~Armonia Chronicles~ ::Feign of Paradise::
The rain pounded the thick leaves above.
In the midst of the thick jungle terrain, a few figures lay here and there, completely alien to the surroundings and also alien to the methods of getting to where they were. Around them, a horrid drenching of rain filled the atmosphere with massive blots of water, literally drowning most forms of sound. Then, a powerful light encased the attention of those in the area as a thundering boom echoed through the moaning trees, rising far above the rain's merciless battery. A small wind whispered through the bark of the tall, thick branches that barely sheltered a few parts of the undergrowth below- which, conveniently, where were these figures lay. The wind seemed to whisper things... a voice, calling to the figures below.
The confusion of their conception to this area was imminent. For beforehand, they were snatched from their previous activities into a pillar of wondrous colors, which by the end of the polychromatic tunnel having no recollection thereafter. It can only be assumed that divine intervention had been used; by who, what or why, the mystery would rise with their minds to their new surroundings. Unfortunately, the weather could not have been divinely intervened.
Now, amidst the torrential rain, thunder clapped about them every so often, beckoning them to awaken and arise off the rich soil like the occasional toll of a bell. In the distance, vague yells of panic could be heard; calls of desperate plea barely drowned by the rain, pleading through the storm and to the trees...

Re: ~Armonia Chronicles~ ::Feign of Paradise::
The last thing she remembered was being swallowed by some sort of malevolent power, unknown to her and her world. It was like the whole of her world just collapsed around her and disappeared, leaving her weightless and unconscious. All of her training up to this day could not have prepared her for this. While in the darkness, she felt a consuming light swallow her body and a massive force pulled her down. It was down she was headed...right? Not up or to the sides? Either way, the pressure slowly faded, and she could feel her consciousness returning to her.
A flash of light crossed her closed eyes, startling her into wakefulness. She feared the same force coming to take her away, but the light disappeared as quickly as it came. It was only lightning. Yes, she could hear the roar of the thunder and the downpour of rain. She opened her eyes tentatively, bringing her hands up to push herself off the ground. Her clothes were soaking wet, and her long, black hair was soaking up enough water to feed a garden for a hundred years. Despite the weight of her wet hair, she managed to get into a standing position, though faltered on her feet when a sharp pain exploded through her head.
When she could finally take a look at her surroundings, she saw only a forest. No, a jungle? Wherever she was, it definitely was not in her gym. She tried to remember...no, the pain was too much. It made her head hurt to think at this point. Instead, she spotted a small stick that looked familiar. Her wooden training sword was here too. She managed to acquire her makeshift weapon and use it as a sort of cane to help her stand.
Where...am I? She wondered.

Her head hurt.
A lot.
That's all that registered in Tara's world, which recently had become a spiral of black nothingness. No sense of direction. Just blackness. And it could not have come at at worse time. She had been in the middle of a rather important mission–her allies were counting on her. She had volunteered to explore the alternate path alone and now she was here. In the darkness. With a headache and clearly ambushed. Someone must have knocked her out.
But then there was the lightning–a flash which forced her awake and thunder followed shortly. At that point a second fact registered in her mind. She was not where she had been previously. The heck? she thought to herself, looking around warily. There were others here, seemingly in the same position as her. Were they in the catacombs too? No. She didn't recognize any of these people.
"Joy..."

Re: ~Armonia Chronicles~ ::Feign of Paradise::
She had been taken from the chapel, whisked away by a divine pillar of light in the middle of her prayers. The gods were calling out to her. They must have summoned her, their most devout follower, because they needed something. However the location she was transported to was far from what she expected the realm of the gods to look like. Within a moment of her arrival she had been drenched by the rain pouring down and there were voices. However those voices did not sound like it belonged to a being of a higher existence but rather voices in pain. This definitely wasn't the gods' domain that she was told of, so then where was this place? She then noticed other people, they were complete strangers as she had never once seen them in the chapel. Who were these people and what is this place?
