Zeri, I had a question about stealing. What is your rule? For percentages I mean, is it like status effects, or is it fixed at 50%?

Nothing is fixed.

Of course there's going to be a resistance to stealing.

It's practically impossible to steal from bosses, but still possible.

That's all you need to know.

Hm...

Since Cerani is back (I'm using this term lightly), we can probably continue on with Amezi. I'd like to get that back up and moving, since the plot line I'm thinking of is kinda interesting.

As for Durn, I don't expect him to be back anytime soon. Kaleidoscope can just be a pimple on the sandy floor for now. Besides, we're getting the won't-do-shit-princess in a little while.

Hey Zeri, how much Mp would you put for a skill that always steals something from regular enemies and only offers an improved chance of stealing from bosses?

There's no 100% of anything in an RPG, but at the maximum percentage I would have stealing be around...15 MP, maybe? It wouldn't change much for the bosses though, since I adapt their percentage of resistance in accordance with the percentages of status infliction. So a 90% chance of theft (maximum for said ability) would only be a 10-15% chance for bosses, whereas a 50% chance of theft would be 1-5% for bosses.

That's basically all I have on thievery though, I haven't really delved much into that. Having a thief on the party will help me progress further on that. I'm willing to experiment on your character. We'll see how it goes for the first few levels and then make changes.

Until that time, I'll be very flexible on what I accept for a thief's abilities.
