Once again, the enormous Heartless slammed a fist into the assassin sending her flying into Trinity causing them both to collapse to the ground.

"Things getting a little rough there?" Trinity asked uneasily. She stood up and helped Tenkai back to her feet. "Don't overdo it, okay?" she said with concern, but quickly focused her attention back to their main target.

Tenkai is forced to G6!

With hardly any mana left, the Heartless resorted to physical violence instead. It raised a long arm and smashed down on the witch, or at least attempted to.

After having Tenkai slammed into her, which she found rather embarassing, Trinity focused her anger on the Darkside Heartless. "Another sphere of ice should suit you just fine!" she yelled at it, though the softness that usually permeated her voice still remained there.

Seeing the weak Heartless attack her, Kazega unleashed a little more strength than necessary and leapt behind the pathetic creature delivering a devastating slash to its backside. Since the Heartless was obviously destroyed by her measures, she turned and hurled both fans at the large one who was taking quite a beating.

"Sorry," was Tenkai's curt apology as she got back on her feet, brushing off her dress. She looked up just in time to see a giant arm swing over in Ryas' direction.

"Fuck," was all Ryas could say as her doll took the blow for her and landed on the ground, officially beaten. She bent down and picked it up, frowning. "This is bullshit, man." Tenkai, seeing this, rolled her eye and walked over to her.

[Tenkai] moves to [F-5].

"You do realize this is the second time, right?" the Dark Assassin asked, handing the girl a Life Crystal. Ryas just glared and snatched the item out of the other's hand, crushing the item in her hand and sprinkling the dust over her doll. Instantly, the magic infused within it came back to life, pulsing weakly.

[Tenkai] uses a Life Crystal on [Ryas]! Heals 20% of the target's Max HP.

"Heal or attack?" Tenkai inquired, noting that they would probably have to wait another round before they would effectively murder the giant. Ryas frowned, crossing her arms as she thought.

"Even if I heal, another hit from the big guy will kill me," Ryas finally answered. "I'll just attack and then move my ass."

Chris took no mind to the creature that had attacked her. She continued to focus on the main threat. Continuing to focus she looked up at the creature, aiming for the Heart shapped Hole in his chest. Then blasting the energy towards the creature she smiled as she hit her mark.

Chris casts Telekinesis on Darkside!
(Damage: 120% INT/Effect: --/Element: --)

Clara continued to play, unafraid of the heartless that hadn't been killed. Her tune was the same as before, each note sounding close to perfect. Suddenly the animals appeared and struck each enemy, despite the fate that would be bestowed upon them. Clara refused to look, knowing she was being cruel.

As the enormous Heartless collapsed to the ground, its body liquified and turned into another pool of darkness. From that pool, innumerable Shadow Heartless began to spawn. There were clearly too many for the party to take on and they just kept coming. From the sky came a strange and familiar voice. "You've got to get out of here!" It was Mickey. When he landed safely on the ground in front of the party, he immediately fired a beam of light into the masses of Heartless that were forming.

Trinity was shocked. "How do you expect us to just leave you here?" she asked, her keyblade at the ready.

Kazega touched her on her shoulder. "I think it would be wise to just leave this time, Trinity," she said sadly, her eyes glancing to the side and downwards. She was ashamed to have said such a thing, but she knew it to be the truth.

"HA! Take that you giant asshole!" Ryas laughed haughtily at the Darkside, watching as it collapsed. That was, until it turned into a puddle of black and Shadows began to spawn from it. "Aw, FUCK!"

"Seeing as how it had the power to call upon other Heartless, this shouldn't be surprising," Tenkai muttered, already baring her claws. She sliced through two that leaped at her, catching a third and throwing it at a group. "Even if these are weak, we don't have the stamina to handle this many."

"I noticed!" Ryas snapped, piercing a straight line of Heartless with a Blizzard spell. A bright light caught her attention and she snapped her head in the direction of it. She growled upon catching sight of the mouse. "YOU! You come after we get rid of the giant?!"

The Witch scowled, forcing herself to calm down. This wasn't the time to start screaming at the King. She quickly zapped a few Heartless before backing up. Tenkai dodged a mass as it swarmed toward her, leaping high into the air and landing perfectly next to Ryas.

"We'll leave these to you," the Dark Assassin said to the mouse, ready to escape. He was more experienced than they were. This many wouldn't be too much trouble for him. Even, they had other things to do. Her eye flickered over to Trinity.

"Get out alive so I can beat you to a pulp!" Ryas could be heard shouting. Tenkai rolled her eye. The Witch would never change.

The Heartless were starting to become a problem. Clara was forced to leave her organ as several surrounded it. She huddled close to the others, watching as the shadows fell to the ground as her Organ disappeared.

"Let's get going!"

"It wouldn't appear the best idea... but we must obey orders..."

Chris joined the group and readied her energy. She knew that with this horrible amount of Heartless it would be hard to leave.

"Wer're going to have to fight our way through..."

Trinity was about to rush in, but she knew that would accomplish nothing. "We'll see you later, right, Your Majesty?" she ended up saying as she turned her back to him.

He blasted a few more masses with orbs of light. "Absolutely. This is not goodbye. And remember, I am with each and every one of you. Our hearts are connected." He took out a small, weird box and gave it to Trinity. "Consider it a parting gift, for now," he explained.

Box reveals......

Rose Passion x1 (A fiery red dress that fosters the passion of the user into strength. Increases ATK by 1, DEF by 2, and SPR by 2; equippable by Trinity)

Bright Day x1 (A beautiful sky blue kimono depicting the afternoon sky with puffy white cumulus and a bright yellow sun. Increases DEF and SPR by 2; equippable by Kazega)

Clay Doll x1 (A sturdy doll made of clay that was imbued with special magic allowing for much more durability. Increases DEF by 3 and SPR by 2; equippable by Ryas)

Dark Clothing x1 (Completely black clothes made for sneaking around in the shadows allowing for utmost stealth. Increases DEF and SPR by 2; equippable by Tenkai)

"I'm sure it will come in handy during your adventures," King Mickey smiled. "Now I think it's time you all got out of here." He noticed there was no path of escape, but he quickly pointed his keyblade in the direction of the town exit and fired a beam of light in that direction destroying every Heartless that got in the way and sent the others scattering. "Now's your chance! Go forth, warriors of light!"

Tears began forming in Trinity's eyes, but Kazega took her hand and rushed off with the speed of the wind towards the town exit. She bowed her head in respect for King Mickey. Courage. How has he found so much of it? He has more courage than I could ever have....... Regardless, she had to focus on getting Trinity out of the place.

Trinity was practically in the air as Kazega dragged her along at high speeds. She held the box tight to her chest. Her thoughts were on how she would where her new dress with pride rather than how the king had managed to fit all of those clothes in a single box.

Ryas mentally groaned. She hated listening to these things. ESPECIALLY a corny line like that. Just thinking that their hearts were connected made the Witch shudder. Ugh, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew.

Tenkai seemed unfazed by the proceedings. Instead, she just gave the King a sweeping bow before grabbing hold of Ryas, who let out a curse, and dashed off. Even without the wind's help, her speed allowed her to keep up with Kazega and Trinity.

"That sounds... Familiar..."

Chris grabbed Clara before she could speak and followed Trinity and Kazega. They donned new clothes, Clara in a marvelous White Dress and Leather Apparel for herself. As they ran, Chris tried to remember where she had heard that syaing before.

"Our hearts are all connected..."

Clara was about to speak but she was unable as Chris grabbed her. She broke free of the Psychic's grip and ran for herself. The saying made her smile for some odd reason.

"Our hearts are all connected... sounds... nice..."

She did her best to keep up with the others, looking back once to see the king.

Thus, the party fled. They ran past the town gates and off across the plains. They ran past the spot they had first met, the peaceful grove just flickering by in their mad rush. They didn't stop running until they reached some wrought-iron gates.

Kazega stopped and let Trinity come to a stop as well. "It seems we escaped a lot farther than what we had planned," she said, looking at the gates before them. There was a chain around them with a large padlock attached.

There was unrest in the air. A dark vortex opened up in front of the gate and a boy along with three Shadow Heartless emerged from it. "Actually, you didn't escape far enough," he spoke, each word emphasized slowly and spoken with arrogance. He had fairly tanned skin and white hair that covered his eyes, though a flash of red could be seen every once in a while from underneath his bangs. He wore strange clothes that didn't seem to be of this world. His apparel had a red, black, and yellow color scheme. He wore a black hooded top with two Heartless insignias on the shoulders. Around his neck was a chain with another Heartless insignia attached. On his hands were gloves that looked suspiciously like the claws of Soldier Heartless.

Trinity stepped forward and summoned her keyblade. "What do you mean?" she replied defensively. "King Mickey saved us from the Shadow Heartless mass." Her eyes never left the boy.

He just smirked. "My name is Aruu. And I mean that you have not escaped for I am to put you to your doom." He held out his hand and a keyblade appeared. It was black and red and shaped after the Heartless insignia. "Who's going to save you now that your precious king isn't here?" He rushed Trinity and slashed at her. Trinity dodged the blow and counterattacked only to be parried, but she leapt back and hurled a fireball at Aruu.

"Is that all you've got?!" he exclaimed madly as he lowered his free hand and brought it up quickly. Several blocks of ice tainted with purple and black hues rose from the ground, blocking the fireball. "I do hope this doesn't turn out to be a bore."

With fans outstretched, Kazega took her battle stance. It was obvious that these enemies would not simply leave them alone so she would have to aid her allies in ridding the obstacle from their path.

Clara starts in J9!

Clara watched the man and she found herself moving close. Her hands clenched, and one or two veins became prominent. Her Organ appeared in the background, but she didn't run to it, not yet.

"Who are you to speak! You side with the Heartless! If anything your the weak one!"

With that she moved to her organ, her anger fueling her as she warmed up.

Chris starts at J5!

"And yet more more Heartless seem to follow us..."

With that she got into position quietly. The Energies around her started to gather at her will. Whoever this guy was, he was messing with the wrong group. She was ready to teach him a lesson.

"Ah, go suck a dick," Ryas spat, narrowing her eyes. "I don't care who you are and what the fuck you want but you can go to hell." She looked ready to strangle something.

"You," Tenkai began softly, eye only on the boy. Suddenly, something in her eye began to gleam and she flexed her claws. "Are strong." She smirked. "Let's have a good fight." Ryas shot her a look but said nothing, a blank look suddenly on her normally expressive face.

Trinity wanted to dash off and get right to the other boy who had a keyblade. It seems more and more keyblade wielders keep showing up, but I wish this one hadn't, she thought. Trinity knew that Aruu's Heartless minions should be dealt with first. So, she decided to execute one of her new moves. With great effort, Trinity hurled the keyblade at the head Heartless watching as it hit its mark. She caught the keyblade only to hurl it again. And again. And again.

Trinity uses Strike Raid on Klera! 4 hits! 13 Dmg per hit! (ATK)

MP: 16/30

Trinity waits.

Kazega began to hover in the air where she swiped one fan in one direction and her other fan in the opposite direction. She landed on her feet as a calming breeze began to sweep throughout the area. It was cool and crisp, but not too cold. It was...perfect.

Kazega uses Relaxing Breeze on All Enemies! 10 Wind Dmg with a chance of DEF reduction! (INT)

Without her usual words, Ryas moved over to the side, in front of Tenkai. The Dark Assassin blinked once as her vision was blocked.

[Ryas] moves to [H-7].

She then made a motion with her hand. Her eyes were narrowed behind her glasses, as if concentrating. A small ball of water formed above the Shadow before it suddenly dropped, hitting the creature on its head.

[Ryas] casts Water on [Laciae]! [60%] Water INT DMG and a chance of Wet.

Tenkai stared at the Witch for a moment, as if trying to figure out why she was so silent. She then turned her gaze away to look back at the boy. Her pupil slit and she moved forward, past Ryas. The Witch made no move to stop her.

[Tenkai uses Strike on [Laciae]! [120%] ATK DMG and Added Effect: Burn.

Chris knew that these heartless had to be more powerful than those the giant heartless had summoned. These things had to be dealt with before they got out of hand. She moved next to Trinity and readied for her first attack.

Chris moves to I4!

Then focusing on the energies she had summoned in the begining, she stuck. A rather large burst of Psychic Energy was sent straight towards th nearest heartless.

Chris casts Telekinesis on Klera!

Clara decided she should get his shadows to turn on him. True it could fail, but she needed to get him to die before he had a chance to hurt her friends. She began to play the notes in rapid succession, the effects lingering towards the enemies.

Aruu spat. "I don't need to be told that I'm strong by some bitch," he said with an irritated tone. "And if you want to defeat me, I suggest actually dealing damage," he added as he felt the breeze washing over him and the tune reaching his ears.

"Somehow, I expected this," Ryas muttered to herself. This was probably one of the worst case scenarios. She raised a hand, gritting her teeth. She refused to let Tenkai fall. Not now. Not ever.

Chris watched carefully before making her move. She was afraid to make the wrong move but in the end decided any damaging move would be fine. She pulled out another Bomb Core Shell from her bag and filled it with Psychic Energy. She flung it at the nearest Heartless.

Clara noticed her Song didn't have much of an effect. She played a rather new song, playing it in a somewhat sad way. The notes flew over to each enemy, the effects soon becoming known. As she came to an end, she hoped for the best.

They could barely handle his Shadow Heartless minions. Luckily, the Shadow Heartless were wearing thin so they could focus on Aruu.

Chris couldn't deal with this anymore, this guy was just as crazy as the thief was. She focused her energy, soon the energies around them were visible. She kept focusing, her body raising into the air. She looked down at the twisted keyblade wielder. Suddenly all the energy was sent flying towards him, sticking him like thousands of weapons. She was able to notice a few of the weapons sticking one of the heartless. Chris fell to the ground, knowing she had dealt some damage to this creep.

Chris activates her D-Ability, Psychic Burst!

Clara was stunned by the appearance of the aura. She shook off her amazement when Ryas joined her.

The evil keyblade wielder recoiled at the barrage of attacks he received, but managed to catch his balance. "You guys are really pushing it," he snarled. He then turned his sights on the person who damaged him the most: Trinity. "So you're the biggest threat, eh?" he questioned, an angry glare in his crimson eyes. "Then I'll happily take you out!" With weapon outstretched, Aruu lunged into Trinity causing her to yell out in pain. But the attack didn't there. From a completely different and unexpected direction, Aruu lunged into her again. Again. Again. And again. "Sonic Destruction!!" With that, a burst of mana blasted Trinity to the ground. "This is the end for you."

Aruu uses Sonic Destruction on Trinity! 5 hits! 29 Dark Dmg per hit!

After the burst of energy knocked her to the ground, Trinity found herself unable to get up. She found herself unable to do anything, really. Her eyes rolled to her side to see her keyblade, but in a flash of light, it disappeared. She blinked.

And she didn't open her eyes again.

Kazega fell to her knees with fans at her sides as she gazed at Trinity's body on the ground. It was bruised and burned and her blood tainted the grass. The girl's eyes were wide open and eventually anger replaced the despair. She stood back up.

Kazega moves to H3.

"Suffer." She disappeared only to reappear above Aruu. She slashed him as hard as she could across the face and disappeared again. Every few seconds, she would flash into existence again only to deliver another slash. She traveled so fast that it looked like Aruu was being ripped apart by a fierce wind. When Kazega landed in her original position, she snapped her fingers causing a small tornado to form around the evil keyblade wielder and rip him apart even more.

Kazega uses D-Ability Dancing Tempest on Aruu! 18 Piercing Wind Dmg!

"Ugh," Ryas, smacked a hand over her face, not even caring that her glasses got in the way, thereby hurting herself. "When the hell are you going to wake up, Tenkai. . .?!" She still couldn't believe the Dark Assassin had actually fallen asleep. And she had been the one all excited too.

Raising a finger to the sky, something seemed to spark as a thundercloud appeared above the nearest mouse. "Just . . . keep working on those status effects. They'll work sooner or later. And seriously, we need them."

[Ryas] casts Thunder on Laciae! [50%] Lightning INT DMG and chance of Paralyze.

Clara's eyes surged with anger, veins through her arms became extremely prominent. She wanted to kill this guy no matter what happened. She slammed down on the notes of her Organ. The sound that came forth could be described as screams of spirits in hell.
