Who might your character get along with the best, assuming their skills and appearances accurately reflect their personalities?

Yes, it's going to.
There's no way it can't.

Re: Eternal Dream: Online
Theoretically, no. We never set one.
The idea behind it is to force me to use consecutive basic attacks in order to increase the damage potential. If I stop at any point and use an ability or item, then the counter is reset. It's also reset if I'm disabled in some way.
Misfortune only applies to A-Abilities, so that doesn't really matter.

Then it probably won't have one.
Unless it gets way too out of control, but it should be fine.

Re: Eternal Dream: Online
It probably won't get too bad. Remember that I'm only increasing the damage output percentage, I'm not using the previous amount and increasing that by 20%. Then the scale will get ridiculously quick and overpowered.
At lower levels, it isn't much use, because I don't have a very high Int stat. It takes awhile to accumulate power, and Haste runs out in three turns, so then it becomes twice as hard.
If you get too uncomfortable with it, we can change it to 10% instead.

Re: Eternal Dream: Online
Just something that's been going on my head since the first 2 pages:
Is Alli the only one who has no desire whatsoever to log out, and is not a bit bugged by the realism and creepiness?

I think it's quite clear that I find things falling from the ceiling to be quite creepy.
Re: Eternal Dream: Online
You should play Amnesia.
You won't like anything coming from anywhere after that. \o/

Re: Eternal Dream: Online
I think Allindur and I should double team the Hanging Men (Shadow Jump + Fury Combo) for Perfect Kills while Masq spams Radiant Mark on the new enemies.
Re: Eternal Dream: Online
Vergil, if you don't mind continuing the battle please post as soon as you can, considering we're not even done with our first battle and everyone else is on their second ^^

Re: Eternal Dream: Online
I still feel like Intangibility should give the user some sort of weakness against magical attacks. It basically means an immunity to physical attacks, and that seems kind of unfair to not place some sort of limiter on it.
*shrugs* That's just my opinion though.

Works for me. Guess I'm seeing hope in the form of getting rid of the Lynched.

Just going purely off of logic, I see no reason as to why the lack of a tangible body should result in a weakness to magic. Yes, it is certainly unbalanced, but that's why they call it an advantage.
That's my view on it.

Re: Eternal Dream: Online
I believe the logic behind it is that the intangible body is your spirit and the tangible, physical body takes a brunt of the magic damage before your spirit does. So, lacking a physical body, the spirit has to take the full force of the magic which relates in the form of greater damage.
Just my two cents, take it as you like.

Makes sense. I guess it depends on how you look at it.

Re: Eternal Dream: Online
Not only that, but since Intangible prevents physical attacks, it also kind of prevents all sorts of physical status issues like Bleeding and Blood Loss. It's kind of difficult to make a spirit bleed.

Re: Eternal Dream: Online
That too.
But y'all shouldn't have to worry about Intangibility too much. There are very few enemies with that status.
