded to leave the first aid tent, he seemed to have read Kuori's mind.

"Oh and get ready. You two were out for nearly four hours." Alexis informed them, "Get changed quickly, the mission starts in twenty minutes. I'll be accompanying your group this time around."

With that Alexis walked out, leaving Silver to be the only male in the tent full of girls.

The thoughts came back as Silver was the only male in the tent, but he did his best to push them to the back of his head. They had to be ready for battle in only a couple minutes, and he would be no use to anyone distracted. Moving his way through the girls, he stood on shaky legs and grabbed his shirt from the edge of the bed. Slipping it on, he heard some of the girls sigh and begin to shuffle out but he paid them no mind.

"Come on, we should get to the others..."

"Right..."

Kuori sat up, taking a brief moment to fix a few problems with her gears and circuit before getting out of bed. Her headache was receding and she would probably be fine for the mission, even if she wouldn't be at her best. Following Alexis and some of the Whitewing girls out of the tent, leaving Silver alone to deal with the rest of his fangirls.

Outside the tent, the pink haired commander, along with the best of her fighters, were all rallied together nearby. Their weapons and shields were resting on racks, sharpened ready to be taken into battle at any moment. Each of their Pegasi also looked more fierce and ready for combat, but what caught Kuori's eyes was the large beast among the flock of Pegasi. It had a long tail, scaly skin, fangs in its jaw, and it was nearly twice the size of the winged ponies, it was a wyvern.

"Ah, good to see you Kuori." Marcia said after noticing the android girl, "We're just getting ready for deployment. You ready for war?"

"I think so..."

"Fantastic. As soon as your four friends arrive we'll begin."

Silver pushed away from most of the girls, heading outside with Kuori rather quickly. The pain from earlier was even worse when he was all alone with them, and he didn't want to feel it. Whatever wounds he took on the battlefield would be nothing compared to the pain he'd been feeling, and he would gladly take the former over the latter. As soon as he stepped outside, he listened in on the last couple moments of Marcia's speech, looking around for the other three members of their party. In only a few moments they appeared and Silver nodded at Marcia confidently.

"We're ready."

"Right, I'll review the mission details with the few minutes we have left." Marcia said, "Our overall objective is to weaken the defenses on the river bank to secure the main army passage across the river without being under too much interception fire. But due to our lack of viable combatants the five of you, along with Alexis, will be flying over enemy formation and into a nearby location where Imperial senators are setting up camp for the night. Your job is to neutralize the guards and terrorize the senators as much as possible so that they will request backup from the enemy general's army. The enemy would have no choice but to pull back a good chunk of their forces, giving us the perfect opportunity to make a blow at their dwindled numbers. Hopefully this will cause them to divert their right flank to the left to provide backup, thus allowing the main army to safely cross the river. However we only have barely an hour before the main army begins their march, so we'll have to work quickly."

Then Marcia averted her gaze first to Caroline, then to her more fierce subordinate, Fang. Her eyes narrowing as she did so.

"Caroline and I will carry you to the senators' camp." Marcia continued, "Fang is to lead the initial charge and hold out until the two of us return. From that point on I will take command and we will stall until the signal from Alexis is received. At that point the rest of our units will charge and make a push for the left flank. And Fang, I don't want anything reckless while you're in charge, am I understood?"

Fang said nothing, but merely nodded, her eyes sharper than ever. This time, her gaze did not drift to the card player, and her thoughts weren't clouded with images of her. This was important, and no malice or feeling otherwise for anyone would get in her way. Grabbing her spear and shield from the rack, she rushed over to the Wyvern, and with a single fluid motion mounted the scaled creature. As if on cue, it began to flap its wings, causing it to hover slightly in the air. She was ready.

In the meantime, Silver and Felicia moved their way over to Caroline. Both looked more focused than ever, Felicia's eyes not darting towards Fang and her mount of choice. She too realized this to be an important mission, for her cause or not, and she would not let her mind be clouded either. For Silver though, the process of emptying his mind and fully concentrating on the battle was a little harder. Slight twangs of pain from earlier still lingered in his heart, and he worried about them every so often when he unfortunately let his mind wander. But truly prepared or not, he was ready to go, no matter what was going on with him internally.

"Good. If we do this right then we can win this without any casualties." Marcia said as she mounted her winged steed.

Kuori climbed onto the Pegasus after the pink-haired commander. She was as focused as she could be right now, with her head still being in such pain. It would be awful if she were to lose her balance and fall off the Pegasus in mid-air. Of course, it seemed that Kee was more afraid, because he was quivering as he was pulled up onto the steed by Marcia, who then seated him in between her and Kuori. Although, being the frightened little boy he still is, Kee wrapped his arms around the commander.

"Landseal is depending on us!" Marcia announced, "Whitewing Division, take to the skies!"

Marcia's battle cry was quickly followed by a crowd of cheers, as each able Whitewing soldier that could hold their own in a full-on assault took off one by one. Then Marcia's Pegasus flapped its wings and began to ascend, causing Kee to clench to her more tightly. But as he did so, his hands seemed to have grabbed onto something soft. But apparently Marcia either didn't notice or did not care, because she did not get angry, nor did she say anything for that matter.

"...hey Kid, I'm going to break your arms when we get back." Marcia finally said five minutes later as they were gracefully soaring through the air over the large river.
