"Be careful, Rosetta!" The priest called out as he quickly unsheathed his kris, which began to radiate icy blue energy. The energy emitted from the kris then slowly began to hover into Czeslaw's palm, only to be forced out by the palm's forward movement seconds later. The icy mist then found itself healing Rosetta's wounds within seconds.

Valincar sighed as the beast fell to the ground, never to rise again. It seemed Sonia had survived after all, and he was glad. But Shadow was not so lucky. "Thanks, Lily. I am all right, but Shadow didn't quite make it. We should probably do something about that." If they were to find a way to help the others, they would need his help. From a pouch at his side, he brought out a small white crystal and touched it to Shadow's forehead. Light surged into Shadow's body and infused him with life mana.

Continuing to support his allies, Czeslaw once again mended the wounds that the bear had inflicted. Although the priest couldn't completely remove the injuries, they were definitely lightened. The injuries were slowly becoming harder to heal; if this battle were to go on for much longer, the result would be fatal.

Sonia smiled at the others, a bloody gash on the side of her face where the bear had attacked her. She lost the smile and fell to the ground, looking up at Lily.

She gave them a weak smile and slowly got to her feet, using her staff as a cane.

Lily frowned for a second, "I don't see how we can get to the others in time to help them. By the time we get there, they would probably be finished." She said. Lily watched Valincar use a Life Crystal on Shadow and she stepped forward, "Here, let me help."

Lily clasped her hands together and closed her eyes, murmuring softly to herself. A white light spread from her body and covered everyone around her. When she opened her eyes, the light went away and both Sonia and Shadow looked much better than before.

Lily casts Prayer on All Allies! Everyone recovers 1/4 of their HP!

Guarding the blow as best she could, Rosetta forced the bear away from her, gritting her teeth at the pain. Thanks to Czeslaw healing, however, the damage lessened to a bearable degree. Readying herself once more, she narrowed her eyes.

[Rosetta] uses Swarmstrike on [Rizzo]. 9 ATK DMG and chance of poison.
[Rosetta]'s S-Ability: Bee Sting activates. If the effect of poison hits successfully while the target is already poisoned, they shall sustain [40%] greater damage from poison for the rest of its duration.

Zero pointed her dagger toward the bear and the area darkened again like many times before. For a while, all was silent, as if everyone and everything were still. And everything stayed silent until the shadows lifted. While Zero was still invisible, the small cuts she had made on Rizzo were now large, deep gashes.

Zero instantly noticed that the bear was becoming pissed and had left a huge gap in its defenses. Remembering what she learned from her brother, Zero took this opportunity to chase down and strike the bear on the neck, making another extremely deep gash.

Lily sighed and dropped to the ground, careful not to injure her bum. "I'm beat." she breathed, tossing her hair back as she lay against the tree behind her. Her mind drifted back to the Antigo Ruins and the treasure she had gotten from there. Come to think of it, Lily couldn't read what was written in the book, and she had yet to tell everyone else about it.

Lily almost reached inside her vest to grab the book when she noticed Sonia walking over to her. Lily smiled as the Summoner thanked her. "It's no problem Sonia." Lily replied, her hand pausing over her chest, wondering if she should take the book out.

She decided against it and lowered her hand. Lily wanted to ask Valincar about it first. He was old, maybe there was something he knew about it that he might be able to tell her. Lily smiled again, "Have a seat, the others should be headed back by now, but it still might take them quite a bit of time."

Seeing that the bear had gone on a rampage, and Xeno had no need for healing, Czeslaw took this time to prepare an attack. Once the attack had been prepared, the priest launched an orb of frozen mana at the foe, exploding upon contact.

Shrugging off the attack like it was nothing, Rosetta watched as the bear became enraged. Seeing it's fury, Rosetta pointed her rapier at the bear. Mist gathered, a hawk's cry was heard and instantly, it struck, piercing through the bear's defenses.

Upon seeing the group back from their mission, K approached. "I am glad to see you all back and safe, and I thank you greatly for your contribution to the guild. Unfortunately, the most dangerous task lies ahead of you with the investigation of the Soul Laboratory. We have discovered that, just prior to the lab's lockdown, the head scientist there has been conspiring with some Quick Claws, warriors unique to the guild Death's Grasp. What ties the Soul Lab, Death's Grasp, and Escuridao Pulsante remains a mystery, but we must find out." With that he sighed. "I leave this in your capable hands." He briskly walked off to attend to more guild business.

Sonia sells Summoner's Robes

Sonia walked up to the armor shop quietly, a small sum of the party's gold in hand. She pointed to the robes, her hand shaking slightly, she hadn't totally shaken off the shock of the battle. The man got the robes for her and she handed him the money. She then slipped into another part of the shop and changed into the new robes.

Money Left: 6110

Sonia turned around to leave when a man with brown hair with white streaks dressed in black clothing came up to her.

"Hello Sonia, I see you've joined a group."

"Ye... Yes Cage, They tried to pr-"

"I heard the whole story, oh yes, you have a letter from Nina."

"Oh..."

Sonia took the letter from her brother, opening it and reading what little was on it. Nina had found something, she wanted to give it to her, but she couldn't leave mom and dad for a bit. When she could, she would come and give it to K. She put the letter in her bag with a smile.

"Thanks Ca-"

But when she looked up, Cage had left, somehow gone without being seen. She figured he had done this several other times, with many people. He had gotten quite good at it, she remembered when he was younger, he tried to do that and he couldn't quite disappear without making a sound.

"Thanks Cage..."

Glad to be back in town, Czeslaw began to wander the markets once more. He took in a deep breath, and then let it all out in one, large sigh. He was excited, all of that fighting was quite the workout.

Czeslaw slowly began to examine the stores to see if they had anything that interested him, Item shop... No, nothing... His eyes widened at the sigh of a girl with long, silky, blond hair dressed in a white robe that was currently bartering with the weapon's merchant.

Oh Lord. No way! It's impossible! Completely and utterly impossible! He panicked, shaking his head left and right as a small streak of sweat ran down his left cheek. Why is SHE here?!

The girl turned around, only to see dearest Czeslaw staring at her. The girl shouted at the top of her lungs and quickly sprinted towards the priest, "Czes! You've grown so much!" She complimented.

"H-Hey there, Pure." He responded without a hint of interest, failing to lower the girl's self esteem.

"Your even taller than me now! Haha!" She laughed, brushing her hair back a little, "I wonder how Daddy and Mommy are doing back up in Glaciar..."

"I just wrote them a letter a few seconds ago, I think they're fine."

"That's good."

"Well, I better get running now, my party is probably leaving in a few minutes." Czeslaw slowly began to walk away from the girl.

"Bye, Czes!" She waved back and turned away from him, walking out of sight.

Yeah, she's cute and all... But she's my sister... and she's so damn annoying!

He quickly slammed down some cash onto the Armor Merchant's stand and pointed at the robes he wished to buy.

Attracted by the design of the clothing, Lily immediately set some gold down on the counter and asked for the vest. The clerk obliged and handed it over, while Lily quickly changed into the new vest in the secrecy of another room, then going back in and placing her old vest on the table. She took the money the clerk paid for her old vest and sighed happily, walking out of the shop without another word.

Lily walked down the city of Visterre, her bow safely concealed in it's wooden case, hanging from her back. She needed not to fear danger here, it was a rather friendly city.

Lily's mind drifted back to her last visit. Aster had been there to see her at that time. She enjoyed the time he spent with her, but it was over before she could protest. Lily sighed, if only he were here now, then she could have someone to talk to, to share her experiences with.

Lily, without really meaning to, reached into her vest and pulled out the book from the Antigo Ruins. The dust that had accumulated on the book was nearly gone, seeing as it had been tucked under Lily's vest, which agitated the cover little by little. She opened the book to the first page and stared at the characters inscribed on it.

Lily paused for a second before groaning, "Nope, can't read a word." She said aloud, closing the book.

Making her way toward the Armor Shop now that all that was done and over with, Rosetta suddenly stopped. She stared straight ahead of her, eyes dilating in surprise.

"Brother?"

"Wha-sis?!" the two men in front of her spun around, one of them gaping. Rosetta continued to stare at them before slowly making her way over to the two. The man who had exclaimed quickly recovered from his shock, smiling widely. That instantly disappeared, however, upon him catching sight of her clothing. "What are you wearing?"

"Why are you two here?" the Fencer inquired softly, tilting her head questioningly and effectively dodging the question. Evan and Daskar were supposed to have sailed off to another continent. She hadn't been able to go along due to. . . . problems. Evan exchanged a look with Daskar before turning red and looking off to the side.

"Eh, no reason," her brother said and Rosetta looked at Daskar. The two seemed to exchange a silent conversation before Rosetta nodded in understanding and turned back to her brother.

"I told you not to worry about me," she reminded, reaching a hand out to touch his cheek. "I am fine. Were you not the one who wished to explore?" Rosetta lowered her hand. "I have hindered you enough already. Have fun." Evan looked surprised before sending a glare at his silver haired companion.

"Damn it, Daskar!" he snapped, though there was no malice present in his voice. Daskar just tilted his head at the other, the corner of his lips curved upward. Evan instantly flushed and turned back to his sister, grabbing hold of her hand. "I can't help but worry. I've never been separated from you before." Rosetta nodded, understanding his sentiment. Ever since they were children, they had always been together.

"But now you have Daskar with you," she reminded, free hand indicating the Soul Reaper. "Are you two not en-"

"No!" Evan quickly denied before his twin could finish her sentence, cheeks burning as he released her hand. He backed up a bit, spluttering. "He-I-We, no!" Rosetta once again exchanged a look with Daskar, the two emitting an aura of amusement. Evan glared at Daskar.

"Well then, you two have fun," Rosetta said softly, moving away. "I have work to do. Stay safe." With that said, she waved before turning on her heel and walking away. She could hear her brother calling after her but that was suddenly muffled. She had no doubt the Soul Reaper had done something shut her twin up.

Entering the armor shop, the Fencer took a moment to browse before purchasing a rather eye-catching set of clothes. They were perfect for her. Rosetta quickly went into the dressing room, changing out of her old clothing and into her new one. Much better. Not to mention, it now covered most of her skin.

Czeslaw, now taking a quick walk along the quieter side of the town, quickly spotted Lily nearby. He hesitantly approached her, but he eventually mustered up enough courage to ask her what she was looking at.

"Is that a book you have there?" He curiously asked.

Lily jumped in surprise, not expecting anyone to come up behind her. She turned her head around to look at Czes, blinking at him. She paused for a second, wondering if she should tell him. Bah...he knows it's a book, so I might as well... Lily thought to herself, turning her body around to face him.

"Yeah, I got it back in the Antigo Ruins, you know, right before we left?" Lily explained still holding onto the book. "It's written in some weird language, I can't understand it." Lily looked down at the book in her hands and sighed, handing it over to Czes so that he could inspect it.

As Lily handed the book over to Czeslaw, a puzzled look came across his face, "What the hell is this gibberish?" He asked in contemplation, showing a tinge of frustration as well.

"This language is so foreign it's probably dead, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to search for some elder man or woman that might be able to translate such a dialect."
