As this role play has NOTHING to do with TOAD, this is where everything (besides PMs) concerning the SPJ roleplay will go.

~Items:
-Items are of extreme importance in this rpg, unlike the others that have been made so far. They can determine if you win or lose against an enemy trainer. All STATUS and MANA healing items may be used any number of times during the battle, as long as you have the proper amount. HEALTH healing items may be used any number of times during Non-Player Character battles, but NEVER for Player v.s Player.
-You may NOT use any MEDICINE item for Contest battles. That includes Rare Candies, Protein, and Revives.
-Your character has ONE bag, therefore you may only use the items that are in YOUR bag. Your medicine pocket may hold up to 10 different medicine items and 10 similar items (each). So you can't have 11 Potions, but you can have 10 Potions and 1 Super Potion.
-You may make a list of the items you currently have in any form somewhere in your profile. Right now, you should have exactly 1 Potion.
+ Key Items
-The Bicycle does not exist.
-The Explorer Kit does not exist.
-The Poffin Case/Pokeblock Case DOES exist.
-BERRIES are carried in a small, protective bag located in the Key Items pocket.
-Any item that went into the "Item" pocket in the game now goes into the Key Item pocket. This includes Escape Rope, Silk Scarf, and Repel.
+ Pokeballs
-There is a pocket specifically for Pokeballs. You may carry up to 20 Pokeballs at a time.
-If a Pokeball fails, it does not count to the loss of a Pokeball.
-Catch Rate: The catch rate of a pokemon ranges from 3-100%. Luckily for us, we are forbidden from catching legendaries.
Note: Rotom does NOT count as a legendary pokemon.
-You should not have any Pokeballs yet.

Right now, your Bag should look something like this:

Medicine:

+ Potion (x1)

Key Items:

+ Money Bag

+ Trainer Card
Name: Selena Rose
Age: 18
Type: Dual - Contests/Gyms

+ Trainer Case
Kanto Badges: 0
Kanto Ribbons: 0
Johto Badges: 0
Johto Ribbons: 0
Hoenn Badges: 0
Hoenn Ribbons: 0
Sinnoh Badges: 0
Sinnoh Ribbons: 0

(Obviously a trainer who specializes in only one aspect would not have all of this.)

+ Berry Pouch

-Chesto (x1)
-Cheri (x1)
-Pecha (x1)
-Oran (x1)

That's all for right now.

Now, if you all will move your attention to the newly-updated section of the Character Profile thread: https://eternaldream.forummotion.com/character-profiles-f8/statistical-pokemon-journey-cp-thread-t656.htm#65623

You will see that I will be keeping tabs on your trainer and your pokemon. That is also where you will see your pokemon's IV stats, so go ahead and take a look. The HP-SPR range from 0-31, and the Move stat ranges from 1-4. Sliv got very lucky, that's all I'm saying. If you see a stat that is highlighted red, it means that particular stat has reached the maximum number it can reach.

Also, something I want to bring to mainly Sliv's attention, concerning his character.

I have decided to set up Portrait Contests in order for Sliv's character to participate in something exciting. I haven't worked out many of the details yet, but this is something I will handle myself, seeing as the contests will be quite small. When I've figured everything out, I'll let everyone know.

That's all for now, because I'm hungry and need to get Subway or something...

Well I'm good with my luck. Piplup had horrible move to begin with so this was a bright side.

Chikorita is somewhere in the middle, but whatever. I didn't care about that so much as the actual IVs.

Also, Masq has the first encounter for a pokemon.

Of course.

The area we are in matters in the type of pokemon we can see.

For example, near the pokemon labs we would typically see a grass, normal, or flying type. On the occasion poison, water and fire, but no ice, steel, rock, ghost, dark, psychic, etc.

Try for? We don't have pokeballs. This is more for experience I'm guessing. And we get it labeled as 'seen' in our pokedex. OMG. =o

You know when I was first thinking about it, I was gonna trade away Piplup to get the team I planned for Serah. But now, especially with that 4 Move IV, I think I'll keep it. I will still get her Maril though ^.^

You do know that a move IV of 4, you can still lose a lot of battles? >>

If you trade a pokemon, the pokemon you get will have the same IVs.

I never particularly liked the starters :p

And if that is the case I might just trade, but then again probably not. Empoleon is a badass with razors =3

Edit: Of course Piplup will need a huge amount of discipline instilled upon it.

I think Hoenn wins. Oak is a know-it-all, Elm is a nerd, and Rowan is just plain scary. I think he might be a child molestor.

Birch is funny and the shit. Soooo, yeah. We real cool. Accept it.

Okay, the time has come! Post your profiles, don't forget your Bag, and beware of hot sauce! (don't ask).

Also, I'm watching Bones right now, so my replies will be delayed.
