Children are foul beings, I always say that. I don't know who said children are inherently good and innocent but he/she obviously never knew any child.

Yeah, I dare someone to find anybody who thought middle school was "fun".

I find the lack of proper education and etiquette that is supposed to be taught to them by their parents severely frustrating.

I didn't dare watch the video, but I already know what happens. Kids these days are so up their asses with ignorance that all they believe in is partying and doing whatever they want, as displayed by everyone around them. And they don't even consider /why/, they don't ask questions or anything. They follow whoever they consider their idols like dumbass monkeys, which severely makes me frustrated with the world. We've degenerated, reverting back to arrogant chimps.

I don't think hatred is a good way to solve hatred...

Humans haven't degenerated, they've evolved. And that is exactly why they are so terrible. Compared to other animals who adhere to their own survival strategy and nothing else, humans are just much less elegant and beautiful. Not that humans are terrible beings per se, just other animals seem to be better.

I blame the parents. I believe in letting your child be him/herself, but everything has limits, you just HAVE to be a decent human being. As to a way to fix it, well, I received quite a share of spanking in my childhood years, and it did me no harm. In fact it taught me the valuable lessons my parents had for me, and didn't stop me from ignoring the shit they tried to stick into my head (like prejudice and homophobia).

All in all, this is the kind of situation that just asks for a big guy with a bigger stick.

I've not dared to watch the video yet but I did look at the title and I get the general drift of what the whole thing is about.

I'm trying to be as positive as possible about people as of late but my confidence is slipping. =(

I got through the first thirty seconds without wanting to slap the shit out of somebody. Fuck that, I thought my my middle school was bad, what the hell is this shit?

I watched the first thirty seconds and wished that I had time traveling powers so I could go to that moment in time on the bus, turn into a monster, and gruesomely kill every kid that was picking on that woman. And by gruesomely kill, I mean exact unbelievable and unimaginable torture on them before granting them the mercy that is death.

In fairness, after I did some research about the whole situation I discovered that a very kind man had set up a donation site for her. A lot of people donated to her cause and she ended up receiving around 600,000 dollars from them when the original target was only 5,000 dollars. That proves that there are some good people around. She said that she'd donate some of the money to other causes seeming as she never expected to even get a cent from anybody else.

But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that those children acted in the correct way at all. NONE of them gave her a personal apology which is really sad in my opinion. The school said that they'd punish those responsible but I bet that they don't learn their lessons. Oh well. I hope that they know that their bus monitor can now afford to retire and go on a nice holiday. They'll probably end up in dead-end jobs when they're older so they'll never be able to afford a holiday. I swear...children are reverting back to chimps nowadays.
