Okay, well, I was unofficially gone for the weekend as I am finally moved and lots of people wanted to see me. So I spent some time with family but I won't be typing anymore tonight (I've been playing Guitar Hero all day with my sister and my fingers are protesting every tap on the keyboard T_T).

Yes, I have been insanely busy and I have nothing to show for it except a clearer view on life and what I want out of it. Which is more of a personal thing that has nothing to do with this forum and its goings-on, but I'm all the happier for having it out.

Know that the Right Hand of Destruction has returned and woe be to those who dare to challenge this new level of maturity I have reached, for it is known to break every thirty seconds.

You should feel special Masq, hearing from you convinced me to get back here and set things straight. It appears most of you have fallen by the wayside in the midst of roleplaying, and I'm truly sorry for not keeping up, especially when I entered in quite a few of them and then disappeared. I was fully expecting someone to berate me for that.

Let me start this off by saying:

I admit, I definitely could’ve made this post sooner, but I never told Zeri (nor anyone, actually) that I’d be leaving without saying a single word to any of you all.

For the most part, you’re all pretty awesome people who I’ve enjoyed hanging out with for the past year or so. Even though I’ve had my fair share of arguments or whatever with a few of you, that doesn’t change the fact that roleplaying here has been a fun, different experience that I never planned on attempting - ever.

Drifting away from the roleplaying side of things, I’d also like to briefly touch on all of the fun chats that we’ve had with each other in the chatting threads and the like. All of that was very, very enjoyable, and to be completely honest, I miss it, but things have become just too overwhelmingly busy for me in order to stop by on a regular basis.

Now, I should probably get to the point on why it has taken me so long to say goodbye. I went through tedious surgery two months ago that required loads of recuperation and rest to get over. Basically, when I was born, my ribs were slightly crushed - or bent inwards, if you’d like to call it. Apparently the doctors didn’t notice this at all, so they didn’t fix it early on. Just a few days before I went through my surgery, I was told this, and that if my ribs weren’t fixed sooner or later, they’d continue to grow inwards until they pierced vital organs and killed me.

What they had to do to during the surgery involved inserting a metal pole into my body and rotating it in order to flip the ribs upwards toward their intended positions. As you may imagine, walking sucked terribly for the first month (maybe a little longer) after the surgery itself.

In addition to all of these physical issues that I had going on, I also had approximately a month’s worth of schoolwork to make up, and because it was a new year at school, most of it was all new material that I had never seen before, which was also sucked terribly.

With all that has been going on in my life lately (along with the reasons that I gave Zeri for my absence, which I will not be covering here), I have recently, and probably will for quite a while, had little to no time to spend chatting here on ED or with Zeri in other private forums.

I’m not asking for forgiveness or sympathy from any of you, but I just felt, well, bad about myself disappearing for such a long period of time.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I can safely say:

Goodbye. The time I’ve spent here has been irreplaceable, and I hope to return sometime soon once I get my life all cleaned up.

Life around the forums has been rather dry without you here, Durn. I don't know if I can speak for everyone, but I can tell you that I've missed you greatly. But your personal life is more important than the internet, so make sure you're perfectly fine before coming back. If you come back with a lot of work to do still, I won't forgive you.
