Even though Roger knew that the attack would undoubtedly be blocked, he couldn't stop from at least trying. It would bring him immense satisfaction if his blade connected with the condescending battle scholar who had just killed someone who had actually been nice to him. He was starting to figure out that there was a difference between the Queen's kindness and actual kindness. He hefted his blade and brought it down heavily only to have it blocked by a paladin's shield.

Ryu saw that she couldn't do much of anything anymore, and she twirled then tossed her lance into the air. But it ddn't come down. Ryu's eyes glowed for a moment and she closed them, her armor mering with her body and turning into scales. A multitude of snapping of bones followed by a pair of huge webbed wings sprouting out of her back, where her shoulder blades are. Claws grew, a tail grew, even Ryu's head had transformed into that of a dragon's, leaving no sign of her once being human except that the size of her body was still the same as before. But that changed as well, Ryu grew larger until she was around 20-feet tall when lying down and spread her wings, beating them furiously and taking flight. She opened her mouth and let out an intimidating roar, and as if resonating with her roar, a thunderstorm, earthquake, tsunami, hurricane, and other natural disasters occured. An excess amount of energy had been left after that became small blue spheres that gathered inside Ryu's giant maw before being swallowed by the giant avatar of the Azure Dragon. Right after that, Ryu began to shrink, until she was human size again and returned to normal, holding out her hand to catch her lance as if fell back down. She looked around and notced that she had done somewhat of a heavy collateral damage to her surrounding, but everything still seemed to be standing, she wasn't as strong as she had thought.

Alright, this was really starting to piss him off now. Snarling in rage, Evan began his assault. Dealing a rapid spin, he slammed one of his blades down at the scholar before launching himself into the air. As he fell, he struck fiercely at the air, strong enough that blades of piercing wind formed and sliced at the male. Finally, he launched his blades at him, spearing him into the ground. Evan landed neatly on his feet and reached over to pull his weapons out.
[Evan] activates his D-Ability: Tempest Whirl on [Atlas]. 14 Piercing Wind ATK DMG.

Atlas had not planned on Arc falling, so the damage came as a shock to him. However, his battle instincts took over and helped him to recover. Tendrils of mana shot at his attackers and drained every last drop of their unused mana. "You fools! Have you not realized by now that there is no hope left for you?!" He dodged around the dual blade and smacked him in the face after which he smashed him in the head with his book before nailing the man right in the chest with the corner of the now dangerous tome. To top it off, Atlas raised his hand and two bolts of lightning struck from the sky. It was a clean hit.

Roger dashed forward, determined not to let Atlas get away with what he was doing. Really, he was afraid for his life. He already knew that his power was draining life force and wondered whether or not his new allies would be surprised when he fell unconscious all of a sudden. Regardless, he slashed the battle scholar with his enormous blade, this time with no interference.

Cage took out two dice once again, throwing them at the battle scholar who seemed so keen on forgetting him. Watching the dice roll,m his cards began to shudder, as if they were preparing for the attack. As the dice ended, the cards attacked the scholar immediately.

A violent, red aura began to surround Irene. "ATLAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. "I won't let you fall in vain! PREPARE TO DIE!!" An immense burst of mana surged into the air and swirled about angrily before sweeping over the battlefield, shattering the party's mana cycles which caused major complications to their vital processes. Irene fell to her knees afterwards, her body void of clean mana. "F-for you, Atlas..."

Ryu backed away, seeing that her entire rest of the team was devastated by the attack and left her extremely weak. She took a herb and bit into it, ignoring its bitter taste.

Ryu knew that ir would be foolish to charge in when she was outnumbered and couldn't use any of her techniques anymore. So she sidestepped toward the bag hoping there would be something in there to help her beat the two.

Seeing that the girl was obviously after the bag, the paladin went right over and claimed it for himself. He didn't even know what the devil it was doing outside the castle anyway.
Roar picks up the Bag!

"Nice thinking, Roar!" Irene cheered. "I knew paladins were geniuses in armor!! Getting rid of her only avenue of escape; it's beautiful. Time to finish up!" Irene moved where Roar had been before and prepared her staff to bonk the last enemy in the head when she got close enough.

The strike from the paladin was...kind of pathetic. And the one from the girl was even more pathetic. Ryu swung her lance around and struck the paladin this time. Then she baced away slightly using Roger's limp body as a protective wall.

The party was at the mercy of the two remaining enemies, but that was before another person arrived on the scene. From inside the castle, the sound of heels clicking against the stone floors could be heard from outside. The sound grew louder and louder until they came to a stop. Standing beside Irene was a very tall woman with a magnificent and regal posture. Her gown was extremely dark and trailed down to her ankles which allowed her to show off her black heels. The gown was adorned with purple ribbons and a purple sash around the waist with a skull design in the center. The woman's hair was blacker than her gown and trailed down to her around her lower back. She gazed out over the scene with a thoughtful grace showing upon her countenance. Her lips were pursed slightly, the violet lipstick making them stick out upon her pale skin. The lipstick made her lips match her violet eyes which possessed a fearsome cruelty hidden behind a velvet curtain of indifference.
Suddenly, the woman started clapping. Both Irene and Roar bowed and kneeled before her. "So these were the ignorant rebels who sought to eliminate me?" she asked rhetorically, her voice shattering the silence, yet it did not appear angry. "Does the Rebellion Force seek to insult me by sending mere novices after me? Were they truly expecting to break through my royal guard?" She stopped clapping and laughed. "Pathetic."

God, his head hurt like a bitch.
Nearly hissing out in pain, Evan stiffened and slowly forced his eyes open. He had not expected to be beaten this badly, little assholes. Slowly, he raised his head, vision somewhat blurry. But once his eyes landed on a woman fully clothed in black, he stared. Mind instantly alert, Evan felt a rush of thoughts slam into his head. But only one stood out prominently.
This was the Queen.
With no heed to his injuries, Evan slammed one of his blades into the ground, forcing himself up.
"You bitch!" he hissed, glaring fiercely even as blood leaked out of his open wounds and some trailed down his face from cuts along his head. The urge to kill, to maim, to do anything filled him, pushing him past his limits. With a furious cry, he flung his other blade at the woman, not even caring if it connected or not.

The haze that Duke was in was broken by a shrill voice. He groaned softly and tried to settle back into the deep sleep, but his inner voice prevented that, reminding him of the mission. That and the fact that the voice was still going on. He tested his limbs before opening his eyes.
"Atatatatata," he winced. He glanced around and blinked at the queen before sighing. "This definitely isn't heaven. The ladies their would be much prettier," he glanced at the queen's robes. "They would have better taste in clothes too..."
"That aside," he said as he pushed himself to his feet, "judging from the extravagant use of purple, I assume you're Queen Nara." Long periods of training in his art made them very strong. And it took a lot of stamina, durability and fast recovery time to tease people like Ryu-chan. He bowed shallowly. "Forgive me if I don't show more respect, but your palace jester kinda did a number on me and I'm stilll sore and stiff."

The Queen didn't even flinch as the blade was flung at her. "Foolish," she muttered as a green force field appeared around her, the blade hitting it harmlessly and causing the weapon to soar through the air and land with a clatter on the cobblestone. The sound of her heels clicking on the stone filled the air again as she drew nearer to the party. "I do not require respect from trash such as yourselves. Allow me to correct myself. I meant weak trash. Do you see how unafraid of you I am? This is a reflection of how pathetic you look to me and how none of you could match my power." She turned her head to Duke. "And is that all you have? To insult my looks and my clothing, both of which I know are astonishing?" With amazing speed, she knocked the boy in the face with the back of her hand. "Despite how hard it may be for you, I suggest tying up that tongue of yours before you lose it."

Cage hadn't felt much anything after the attack, it was like an icy sheen dulling the pain. As he woke, he knew he couldn't get up, even if he wanted to. Noticing his picture just out of reach he strained to grab it. It came to no avail. He cursed mentally, he allowed it to drift away. But he couldn't let it disappear, he couldn't continue if it did.
But all hope was lost as a slight breeze blew it just in front of the Queen's feet.

Evan laughed, the sound hoarse and grating. It hurt to laugh but he didn't care. Bringing his eyes up, he locked his gaze with the Queen's, a burning fury in them.
"Like I give a flying fuck," he sneered, forcing himself to stand. He ripped his second blade out of the ground, the rough motion causing even more blood to spill from his injuries. "I'll kill you. It doesn't matter what I have to do, I swear I will kill you."

The queen sneered and laughed derisively. "I would not go around making promises that you cannot keep," she directed at Evan. She was about to add more, but that's when she noticed something at her feet. Carefully, she stooped down and picked up the charred thing. It was a picture with singed edges. In the picture was a man and two girls. She gazed out over the rebels and found the man in the picture on the ground, desperately reaching out for the picture. Nara smiled. "Aw, are you trying to reach this here photograph?" she asked aloud. "It must mean soooo very much to you. But would you like to know something? Your sentiments are meaningless to me." With that, she crumpled up the picture and threw it on the ground before stabbing the mass with one of her heels. She laughed while she did it to add insult to injury.

You talk down to the guy who throws a sword at you but slap the guy who talks to you? That's a bit childish if you ask me." He rubbed his cheek appreciatively appraisingly. "Still, you got some pretty nice fangs for a queen. Do you work out? I'd love the number of your personal trainer."

"Not like you didn't like it," the Dual Blade mumbled, loud enough for Duke to hear. Really, he wouldn't be surprised if the Trick Step did actually like it. He taunted Ryu enough. Evan could feel a headache coming on. "She probably did take offense to you talking trash about her outfit. Girls are like that, you know." He could remember Michelle, ugh. Headache turning into migraine. Pain.

Ryu looked up, she was weak from the attack from the paladin but still conscious. She got up to a kneeling position, using her lance to support herself. She was too weak to fight anymore, and he wouldn't stand a chance anyways. The Azure Dragon hadn't awoke yet, and with the little power she had, she'd be slaughtered.
"Dammit...why did all the other...blessed...had their creatures awoke before me...?" Ryu murmured quietly, not loud enough for anyone else to hear.
Ryu looked at the queen, then at Duke. The fool was letting his mouth get him into trouble, again. Ryu decided to keep quiet, there was nothing she could say to help the situation.
