I was watching an episode of John Doe. I think it's an excellent show, but I can see why it didn't last long. Writers couldn't keep topping what they'd written.

Today at lunch, a few friends who all sit at the same table with me decided to prank call GameStop. It went like this, as much as I can remember:

(Anonymous friend, let's call him Bob.) Bob: Dude! It's ringing.

GameStop Clerk: Thanks for calling, we've got the//insert blah blah blah//.

Bob: Do you have Battletoads?

Clerk: No, we just sold out.

Bob: DAMMIT!!

Cue laughter and giggles from the rest of us.
