Miyoko: "I'm the eldest."
Satoko: "Rika isn't the eldest."
Rika: "Miyoko is a liar."

Amongst them, only the eldest girl is speaking the truth.
Well then, who in the world is the eldest...?

A: Miyoko
B: Satoko
C: Rika

I was thinking Satoko at first, but I'm starting to think it's Rika. Don't ask the method behind my madness; it's more of a guess than anything.

[Zerifachias]

It can't be Satoko, because if it is, then the other two are lying.

If Rika is lying about Miyoko lying, then Miyoko is lying about lying about being the eldest, so she would be the eldest. Miyoko and Satoko can't be the eldest at the same time.

[Cerani]

^.^ Yep, that's what I was thinking. Well, not in so many words, but still.

So it's either Miyoko or Rika.

Because I couldn't find anything contradictory about either of them being the eldest.

[Masquerade]

If Miyoko were the eldest and telling the truth, sure it would mean that Rika would be lying about Miyoko being a liar meaning Miyoko would be telling the truth, but that would also mean that Satoko would be lying about Rika NOT being the eldest, meaning Rika would be the eldest, but Miyoko and Rika can't be the eldest at the same time. Right? Or did I miss something?
