Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
For my Betrayal folks, Tiamat won't use Wateja until half of her health is gone. At that point, she'll spam it AND start targeting the healers in between the Wateja onslaughts. Also, if she manages to get down to 10% health, she'll use her D-Ability, so be careful.

...Masq-kun, did Ryu's R-Ability not activate for some reason or does Windy have to do it, ara? ^^;

I'm not responsible for most R-Abilities. Besides, you have to remember to do it and you can also decide whether to use it or not. Sometimes you might not want it to, and if I was taking care of it, I'd always activate it which could possibly land you in deep trouble.
In summary, it's your job to keep up with it.

Ho, crap, I just realized I made a mistake in my last post with Evan. Why the hell did I put J-6 when he can't even move that far. Did I end up getting confused with Ruthas' positioning in SS. . . . .? >.> Talk about being an airhead. XP

Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
Nope. A Sealed character cannot use any of his/her abilities.
Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
Sealed characters can't act at all, right?

Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
That is correct. Sealed characters cannot do anything. They can neither act or move; they're Sealed in place.

XD Damn. I was hoping Ryu could maybe move to the side.
Whenever I see Seal, I think ducktaping someone. I wonder why?

Zaneko, I think it's hilarious that Dale thinks that the seal stone is just some trinket. You'll find out its significance in due time. "Seals of Orenthia" is in the title right? Just trust me when I say that the seal stones are important.
And I had some inspiration for who has stolen the Cordalan Seal Stone. The boss waiting in the back of this cave will not be a fun one~~

Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
I know it's important. It's just that Dale doesn't. Until something amazing happens as a result of it, he will continue bashing on it. And, by extension, Lucille.
Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
Oh, harsh. XD I don't think Lucille will be too happy. What a rift. XD

Dale isn't big on people skills. Comes from days spent locked away in the library with the other scholars.
Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
Lucille doesn't really care. All she cares about is getting the Seal Stone back. She doesn't care about Axis or Dale right now. She probably won't until she gets a good chance to talk to them which will be a little after the Hidden Cave, and in more detail once they reach the capital.

Yeah. This battle with Lucidity was supposed to be a really quick one. Afterwards, we get to go to the first town and junk. So hurry up, post, die, and lets move on!! 8D

Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
If she didn't have a hit all enemies move, we could've won this...
Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
No we couldn't have. Even if she didn't have a hit all basic attack, she does have this:
+No Escape: Spins around quickly, lashing out at nearby enemies while blades of wind slice at enemies farther away. 120% Atk Dmg for nearby enemies. 120% Int Dmg for faraway enemies. Range: All surrounding cells (adjacent/diagonal) for ATK; All other enemies for INT. 3 hits. 36 MP.
HELLOOOOOO! NO ESCAPE! We never could have won this. Period.

+Poisoned Needle: Using a special needle covered in special chemicals, Layla launches the needle at her target. 100% ATK DMG. Chance of Poison/Paralyze. Range: 5 Cells.
+Stitching: Bringing out thread and needle, Layla quickly stitches close any gaping wound. Cures Bleeding/Blood Loss. Brings target out of critical. Range: Self/Adjacent.

I need clarification for Stitching. Does it just erase critical status, or does it heal a target to the point where they are no longer critical?
Re: Tales of Alidare Discussion Thread V.5
Second one. I'll add that in, I guess.
