I'm working on it. Can't seem to figure out what kind of R-Ability I should use. I'd like to know it before I go on, since usually it's my first priority as far as skill buying goes.

Haste is for himself. Later, he gets something that increases his number of basic attacks.
If you look carefully at his S-Ability, you will realize that with haste, he's doing 100% and 120% of his Int power in one turn, the next turn is 140% and 160%, the next is 180% and 200%....

Kuori's main objective is to be as annoying to the enemies as possible while also providing some damage and support. But mostly he'll be trying to put statuses on enemies. ^^
