"You know, I had expected something. . . . more," Ryas admitted as she bent down to dig through the now fried corpse. She quickly found what she was looking for and smirked, slipping the Life Crystal back into her pocket. "Wonder what's next?"

"Next, we learn some of the truth," Tenkai answered, cleaning her claws with a white handkerchief.

"By the way, what did you find in those chests?" the Witch inquired, remembering about the items the Dark Assassin and Wind Advent had acquired. Tenkai just threw something at her. Ryas snatched it out of the air. examining it. She smirked. "Nice. This will come in handy."

Tenkai just shook her head.

"Ariana..."

Clara was by the doorway, she couldn't imagine why her sister would run away on her. But maybe this was for the better, maybe Ariana wasn't meant to go on this journey. She left the doorway and joined the group, trying to put on a smile, even if it was a weak one.

"I say we find the le-"

"Excuse me... I'm sorry for intruding, but I heard this young girl grumbling about the mansion...I came to investigate..."

Clara turned to see the person who had interupted her. She tried to keep her smile as she greeted the newcomer.

"It's fine, we're sort of on our own investigation..."

"Well if you are, may I join you? I think were bound to find more info if we work together..."

Clara looked to Trinity, this wasn't her journey, it was Trinity's. It was up to Trinity as to whether or not this stranger could come.

Trinity's eyes were glued to the staircase. Just a quick ascent, and all would be revealed. However, her ravaging thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of someone new. Trinity made her keyblade disappear. "So, this is a keyblade?" She remembered the way those words had tasted in her mouth, and they tasted sweet. For some reason, now that she knew the weapon's name, she felt a warmth in her heart every time she wielded it.

Trinity turned to the new girl and smiled slightly, though the anxiety refused to disappear completely. "I see no problem in you joining us, seeing as how one of our prior allies abandoned us in the heat of battle." She turned back to the staircase. "My name is Trinity Heart, and this is my friend Kazega," she said and pointed to the girl with the fans who was standing by some rubble.

"A newbie?" Ryas looked the new girl up and down, an eyebrow raised. After a moment, she snorted, shrugging. "As long as you aren't like that other one, I don't really care." Tenkai inclined her head at the new girl in a way of greeting before slipping on her new claws.

"Anyway, introductions," the Witch grumbled under her breath at this before continuing. "Name's Ryas Noa. That's Tenkai, no last name. Just don't get in the way and we'll get along fine." Ryas then narrowed her eyes. "What exactly do you do, anyway?"

"Oh where are my manners? I'm Christina Marie Osborne... but you can call me Chris."

Clara smiled at Chris, was this fate? Was she supposed to replace Ariana? She could only guess so, she joined Chris and looked towards the others.

"I'm Clara, the girl you met must have been my sister, Ariana..."

"Oh yes, she did say something about a Clara... I don't think your anything like how she described..."

"oh... I..."

"Forget I mentioned it..."

Chris had a smile on her face, but it only hid her thought process. She was wondering what the group was doing in this mansion, and what was Trinity holding before she spoke. The question about what she actually did came up.

"Well, it's rather simple really... I control the Psychic Energies in the world... like so..."

Aura seemed to spring to life from her cloth arms. The aura was beautiful, the colors changing in a mysterious way. Suddenly it disappeared and she gave the witch a small smile.

"Does that clear it up for you?"

Ryas twitched. She sent a look at Tenkai who looked highly amused. Seeing the look, the Dark Assassin smirked. Ryas glared.

"That's great," Ryas suddenly snapped, looking back at the Psychic. "Cool. Awesome. Just keep away from me." The Witch took one step back, sending the Psychic a warning look.

"Welcome to the group," Tenkai said simply, still amused. "Don't mind, Ryas. She's quite nice once you get to know her."

"Oi, oi. Don't start giving her the wrong idea," Ryas snapped, eyes blazing. Tenkai chuckled.

A crash came from up above along with the clanking of metal. The mansion shook slightly. Something was going on up on the second floor. Fragments of shouting could be heard:

"So, you .... you can .... me down? Ha! ... if you ... strong enough...." The voice sounded very harsh and belonged to a female.

"I ... have ... be .... enough. .... light ... take ... down ... I ... not!" This voice was kind of....weird. But it definitely belonged to a male.

Trinity dashed towards the staircase. "There's no time! We have to go!" With that, she ascended the staircase with Kazega at her heels.

"Alright, alright!" Ryas snapped, quickly dashing off after the two. "Hold yours horses, we're coming!" Tenkai shook her head before looking back at the other two.

"Better hurry or else we'll be left behind," she said before suddenly disappearing, her speed allowing her to move ahead of the others.

Clara had already started following the others, her Organ disappearing with her Tree. She ran up the stairs, thinking that the one voice must have been the king.

What kind of king leaves his kingdom to mess with a bunch of thieves?

Clara shook the thought from her mind, and followed the others into the room.

Chris nodded, simply jumping from her current position and landing at the top of the stairs. She loved her ability, it made travel so much easier. She followed the others into the next room.

The scene that was revealed before the party was one of ruin. The room they entered had myriad furniture, though all of it had been scorched or frozen. There were scorch marks all over the room: the floor, the walls, the ceiling. On one side of the room stood a thief, obviously, with grayish-blonde hair that went down to the middle of her back. Her blue eyes gazed at someone on the other side of the room. She had three Soldier Heartless in front of her which made her pale, ghostly skin stand out even more. The person on the other side of the room was kneeling on one knee panting heavily. He...had two large black ears and was wearing a strange, black robe that had a tail sticking out from under it. When he lifted his face, it turned out that he was a mouse.

Hurriedly, the party chose his side over the girl with the Heartless. Trinity summoned her keyblade. "So, you must be the one who is creating all of this mess!" Trinity shouted. Her eyes were fierce with unknowable anger.

The girl yawned. "I was informed that we had guests in our humble abode. I'm guessing that Lios failed to finish you off like he said he would. Oh well." She pointed her dagger at Trinity. "You're in the way of a very important moment in the history of the universe. Once this fellow is dead, all will be for Drakna's taking." She took a moment to laugh.

"Don't mock us!! If he is so important, we will protect him until the end! I have allies to help me through this and all you have are...are....Heartless," she managed to stumble out in her rage.

The mouse thing behind her managed to look up and see the keyblade. "Alidaire's keyblade wielder," he spoke weakly.

Trinity turned around and knelt down, putting a hand on the mouse's shoulders. "That would be me, and I will carry the title of keyblade wielder with pride as long as I continue to be able to take the likes of her down."

The mouse laughed. "You should...carry that title....with pride. You have a light that the Heartless wish to extinguish, but they can't; it's too strong. Use...that light...to vanquish...your foes." His head dropped again.

Trinity stood back. "You hear that? With this light, I will destroy you!!" She held up her keyblade and prepared for battle.

"Oh look, it's the Heartless this time," Ryas scowled, crossing her arms. "Alright, miss lazyass. I suggest you go with one or the other. You keep this up and people will think you're an idiot who can't make up their mind." She winced. "And goddamnit, not again with the banshee laughs. And who the hell is this Drakna dude? Your bondage mas-"

"Ryas, why don't you focus your attention on the Heartless?" Tenkai suggested, cutting the Witch off. "They don't seem to have much defense against magic."

"Yeah, sure, alright," Ryas grumbled. "And why did you cut me off? I mean, she looks like a slut, so I just assumed-"

"Just leave this to us," the Dark Assassin said to the mouse, once again cutting the Witch off. Ryas scowled.

Clara starts in A9!

Clara wasted no time, she was in her corner, her Organ waiting for her. She sat down and warmed up quickly, the notes echoing like before.

"Your not leaving here!"

She played a few more notes that sounded through the room. The sound continued to echo long after the Organ had stopped.

Chris starts in E8!

Seeing the mouse, hurt and forced into a weak position, Chris ran to his aid. Keyblade weilder, that title seemed oddly familiar to her, but she knew she had never heard of it before. She readied her Psychic Energies and was ready for the fight. She would protect this King, and Trinity, to her dieing breath.

Though her sights were set upon the thief, Trinity knew that the Heartless would become a hassle if they were left to wreak havoc on the party. Thus, she endeavored to take them out first.

Kazega starts at B8.

Kazega separated herself from Trinity and decided to tackle the other side of the Heartless trio. There was no telling what that thief was capable of, but there was only one way to find out.

Chris watched her enemies on the other side of the room. Little did they know they were in Danger the minute she got in front of the king. She closed her eyes and focused on herself and the Psychic Energies. Suddenly a burst of energy shot at the one heartless.

Clara set out to playing her first tune for the battle. She knew her friends would be tired of it by now, but she required the protection. She played quickly yet gracefully. When she finished, a huge tree sprung up from below, somehow not creating a hole in the floor.

"Don't do anything suicidal, Tenkai," Ryas warned as she moved forward, closer to the Heartless. "I don't want to have to save your ass." As she said this, a ball of water began to form above the nearest Heartless. Suddenly, it dropped, hitting the creature rather hard on the head.

[Ryas] casts Water on [Gorlop]! [50%] Water INT DMG and chance of Wet.

"What, no appreciation for before?" Tenkai asked, referring to when she saved the other from bleeding to death. Ryas just scoffed, crossing her arms. Tenkai just smirked and made her way closer to the enemies, claws ablaze.

Tenkai wasn't stupid. She knew if she moved her full distance, she would be attacked by probably all four of their enemies. For now, it seemed best to try and lure them over. Even, there top priority was to protect the mouse.

"Alright, slut! Show us what you've got!" Ryas shouted at the Master Thief.

With the force of her anger driving her, Trinity rushed forward and hurled a fireball at the helmed Heartless. It nailed him right in the chest causing him to tumble backwards a bit, though it managed to keep its balance.

Kazega moves to B4.

Targeting the nearest Heartless, Kazega waved her fan causing a shredding gale to fly at it leaving the Heartless with myriad cuts and slashes on its body.

The master thief smirked. "Shout your insults and other nonsense. I have one target in mind. And with all that talk about protecting the pitiful fool, you sure are not doing a great job of it." She laughed again. Suddenly, she raised a hand and moved it diagonally. A fairly big block of ice came out of nowhere and struck the mouse fellow directly in the side of the head. But just as quick, another one came out of nowhere and smashed into the other side of his head. Then two more came out of the ground and crashed into his body. The last block fell directly on top of his head from above.

Kalaya uses Blizzard Combo on King Mickey! 5 hits! 11 Ice Dmg per hit! (INT)

Gorlop leapt into the air and began spinning with its leg out. When it got close enough to Trinity, it delivered kick after kick after kick to her face. After it was done, it leapt back, but the confusion from the attack left it reluctant to move.

Trinity took the hit with ease, but became disgruntled when she heard Kalaya's comment. She turned in time to watch her pound the mouse with myriad blocks of ice. "Stop right there! If you wanted to be decimated, then you should have asked!" She rushed behind the thief and lunged through her with her keyblade. Again. Again. And again. She knew it wouldn't be too effective, but she had to do something.

Sharing in Trinity's endeavor, Kazega wished desperately to assault the thief, but she knew she was too weak. Thus, she fought to rid the battlefield of the Heartless.

"That was quite cruel of you," Tenkai noted, watching the thief attack the mouse. She glanced over at Ryas, catching her eye. The Witch scowled, realizing what this meant. The Dark Assassin quickly made her way over to the Master Thief, appearing before her.

[Tenkai] moves to [E-7].

Claws flashing in the dim light, Tenkai struck the woman, aiming for her pressure point with the intent of disabling the woman.

[Tenkai] uses Pressure Point on [Kalaya]! [70%] ATK DMG, chance of disable and added effect: Burn!

"Damn it!" Ryas cursed, rushing over to the mouse. "Why do I have to be on healing duty?"

Hand glowing, she focused on the mouse, green sparkles instantly appearing. They sprinkled themselves over the wounded King, healing most of his wounds.

Chris noticed her attack hadn't done much but ignored it. She reached into her pocket and pulled out an empty grenade shell. Levitating it in front of her, Chris filled it with the Psychic Energies. As soon as it was corked it flew towards the thief. It exploded on impact.

Clara noticed the Thief and her lackies were causing quite a bit of Damage. Rather than healing the mouse, she was going to spite the thief.

"You won't hurt him anymore!"

Suddenly she played a tune very familiar and the notes wrapped around the enemies. Clara could feel the energy being taken from her foes, the notes carrying it back to her.

Chris took the blow from the creature, knowing she wouldn't survive another one. She ran from the heat of the battle, escaping towards the Organist. She stopped in front of the tree, taking out a potion. She knew the others wouldn't be too happy about her wasting items, but she had to stay up.

Clara smiled at the Psychic and started playing the same tune as before. She knew if she could rid the thief of her abilities, the battle would be a breeze. She slowly played the tune, hoping to get each not perfect. As the song came to an end the enemies felt the effects.

Tenkai smirked. "I think we're doing pretty good job with protecting His Majesty. Don't you agree?" She glanced back at the mouse, eye glowing eerily. "Take as much as you'd like. Now that the nuisance has been disabled, you don't need to rush."

[Tenkai] moves to [E-4].

"I must say, your mobility is quite impressive," Tenkai complimented when she realized there was no way for her to reach the woman. "I wonder how long you can last." She suddenly drew back and in a flash, the Shadow in front of her was struck five times.

[Tenkai] uses Fury on [Gorlop]! [100%] ATK DMG for each hit. Added Effect: Burn.

"You can run but you can't hide!" Ryas taunted, amused. "Nice job with the Disable, Tenkai!" She then surveyed the area. There were no enemies within her range but Kazega seemed to be injured pretty badly. The Witch frowned. She really was on healing duty, wasn't she?

"Holy crap, Tenkai!" Ryas shouted, mouth agape. "Did you just take all three of those hits? And you're STILL standing?!" The Dark Assassin blinked, looking back at the Witch.

"Yeah," she answered simply. "I won't be able to take much more though. I think I got lucky." She seemed thoughtful for a moment before becoming a blur.

[Tenkai] activates her S-Ability: Agility! Tenkai will dodge all hits for two turns.

"You're lucky you still have that as a last resort," Ryas snapped, a hand raised toward Kazega. the Wind Advent had been lucky she had healed her just before the last attack, else she would be unconscious right now. "And no problem, Mousy. Just make sure to answer all our questions when this is over."

Chris knew she had to help finish off the nearby shadow any way she could. She reached into her bag and pulled out another bomb core shell. It levitated and quickly filled with the Psychic Energy. A short hurl and it blew up right on the foe.
