It's a 50% chance that it will work. But yes, Naomi, Masu, and Jare could have been transmuted. Crystal cannot, seeing as she has 'boss' status for certain reasons.

Jare will return to normal at the end of the battle though. You can't transmute a demon for more than a little while. They'll just break the spell and return to Hell to regain all their powers. x3

That's how it has always worked...but if we do transmute him, do we still get to keep the item when the battle is over?

Always having it work when the enemy is below 50% health is too god-mode. >>

Something has 100 health, you get it down to 49 through like....7 turns of torture and transmute it to a bar of gold, ending the battle.

That has 'gay' written all over it. >>

Also, since you need to be in an Adjacent cell, you would be poisoned by the flames. And if it doesn't work, you die.

Edit: And no you don't get to keep the freaking item. If you had read my post, you would understand that Kuori.

That's how it has always worked...but if we do transmute him, do we still get to keep the item when the battle is over?

Transmute works this way:

100% Chance - Normal Enemy
50% Chance - Half/Sub/Mini/Whatever Boss (Jasu, in this case)
0% Chance - Boss (Crystal)

Well, seeing as how Ein has a nearly unlimited amount of MP thanks to the good ol' mountains, if Transmute fails once, he'll try it again.

Actually, Nina's Heaven's Strike would be enough, and Ein could make his way over to Crystal.

Try a definite kill, instead of a possible kill, then it would be 3-1, and Crystal won't be able to do much more damage.

Also, there is a 1% chance Masq's Transmutation will give him a stick, sand, leaf, or the cure to 35. XDDDD

Someone just needs to basic attack or use a low MP A-Ability on Jare to kill him; Nina, save your Awakening for Crystal.....if we need it. ^ ^

Yes...and Heaven's Strike will do exactly 1 Dmg to Jare with 110% ATK Dmg and Nina's ATK of 8...^^
