Honestly, I've only seen one good Zed player. Most people don't seem to know what the hell they're doing with him.

I haven't been able to try Zed so I don't know what it's like but Elise has an awesome skillset. Unfortunately, she's not my kind of character.

I actually own Zed and played him in a few ARAMs. He's kind of an oddball for an assassin. I mean, he's got surprisingly good poke and gap closers/escapes with his Living Shadow, but he's not very energy efficient as opposed to Akali or Lee Sin. His late game scaling is actually pretty decent, but his Ult only does as much as one auto-attack if you happen to find yourself out of energy and unable to use any attacks on your target, and I've had many people being able to get away with just a sliver of health because of it. Most of the time I end up using it for the one second of being untargetable if I'm force to engage. I'm sure once they change the armor penetration mechanics to where percentage applies before flat, he'll be a lot better. Other than that, he's a pretty high skill cap champion.

I tried Elise and really couldn't get the hang of her at all. It was terrible. I'm working on my Fiora right now, hoping to get a bit better at her because she has so much potential.
