Pokemon X&Y (Generation 6)

Discussion for the new Pokemon game coming out.

As of yet, we have only seen the starters and the shadows/darkened figures of the 'legendaries'

But I figure a topic will be made eventually, so may as well get talking about it now.


I hope the grass type turns into dual type with either ground/dark. I always liked Shiftry, and Torterra.

Any thoughts or opinons? Think it's going to be as dumb as the first Black and White until their remakes?

I'm excited about the new graphics system. :3

Yes, the graphics have blown me away. I mean like, the battles have been so bleh so far, but from what I've seen, they're going to be so awesome. X3 They've finally done things right in terms of graphics.

Also hoping the story won't be like every single pokemon game before it, but eh. I'm not getting my hopes up.

I don't want to make any hasty decisions. I want to see their final evolutions first. Right now, I'm definitely going for Fennekin, but that could be subject to change. XD

Chespin - Grass/Fighting
Fennekin - Fire/Phychic
Froakie - Water/Ice

I was going to get Chespin, but I'm not too fond of fighting types, Fennekin is way too popular for me to pick, and I love water/ice types, so Froakie it is~

I hope they put in following pokemon and Battle Frontier again.

I wonder what the final types are gonna be.

Infernape was the only Fire/Fighting I could tolerate.

Why?

Because it could destroy Empoleon without breaking a sweat.

Emboar? Samurott is a pure Water type and faster than Emboar.

Blaziken? Swampert is Water/Ground and designed to mop the floor with him.

...don't forget the bulky water-type archetype that literally EVERY water starter follows. Milotic is the only bulky water type I ever need 3:

...I don't typically use fire types...there hasn't been really an exception ever...I just gave one of my Pokemon Fire Punch/Flamethrower if I needed it for coverage .-.

I always try to use Grass/Fire/Water in my team, though I hardly ever use my grass type.
That being said, Swampert is a magnificent being I would love to see if they ever decide to remake R/S/E.
(I always use water types, get at me)

And the day I do is the day I break the Guinness World Record of longest running time fapping.
After that, I can be done with pokemon and move on with my life.

I'm going Chespin, never looking back. I just love grass types, way too much. I'm really hoping him being dual typed with Dark or Ground, I'm praying to any deity that will hear me out, that it will be one of those types.

They better not have another fighting started, though. Like, they really have this thing for making one of the starters become a fighting type. COUGHCOUGHFIGHTINGTYPESCOUGHCOUGH.
