I think the kid is fucking stupid. How is it the teacher's fault that the kid is stupid? I mean seriously, my little eight year old brother wouldn't do that!

Re: Unrightfully Blamed!
Basically the kid attached high voltage wires to his nipples and suffered brain damage. The kid and his parents claim that the teacher nor the school warned the students of the dangers of electrical equipment. I think it's a load of crap, how is the school to blame? I mean seriously, no one I know is that stupid. The kid's in high school (supposedly a junior), you think he would have enough common sense by then.
Re: Unrightfully Blamed!
You would think, wouldn't you? I hope you're not surprised by this incident. ^ ^; If you are, then you'd better start learning that this is just the way the world works for now.
Re: Unrightfully Blamed!
I'm not that surprised really, just pissed that the teacher is blamed for the kid's stupidity.
Re: Unrightfully Blamed!
No point in being angry. It's just a waste of time for a small matter in the middle of nowhere that has to do with you, me, or anyone else. Maybe something on a more momentous scale would prove meritable, but this? Fact of life.
Re: Unrightfully Blamed!
Thousands of people die every day around the world from HIV, and you're concerned about someone suffering brain damage for being stupid, the teacher getting blamed as a result?
Instead of wasting time getting pissed, how about spending time praying for the souls of the departed? Those people who didn't even have a chance to do something with their lives?

Bingo. We're talking about the macro scale here, Silver. Those are the things that really matter. When they're finally taken care of, THEN we'll worry about dumbass and his electrical field day.
Re: Unrightfully Blamed!
This doesn't even rank that high on my list of stupid things that people have done.
For instance, the guy that held the people at Discovery Channel's headquarters in Maryland hostage by gunpoint because he didn't approve of their program roster and they 'weren't doing enough to help save the planet'. When he got shot by one of the police snipers, one of the explosive devices he'd had strapped to his chest went off.
Now, if that doesn't tell you how stupid people are getting, just pay a little bit of attention to the news about once a day. The only reason deaths on a 'macro' scale aren't getting put up like that is because people have become insensitive to it. They don't want to hear it anymore because people keep saying it over and over, or at least it feels that way.
All in all, they don't want to know.
