Chris watched in horror as the man hit Clara with his horrid fire. She grew angry and immediately had an energy filled bomb core in her hands.

"YOU DON'T TOUCH HER!!!"

Chris threw the bomb creating a huge explosion of energy. Chris hoped it burned him to the bone!

Clara fell off of her seat, the fire scorching her new clothes. She got back up and felt ill, she figured there was more to the flame then she knew. She got back to her seat and played quickly. At first nothing, but then gophers appeared from the ground underneath Aruu and grabbed him. They dragged him down beneath the earth and shot him back up. A wolf then came and clawed at him before running off.

Aruu quickly realized that the assassin who had tried to disable him was untouchable at the moment, but he had unfinished business with a certain organist. After being pounded on by myriad animals, he rushed over to Clara and slammed his keyblade into her head. But the attack didn't end their. Instead, he made a combo by turning around quickly and smashing the weapon into her ribs and bringing the keyblade upwards to smash her into her chin.

Chris ran forward angrily, another bomb in her hand. It was a wonder how she made them so quickly. But to her it wasn't a matter of making them, but bringing him down. She swore to bring him down no matter what.

Clara looked up at the Keyblade Wielder, her eyes overflowing with tears. Her eyes were still angry ones, and she was able to clench her fists.

She closed her eyes and fell off of her seat, her breathing slowed to a stop.

Aruu was panting hard. "H-how could you have pushed me this far?? Weaklings...." He paused to cough up some blood. "I can't let this continue any longer. For DARKNESS!!" Aruu's body began to levitate into the air. The whole area got even darker than it was already as if the moonlight was being blotted out by some evil force. With keyblade out, Aruu dived at Chris and struck right through her. He then persisted to disappear and reappear near Kazega who he dived at and struck causing her to fall to the ground. His last victim was Ryas. He tried to dive at her only to be blocked by her doll, but the damage was done nonetheless. Tenkai was a hopeless target and Clara had been struck down by his lightning.

Chris was able to see the Keyblade Wielder's attack before it happened and summoned a shield of energies. When the attacks were sent at her, she held it tight. But as soon as the final attack ended, her shield broke.

"Darn it..."

She reached into her bag once more and took out another Psychic Bomb. She filled it with Energy and threw it at Aruu, it exploded on contact.

"It's over..."

Clara took both hits, but as before, she awoke. She was quite happy she had been able to play that final piece before taking damage. She quickly played a tune she knew he would hate and knew it was over.

Aruu began stumbling to the ground, his body becoming swallowed by a cloud of darkness. "I-I f-failed....?" he questioned as his knees hit the ground. His keyblade disappeared into darkness. "I-I thought I w-was strong enough....," he said as he punched the ground.

Footsteps approached. It was a female with white hair and red eyes. She had a displeased look upon her face. Her attire was that of a dealer in a casino or something. "So you have lost?" she questioned simply. The entire place looked devastated. Some trees were splintered with there remains on fire. It looked like a disaster. There were several people standing around....in a weakened state, obviously, while three others lay on the ground in severe condition. "Well, I suppose you could do what you could do."

Aruu growled. "Don't p-patronize me! I wasn't strong enough....but I s-swear I will be....when I r-return..... ... ...," he managed to say before becoming completely enveloped in darkness.

The female clapped her hands slowly. "That's a major accomplishment, you know," she said calmly. "He is one of our strongest....maybe even stronger than me." She gazed up at the sky.

Clara ran to Trinity's Side and stumbled trying to keep the Keyblade Wielder up. Chris did the same with Kazega, it wasn't until they were balanced till they noticed the female.

"I've dealt with enough for now, leave!"

Her words were powerful, even though she felt horrible. She started to move away, hoping to not have to fight.

"I'm with her, leave, we are obviously in no shape to fight!"

The female didn't smile or turn her gaze at the witch's direction. "I don't have to want anything. Can I not just stand here and gaze at the stars?" She disappeared.

Suddenly, a playing card was being held against Ryas's neck. "Or can I not just slit your throat whenever I feel like? I suggest you practice what you preach and keep that mouth of yours still," she added with not the slightest bit of malice.

Trinity was starting to wake up and she thanked Clara for helping her. "W-what's going on h-here?" she asked shakily.

Clara nodded with a weak smiled but still held Trinity up. She knew that it could be hard for her to stand.

"Trinity, we really should go..."

She then looked towards the woman, blood on her cheek mixed with tears.

"We'll leave, we don't want trouble..."

Chris ended up laying the Wind Advent on the ground and diging through her bag. At the bottom she found the dust of a crushed life crystal, it was better than nothing. She scooped up what she could and layed it across Kazega.

"It's time to wake up..."

Kazega remained unresponsive, though her breathing returned to normal. It would probably take some rest before she would wake up.

The woman smiled. The body that had claws against it immediately transformed into a bunch of playing cards that just fell to the ground. "That is a good question, witch. Which is faster?" She reappeared with a card to Tenkai's neck. "An assassin or a card player? It seems we have our answer." She drew back her card and disappeared again only to reappear in her original position.

"You do realize how foolish your endeavor is, right?" she asked the party. "Why are you risking your lives like this? Miss Heart almost lost hers." She pointed at the keyblade wielder who just gazed drearily at the woman. "Though you have defeated Aruu, he is nothing compared to Drakna."

She sighed and looked back up at the stars. "No one's keeping you here, you know?" she said suddenly and lied down on the grass to continue her stargazing. "You could have left whenever you felt like it. I suggest getting some courage because your little "tough guy defense" you put up is rather pathetic." She didn't even smirk. She wasn't being arrogant; in her mind, she was being honest.

The woman threw a card at Ryas. "Before you go, take my card," she said nonchalantly. There was something written in elegant calligraphy on the card that read:

Alice, Dealer of the Cards.

"Now you know my name. I already know all of yours." She remained gazing at the stars. "I guess you're all going off again. I'll be waiting for you. It hurts to know we must fight; that I must be the one to deliver you to the gates of Hell." She sighed and picked a wildflower from the grass around her.

The party, paying no heed to the rambling woman who was obviously on the side of evil decided to find a safe haven....

Luckily, a traveling merchant was about to enter the Dragonscar Garden. Without the utmost wonder of what was going on, he unlocked the giant padlock and entered.

"S-should we follow him?" Trinity murmured weakly. "I'm p-pretty sure we n-need some m-more items..."

Upon being healed, Trinity finally was able to stand on her own. "Thank you, everybody," she spoke and smiled slightly as she took a deep breath. "I can't believe we managed to win. Though he deserved to go down in the end, that Aruu was very powerful. And he wielded a keyblade just like me, but sided with darkness...." her voice trailed off.

Kazega shook her head slightly and opened her eyes groggily. The chest wound she had earlier had vanished thanks to Ryas's spell. "I appreciate your kindness, Ryas, and yours, too, Chris," she said graciously as she tried to stand up. But she wasn't ready, so she decided to sit down in the grass.

Looking around, the party was in the entrance of some kind of cemetary. The wrought-iron gate was behind them wide open. Alice was still stargazing in the grass, playing around with her wildflower. Ahead of the party were rows and rows of elaborate tombstones and directly in front of them was the traveling merchant who was looking around cautiously. Apparently, he stayed constantly aware of any danger that might be lurking about. It was a cemetary after all.

"Excuse me Sir! We'd like to buy Items!"

Clara moved closer to the man, a cheery smile on her face. She spoke and acted as if she wasn't just attacked, and was rather ready for another fight. Of course this was totally untrue, but that was how it seemed. She was convincing to say the least. It was like she was completely unaware of her surroundings.

"Yeah, no Problem..."

Chris tried to smile but knew she ha nothing to smile about right now. She simply bit her lip and looked around. Unlike Clara, she didn't like the looks of this place and found it rather creepy. She didn't even like being here, much less stay here for the night. She didn't feel any safer knowing that Alice was nearby...

The merchant quit his observations and smiled at the kind girls. "Well most certainly I can let you see my wares, ladies," he said kindly and took his bag off and laid out its contents on the ground.

Trinity walked up and began to lay out their old clothes and a couple of old weapons. "And we would like to sell these to you as well," she stated simply.

Trinity sells Black Fan, Steel Claws, Elegant Dress, Elegant Kimono, Sacrificial Doll, Clean Clothing, Silk Dress, and Black Apparel! 600 Gold gained!

The merchant grinned. "Well, you guys wiped me out of stock. I only hope he doesn't get here before me; I have to go back to town to gather more supplies." He gathered up his things and made for the gates. "I've got to lock these gates, by the way. Where are you guys headed?"

"We're going to Benevolentia," Trinity answered.

"Well, you're on the right path. Just go all the way across the Garden and you should reach Dragonscar Passage, but there have been several earthquakes of late, so I don't know how tidy it's going to be in there." He walked past the gates and closed them only to rearrange the chains and lock the padlock. "You folks have a good night and be careful." The traveling merchant then waved and walked away.

By that time, Alice had vanished.
