Personality: Hannah is a well-mannered little girl with an extremely polite attitude towards others, especially if they are older than her. In terms of Muggle schools, Hannah is quite the remarkable student, although she dislikes drawing too much attention to herself. However, in terms of magic, Hannah is clueless about everything. She has to study hard to keep her grades up. Hannah can be patient and kind, always worrying about others before herself. She also tends to begin the relationships with strangers, she just cannot help herself when she sees someone sitting alone. To her, being alone is like being dead. Hanna is sensitive to the feelings of others, although she does not mind being taunted by others. Hannah is athletic, a constant studier, a very talented musician, and on top of all that, she has a great mind...although it isn't used very well.

Hannah enjoys the company of other people, and can't stand it when she feels alone or singled out. Another reason why she hates being the center of attention. The only exception to this feeling is when she is playing her music. At that time, Hannah is focused only on her guitar and her singing, nothing else.

Biography/History: Born into a family of seven, Hannah being the youngest, she did not receive as much attention as she wanted. However, her strange circumstances allowed her to become polite and regret-free. Around her ninth birthday, strange things began to occur around her, things that Hannah could not explain. Her hands would often change size, although the change was barely noticeable by others, Hanna could see the difference. Something was wrong with her body. Soon after the magic awakened in her body, Hannah realized that she could make apples fall out of a tree without even touching it.

Her parents refused to believe that Hannah could do all these things, but Hannah knew that she was something special. She finally had something that her other siblings did not. She was able to separate herself from the group and become an individual.

On April 12th, Hannah turned 11. On this very same day, a letter flew through the window and landed right on her breakfast. Surprised, she didn't touch the letter until she saw that it was addressed to her. Upon opening it, Hanna became even more confused. A school named Hogwarts had extended an invitation to her to go and learn how to hone her magical powers as a witch. Hannah threw the letter away, believing it to be a prank from a neighbourhood enemy, no matter how neat and detailed it was.

Eventually, however, a man appeared on their doorstep, requesting to see Hannah. He introduced himself as Jake Stonewell, an employee of the Ministry of Magic. He was offering to take Hannah to her train to depart for Hogwarts. After excessive questioning and doubts, Hannah came to realize that she really was a witch, and so she decided to trust the mysterious wizard in front of her and left for Hogwarts.

First, of course, they needed to visit Diagon Alley, but Hannah didn't know that until they arrived.

Appearance:

Personality: A good way to describe Jared would be as sneaky. He has his mothers fondness for charming items and uses tis as a way to get past his trace. He is good at charms, having read some of his mother’s work and references. He is eager to try different things, and shows determination to follow up on things he is interested in. To that light, he actually read Hogwarts: A history (well… skimmed.) His innate curiosity is limitless, as is his ability to disregard rules. He is witty and frequently tosses sarcastic barbs at people. He does belive in helping his friends, though his form of help may not be the most legal. He likes muggle music and had his mother charm a CD player for him before attending Hogwarts. He likes green vegetables but hates purple or red ones (he considers them unnatural.) He loves sweets, and has a high metabolism that merits that love. He often carries a supply of muggle and wizard treats with him. His pet is a female tabby cat called Gabby, who has slightly green stripes (she was a one month old kitten at the time of the Great Green Mishap.) Jared has always desired to be a animagus and loves animals (at least, muggle animals.) He likes nothing better than to curl up on a soft surface and nap, cool shade or bright sun are preferred. He does like exploring and wandering and looks forward to searching every nook a cranny of the Hogswarts Castle.

Biography of Jared Devon Lawson, Jr

Jared was born in Kingston Jamaica. Weighing 9.5 pounds at birth, his actual date of birth is uncertain as one nurse record his birth as 11:59 January 7th and another as 12:01 January 8th. His father was a muggle, but his mother was a pure blood wizard of the Lennings family line. Unfortunately, she died in child birth so he knows next to nothing about her, just what his father has told him. His parents met through his father’s Mudblood sister. Soon after his birth, his father migrated to England. When Jared was four, his father remarried another witch (he loved having magic in his life,) a nice lady two years his junior who did research into charms and transfiguration.
Jared’s magic wasn’t officially realized until two years after his father’s remarriage. Though his father had long suspected that he had the potential due to the strange things that happened around him (milk bottle lasting for a rather long time, toys that were hidden or stored away mysteriously finding their way to Jared’s hand, sweets being spirited away from locked cabinets.) Jared was always curious about his new mothers work, and was known to sneak into her study and fiddle with her supplies. He was eventually welcomed in there, but with caution. He accidentally knocked over a packed shelf one day, but the shelf and its contents frozen in midair instead of crush the hapless preschooler. As a result, his parents pulled him from the school system and home schooled him in both muggle and wizardly knowledge. His mothers (mostly eccentric) friends and his Mudblood Aunt.
Though this prevented him from causing a magical disaster at school, it did not prevent those at home and, in some cases, in parks with friends. One such incident led to his curious hair and eye color. Once again fiddling with his mothers supplies (a habit that had not died in the four year to that point, in fact, his family adamantly insisted it grew,) he was attempting to devise a potion and spell that would allow him to change a few od his belongs to a lovely shade of glassy green, under cover of night. Unfortunately (fortunately in his opinion) for him, he succeeded in replication the spell in his mothers notes (he planted the seeds of such a spell idea several weeks before.) At first, the items he tried it on (his fan, widows, shoes, clothes, cupboard, bed head, etc) failed to display any satisfactory change after the recommended amount, so he applied it liberally. Most people know that randomly mixing potion is unwise, but he was only nine. The resulting explosion affected everything in the room, including him. His mother manage to reverse most of it, but he refused treatment for his hair and eyes, but his mother drew the line at the finger and toe nails.
Jared’s home, while normal enough on the outside (it’s a lovely two-story semi-detached,) the inside is a hodgepodge of charmed muggle junk (to make his dad’s life easier since he envies wizardry) and spelled rooms. Not only did this promote Jared’s interest in the more illegal forms of charming, but it also made having guests and friends over a rather dice affair (Jared’s first and last sleepover ended in two boys in St Mungo’s, several memory charms and a close shave with the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office) and cements their image as the neighbourhood black sheep.
Jared loves quidditch and is eager to learn how to fly. He is deficient in that area of his magic education, as no place existed for him to truly practice fly. He is somewhat nervous when at highs as he has never gone more that twelve feet of the ground on a broom (in his magically enlarged basement.) He is also unaware of most magical plants and animals, but is eager (bordering on reckless) in his desire to learn. He is not very good at potions as he has had years of doing it wrong behind his mother’s back to unlearn.

Hat- *shift comfortably as he muses over where to put Jared* Hmm… weird one aren’t you?
Jared- Hey! I resent that!
Hat- It’s the truth. You’re pretty daring and nervy. But you’re also resourceful, creative and loyal. Got plenty of wit and I sense some cunning in you, but you aren’t very ambitious...
Jared- I will throw you off *low growl*
Hat- Do that and I’ll have you expelled. But where to put you… Maybe HUF-
Jared- No thanks*says it hastily and nervously*. I’m not exactly the most honest person around. Mom say’s that’s important to a Hufflepuff.
Hat- Okay, then RAVE-
Jared- If you think I’m answering a riddle every time I want to get to my room, you got another thing coming *scowls*. I suck at riddles.
Hat- Picky aren’t you? I suppose you got a problem with Slytherin too?
Jared- *shrug* Hate snakes.
Hat- *mutter* And people think this job is easy *Jared rolls his eyes*… GRYFFINDOR!

Name: Quinn Hart
Age: 11
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Quinn is fairly taller than the average eleven year old, and his weight suffers for it. Being considered underweight, he refers to himself as skin and bones, and he constantly tries to eat to gain weight. However, his metabolism has kept him tooth pick thin, and he is bound to stay that way until his body further develops.

His tooth pickiness is complimented by his somewhat pale complexion. His skin is very delicate, the mix of color and whiteness is easy to burn in the sun, and has never been tanned. Any and all color that he has gotten from hours of sun has either faded to nothingness or advanced to sun burn. Another quality which overall lowers Quinn's self esteem.

Quinn's other features are what he considers "nothing special" either. His brown eyes are somewhere between hazel and light brown, and their sparkle almost feminine. His hair is the same light brown color, with very fair light red highlights. Both features are soft and make his look even more feminine than he ever could be.

Lastly Quinn sticks to basic clothing. He wears very casual denim shorts and a plain T-Shirt of some sort. That is unless you find him at night, in which he wears long checkered pajama bottoms and a pale white T-Shirt.

Personality:
Quinn is a perfectionist. He never wants to be wrong or off by even half of a percent. Although with his his natural take on magic, it isn't likely that he'll be wrong when it comes to it. Quinn is also considered much like a scholar. A huge bookworm, he could spend days in a library or archive and simply study and read. But books aren't his only favorite thing. He also enjoys flying on his broomstick and collecting samples from various magic species. He does however have his dislikes as well. He hates snobs and people who abuse their power. He also has a dislikes of frogs, which is why he chooses to stick away from swampy areas.

While Quinn is a great and intelligent young warlock, he is not snobbish. And he is not one to always get his way. He's fine giving advice and helpful info as well whatever help he can without being an annoyance. Though he is a perfectionist, he does not have to get his way, he's perfectly fine doing what he has to, as long as he does perfect. Perfect being the best he can possibly do.

Quinn is also very sensitive. Having lost both his father and his two older brothers to a wizard, now held in Azkaban. He has seen death while it may strengthen others, he has not gotten over it. He is somewhat a push over and one to be targeted by bullies, though it is not always a smart idea to mess with him. For while he is a push over, he doesn't let someone get away with something horrible and wrong for long.

While some may not care, Quinn wishes to be in Gryffindor, like his late father and mother was.

History:
Quinn has been through few devastating thing in his life. But still, one devastating thing is more than enough to ruin someone of such a young age. Quinn was born to a middle class magical family, with no more or no less than the average family. It was a quaint life, but it was a happy one. Until the Azkaban prisoner know as Zane Kingsley, escaped and went on an evil killing spree. His Older Brothers and Father, being the only capable warlocks in the family went to battle him, Quinn not able to come for he had not begun learning magic.

But Quinn was not to be denied. Being rather stupid at the time, the future young warlock followed them until they came to the wizard. What happened next is a memory Quinn would never have repeated. His brothers and father were turned on each other, and Son killed Son, and Father killed Son. And in the end, The Father committed the force act of suicide, with Quinn watching, hiding in the wake.

The poor boy would be dead too, if it had not been for his Mother, who since Quinn disappeared from home, had been searching for him. She alone stood against Zane, and in the end, held him off long enough for his return to Azkaban. Quinn has since lived traumatized by the experience, and has lost himself in books rather than the world.

But he will be broken from this, as he shall be learning Magic this first year.

Sorting Hat: "Another Hart son eh? Well everyone in this family seems to have the confidence for Gryffindor. But you have so much more potential than the others had. You're potential is perfect for Slytherin, but you lack the backbone. You're willingness to help others makes you good for Hufflepuff. But you just don't belong there... I wouldn't want to waste such a promising pupil. You're thirst for knowledge and ability to work is of good use. Maybe I should put you in Ravenclaw... you wouldn't have a problem unlike some others... but still... the Hart family is known for Gryffindor... but potential is potential... and maybe you could be of use to a rather lowly liked house these days... very well then... Slytherin!"

Name: Yan Ting Ting "Rosa"
Age: 11
Gender: Female
Appearance: A completely ordinary young girl, Rosa is what your typical Chinese girl would look like. She has medium length raven black hair, which is usually tied in a high or low ponytail, and dark eyes. She wears a pair of pink rimmed glasses due to excessive game play. Rosa likes to keep things simple and usually wears only a shirt, sweat shirt, pants and a pair of sneakers. Around her neck is a red thread with a fake jade carving of a dragon. Her nails are a little too short and she's about four foot six.

Personality: An overly excited girl, Rosa has the tendency to talk too loud when conversing with others. Though she is shy and quiet at first, she loses that persona quickly and has a habit of acting before she thinks. Or rather, she doesn't quite think at all. It's only after the conversation's over and she's alone that she realizes. A girl of many regrets. Rosa also has a bad habit of biting her nails, which explains why they're so short.

Rosa is also accident prone. It's a miracle if she doesn't hit something once a day. She doesn't particularly care which House she's Sorted into so long as she doesn't get into trouble.

Biography/History: Born into a family of four, which included her mom, her dad and her older brother, Rosa rarely ever saw any magic. Her family, though pureblood, liked to do things more by hand and only used magic on special occasions. Most times were during holidays or birthday celebrations. Her parents had moved during Voldemort's reign to America before moving back once Voldemort was defeated.

Sorting Hat: "Let's see here. . . . . Definitely not a Gryffindor, I see. My, don't you have a lot of regrets. Maybe putting you in Gryffindor will help boost your confidence. No? Alright then. You are neither sly nor cunning making you unfit for Slytherin. All that's left now are Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, it seems. Well, you do have quite a curious mind but it seems you can't quite apply yourself. Not much of a hard-worker now, are you? How unfortunate. You won't be able to get through school unless you try.
