The crowd began to expectantly shudder in their seats. They knew that about half way, the performers would do something exciting. Some began to stand, hoop, and holler, while others chewed long worn nails and muttered. The sun outside began to set as the performers struck one by one at the never ending tenacity of the dolls. Overall, the excitement only seemed to grow, instead of stagnate as with normal performances that drug on. Several of the sponsors actually nodded at each other and began to speak with the stage manager about inserting donations into the arena. Hopefully, this mood would last...

The crowd savagely cheered as the mannequins fell down one by one, but cried in shock when they stood back up. Since when did they start coming back up after they were killed?! The audience roared for the performers to destroy the mannequins once and for all.

The reassembling dolls seemed to be only able to recover once. One of them had collapsed on itself and didn't get back up once more. And as expected the doll she had stabbed managed to get back on its artificial feet. However it seemed to be unable to move for whatever reason. It didn't really matter to Lilliana if it could move or not as she once again plunged her knife into the body of the doll. With her vision back to normal it was much easier for her to stab the doll.

The crowd was starting to go wild now. That was always a pleasantry. Cornelia smiled slyly as the sound of pages flipping filled the air and a blast of energy shot forth towards the nearest mannequin. It would not be long now. These things would topple after all. For a moment she was actually worried which warranted a small laugh from her. Such silly strifes. Reaching into her pocket, she retrieved a small, foil-wrapped chocolate, peeling back the foil to reveal the luscious brown delight within. With no regard to her surroundings, she popped the entire thing into her mouth which instantly watered. The sweetness filled her being and she savored it, chewing slowly. There was nothing like a little sweet treat before an impending victory and a successful show.

Isa was ready to beat on the reanimated mannequin once more, but she froze suddenly. Her eyes flitted over to Mikaga who had previously knocked on one of the columns and received a bag. Yes, she had noticed. And the contents of his bag proved to outweigh the waste of time knocking on the pillar seemed to be. With a slight nod in his direction, the observer rewrapped the whip around her arm and moved over to the column nearest her, knocking on it as he comrade had done.
