The discussion thread for that super duper, duper super role play I came up with.

Since it involves 3 people, discussing it over PM would be trifling and more time-consuming that through this method.

Before we get started, there are a few things that need to get done. For example, Durn and Masq's characters need to be posted.

Take your time and think it over. Who would be the best for the job you've been given?

I've got things to do today. Blame Mondays. But I'll have a profile up by this evening, probably after Organic Chem lecture.

Yeah, school makes my life busy.

And on top of it I have a Minecraft community to maintain as well as this community to visit.

I'm a very busy person. ;D

Yep. Busy, busy. I've only had small breaks throughout the day, mainly due to homework. Alas. Whatever. I have most of the profile done. His name is ridiculously silly, mainly his last name. Got inspiration for that in Biology today. XD It'll be done once I get home after Organic Chem lecture as I predicted.

I shall complete my idea when I finish my work.

And, as promised, a profile. Took me longer to complete than I had hoped but it's done.

And it is a very fitting match for this role play, I believe.

Sariska and him could have a heated and somewhat violent to others sort of debate. Sariska has all this intelligence, but nowhere to use it. I'd say her IQ would be around the 180-200 range. So she may enjoy talking with a scientist. Of course, you have to get Star to actually like you. Good luck with that part though. >>

Well, I only made him a scientist so I could have the "Dr." in front of his ridiculous name. The "Dr." makes it less ridiculous, imo. When he introduces himself, he'll tell the person to just call him Ark or RK. Whichever.

Okies, my character is under construction.

Okay, all three profiles are in, so we're almost ready to start.

The first order of business that needs to be attended to is the situation.

Where are we as individuals at the moment?

The Law of Conformity was passed 8 years ago, and the governments of the world were dissolved two years later.

Two years after that, an organization sprung up from nowhere, lead by a single man at that point, who soon gained members for his little "club." Since there was no authority at the time, they pretty much went unnoticed. A year passed before the organization began implementing their plan for the disassembly of equality, and they went unopposed. However, during their second year of existence, an authoritative organization was set up to keep the peace, but that was just a cover up so that they had the ability to kill anyone who was "different." That authoritative organization is made up of people who are willing to kill themselves after the revolutionaries are subdued or killed, meaning that all authority would die and it would truly be a peaceful world.

Sariska "Star" is living her life as commanded by the Law of Conformity as of now. She doesn't like it, but there really isn't anything she can do about it. Star is unable to perform her best at concerts due to the law, however, and she is pretty pissed about that, so I suggest using that as a leverage against her once our characters meet up. It won't seal the deal, but it will grab her attention.

I suggest that we start off with Dr. Ark and Aurielle searching for Star together. Whoever posts first can create the setting (post in here first to confirm who goes first though). It could be at a set where Star is preparing a music video or commercial in Chicago, or it could be out front of Star's apartment in New York City, or it could be in the mall or the pharmacy or the drug store (Star needs her medz). It could be anywhere. All I want is a scene where there is a legitimate excuse for Star to actually want to be there. Keep it in the confines of modern-day society, with the conformity law, of course.

In your post, describe the scenery (you know what to do, actually) and grab Star's attention. I don't care what you see her doing.

That's basically all I want. If you guys have any other ideas, feel free to post them and let everyone know. We can have a friendly discussion. =D

Unfortunately, I'm not as decisive as Dr. Goodenough, so I'd spend too much time trying to figure things out. I think you're a bit more precise than me. As a matter of fact, you don't want me to do the opening post. =.= When I'm allowed to create a setting, I go completely all out with imagery. It'll be another ToA: The Summoning opening post and we can't let that happen. Just trust me. ><

I would recommend that Masq be the next to post, since it would fit the situation better than Star just showing up all of a sudden. His thoughts on the situation, etc.
