Alli and Cerani practically hit the nail on the head. They're supposed to be marginally overpowered, since, unless you guys act like the second coming of Hitler, all nine of them probably won't attack you guys.

Some of the characters, such as Crysis and Memory Order, are pretty pacifistic people and are not prone to violence. Whereas some other characters, such as Walter and Noah, enjoy the concept of violence.

Basically, it's all about how you guys reason with them. If you want to eat their organs, feel free, as long as you can kill them. If you want to be buddies, some of them will happily be buddies, while others will not.

So, I maintain my point.
