Judex starts in F-1

It appeared confrontation could not be averted; several of the villagers were already being made prey of the undead. Out of all the places to retreat to, an alleyway was among the worst - the narrow design would only slow and funnel traffic directly to the creatures. It was a mistake to follow the panicked masses like a herd of sheep, however this did not mean that Judex would have to succumb to a state of helplessness. The appearance of the reanimated was more of annoyance than anything else, and if they wanted a meal, then they would have to work for it.

Judex opened his palm, and from a spark of golden light, a long knife materialized in his hand. Trapped amongst the decrepit and the decayed, he prepared himself for an uneasy bout. It was uncertain how these fiends had made their way into the town, but the time to question such a matter could come later. At a first glance, there was only four of these creatures - but such a case would be up to fate's caprice whether or not it would remain that way. He pointed his knife threateningly at the monsters, establishing his intent.

A Crack in the Sky - Page 2 Empty Re: A Crack in the Sky

Lavotte watched as the terrible scene in the town was unfolding. The Angels were wreaking their wrath amongst the townspeople, slaying them left and right. The spawn of the divine beings were crawling about with little sense of their own, as if they were acting on primal instinct alone. How disgusting. While he couldn't think of a proper way to leave this now trapped alleyway that he had followed the throng of people into, he knew that he couldn't sit by and do nothing, lest he be swallowed by the creatures. That certainly wouldn't be a way that would be acceptable to go, now would it?

"Hesed, our bastion of forgiveness, why hast thou chosen to forsake us?" Lavotte was solemn as he readied his buckler and mace, pointing the latter towards the southern way out, being blocked by two of the hideous things. They needed to die so he could live; it was as simple as that. There seemed to be a beam of light amidst the dark alleyway out of the right corner of his eye, but Lavotte did not turn to look. He was only focusing on survival - anything else and his will would have faltered.

[Lavotte starts in F3!]
