Today, I learned that/received this trivia:

"The whole nine yards" refers to the string of bullets used with airplane-mounted guns during World War I, which were 27 feet (9 yards) long.

This is obviously now the most badass expression ever.

TIL that I may not be able to get an internship for my last semester. I need 30 hours after this semester, and right now I have 15 hours planned for next semester. It's unfortunate, but I can't do a 9 credit-hour internship. I might pull off a 3 credit one though. It really depends.

Today I learn never to ask a "spit or swallow" question on truth or dare. Things can only go downhill from there.

Today, I learned that if I sleep for 3 hours, I'm wide awake for almost 20.

But if I sleep for 12 hours, I'm so tired I go back to bed within 20 minutes.

Today, I learned that time is more precious than I previously thought. I used to waste it, but now I can't even see where it goes. Thanks, Obama
