Right, Affinity is how close your character is to other characters, and as far as I know it serves no purpose except for unlocking C-Abilities between two characters once they reach enough Affinity (I think it was 100?). Of course, my information could be outdated, so Masq is free to come in and correct me any time now. ^^

Basically that's how it works, give the GM a value of how much your Affinity goes up (or in some cases goes down) and see if the GM approves of it.

Pretty much after an event or a battle, you send a PM to the GM and say how many affinity points you earned with each character.

6 is usually the maximum amount allowed, but depending on the situation it could end up being more. It'd be safer to think of it as a scale from 0-6 though, with 0 being no interactions at all and 6 being maximum possible interactions.

I don't know. I kinda gave up on Affinity system, so figure out something on your own if you're going to use it. lmao Affinity shows in character development most of the time. Only thing I applied Affinity to is Corruption now. The max was supposed to be 100, but I think I doubled it to 200. Because 150 is ew.

Basically that's how it works. To be honest I feel like I should just get rid of it anyway, since it serves very little purpose. I'll decide what I'm going to do by the end of the boss fight :/
Also I think Gladdos just gave Mangix enough reason to D-Ability on the first turn...XDDD

Affinity is pretty much how well you and that character get along. The number doesn't really mean anything. If your characters enjoy hanging out, they'll have a high affinity. If they are indifferent, they will have a low affinity.

If they hate each others guts, then that's where affinity gets complicated to the point where no one actually does that on purpose. =3=
