Ryu twirled her lance around, she understood why there would be earthorms here, but crabs? Why crabs? She hoped that she wouldn't waste any time with these things, she wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible.

Cage let his cards drop slightly before they lifted up. He didn't reach for the photo, he didn't want to see it again, not in its state. Looking over the creatures, he decided it would be best for him to attack from afar, and that the fairy would be his best target.

The sudden appearance of all the creatures at once startled Roger and he quickly drew his greatsword. His arm was shaking but he couldn't let them get an attack in. He didn't want to feel pain again. A yell escaped his mouth suddenly and he rushed forward, instantly stabbing one of the large earthworms before flipping over it and stabbing it in the back while the two standard copies stabbed the monster in the sides. "Y-you c-can't hurt us," he muttered as he flipped back over the creature, the end of his greatsword landing heavily on the ground.

Duke moves to H5

Cheerfully, Duke skipped forward to face the earthworm. His happy grin turned into a a evil one the instant his foot touched the ground.
"Swing ankle! First hit! Oyrraaa!" he cried as he swung his free leg around and smashed it into the worms body. He used that leg as a pivot and swung the other around.
"Second hit! Hiyaaa!" he roared, bring the other leg down hard on the worms head. He leapt back with a concerned face. "Oh! So sorry! Are you ok?" The concern fell and was replaced with the evil grin. "That attack was supposed to kill you."

Cage clicked his fingers quickly, his cards rushing at the fairy and slashing at it quickly. As they returned, he sighed, Raising his hand having the cards prepare for another assualt. Noticing a bag, he pointed at it, hoping someone would havethe sense to grab it.

The worm reacted fast to Roger's assault, but it may have been a bit too hasty. It started flopping around and eventually, it launched itself at Roger...at least, it thought it did. Instead, it hit the wall. Epic fail.

The monster crab scuttled over to Ryu and clamped her around the torso tightly, threatening to cut her in half. But luckily, it relaxed its grip, the target's armor too sturdy to keep a good hold.

Foamy decided to join its pal in assaulting the chick with the lance. It, too, tried to grasp the girl tightly around the torso with its massive claw, but to no avail.

"Thanks Miss Eva," Duke smiled pleasantly. He then ran over to the crab that was pestering Ryu-chan. He slid to a halt, and attacked.
"You! Get away!" he roared, stomping o one of the beast's multi-jointed legs. He then kicked hard into the creature under belly as it reared up, yelling; "I am the only one allowed to harass Ryu-chan!"

Though Bubbles was most certainly not the most intelligent creature, it had been fighting long enough to know how to go after weakened enemies. Right now, the lance girl was its target and would remain so until either it or she was dead.

The fairy did a small aerial backflip, clearly excited that her battle plans were working. Crabs weren't the easiest to work with, but they were doing pretty good.

Seeing Ryu in trouble, Roger dashed over to help out. He hefted his greatsword above his head, almost losing balance in the process, before bringing it down hard on the monster. However, he tumbled to the ground as the force from his greatsword hitting the shell knocked him away. The crab seemed perfectly fine. That shell was very troublesome. And it scared him. Not being able to hurt it....it caused the shivers to crawl back up and down his spine.

Bag or attack, bag or attack, bag or attack, Duke contemplated. Miss Eva can take care of himself, Ryu-chan has Roger helping her and Cage is still around. So bag. Duke nodded and sprinted of to retrieve the bag, wondering what goodies could be inside.

Even though the creature's shell was beginning to crack and its body was growing weary, it still scuttled after its weakened target. As soon as it got close enough, it smashed a huge claw into the lance girl.

With its enemy already trapped, Foamy decided to wail on him. One claw was still gripping Evan tightly, so it used its other claw to smack Evan in the face. It produced much more foam in excitement, though it was sad to see its leader gone.

"All the monsters....t-they're almost g-gone," Roger mumbled to himself. "A-almost g-gone. A-all the m-monsters..." He suddenly rushed up to the crab attacking Ryu and delivered a powerful thrust to the monster's disgusting face. Following the thrust, Roger flipped over the crab and jammed his greatsword into the back of the creature while his two copies rushed in on both sides of the crab to impale it again. As Roger landed back in front of the crab, its shell broke and it crumpled to the ground.

Duke hastily rummaged in his pack and pulled out the potion bottle. Concerned for his friends health and a bit worried about what else the crab would do, he opened it and forced poured it into Evan's mouth. "Hold still and drink up," Duke instructed as he did.

That done, Duke continued his mission to retrieve the bag that was somewhat crammed in the corner, eager to find out what it contained.

When they rolled to a final stop, his cards launched themselves at the Crab. Slashing a few times before he called them back to his side.

Roger's sword arm gave way and his the heavy blade clattered on the ground. He was breathing hard and shaking severely. It was strange that he was the assassin of the queen, yet he had such a hard time handling battle. Roger had always been aware of his fragile body, and not even years of isolation had toughened him up. Perhaps he was doomed to be this way forever.
