Chris' S-Ability, Psychic Celerity activates!
Chris gains Haste Status!
In a flash of light, Chris began to levitate, energy dancing around her wildly. This power she held was amazing, with this she could easily burn one of the damn zombies. Rushing next to one, she grabbed a nearby oil drum and drenched it, laughing evilly.
Chris uses Trigger Command: Drench the Damn Thing! on Rellus!
With that done, the telekinetic blasted past the zombie, landing right in between two torches. She pointed back and forth between the two, an smile of malicious intent spreading. Finally she just grabbed one and stabbed the zombie with the flame, her laugh almost becoming a cackle.
"Burn for me!"
Chris moves to A5!
Chris uses Trigger Command: Torch its Ass! on Rellus!
Clara attacks the Enemy Party Twice![
(Damage: 100% Int x 2/Effect: --/Element: --)
Well this was shocking. It seemed the group really didn't have Chris all figured out. She was having quite a bit of fun torching the zombies that had dwindled down to two. Looking down at her organ, she slammed on the keys, the sound causing the flames of the torches to jump. She too was starting to get a kick out of this.

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
Seeing the drenched zombie, Tenkai made her way swiftly over to the nearest torch to the undead. It was unfortunate that the gun still wasn't ready for us. But, that didn't matter. She could always use it on the other zombie that was left.
[Tenkai] moves to [B-4].
Quickly, she took the torch from its resting place and almost carelessly threw it onto the oiled creature. It released a rather high-pitched shriek as it was set on fire and she hummed, not seeming to care about what she had just done. The poison in her bloodstream was beginning to drain her but Tenkai couldn't bring herself to care. It was just a slight itch.
[Tenkai] activates Trigger Command: Torch Its Ass on [Relius]. 20 Piercing Fire DMG.
Ryas crossed her arms, tapping her foot in both impatience and irritation. She always hated it when her spells were sealed. It was a pain in the ass when she couldn't burn something. Well, either way, the battle was almost over. Just one more zombie left, it seemed. She walked over to the spot Tenkai had just been standing on. She hated standing still.
[Ryas] moves to [D-6].

Clara attacks the Enemy Party twice!
(Damage: 100% Int x 2/Effect: --/Element: --)
Clara slammed on her keys, the last zombie was going down, all she needed was a little help from Chris. The pianist knew the telekinetic would happily help her destroy the damn thing. Slamming on the keys once more, she watched as it came closer and closer to death waiting for the final blow.
"Chris now!"
"Bye..."
Chris blasted past Tenkai, creating a single ball of energy in her hands and throwing it at the zombie. She watched as the ball of energy hit the undead thing and it slowly began to crumble. Soon it was dust, and they were able to leave. Covering herself in an energy, her bruises healed and she stopped floating, coming back to the ground.
"Let's go..."

Trinity rushed over to Kazega and helped her up, even going as far as to brush her off. As soon as Kazega could stand on her own, she sighed. "After this experience, I'd much rather fight the Heartless than the undead," she muttered solemnly. Her eyes scanned the room they were in, looking for a way out that didn't involve the way they came. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any exit to the place. She truly hoped that they weren't going to be stuck down here forever.
"Use the keyblade, Trinity," Kazega spoke up and pointed at the ceiling. "It has the power to open new pathways. Try it." Her voice was rather weak. There was blood and dirt on the beautiful kimono the king gave her. She felt quite sad about that.
In the meantime, Trinity conjured one keyblade and pointed it at the ceiling. A light appeared at the tip causing Trinity to gasp. Suddenly, a wind burst through the air as the light grew stronger. Suddenly, a beam shot out of the keyblade and crashed into the ceiling. There was a bright flash, and when the light cleared, a spiral staircase of stone was visible that would surely lead to the main tunnel above.

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
"Let's hope we never have to do this. Ever, Again," Ryas spat, crossing her arms and glaring at the charred corpses. Most of them were, anyway. Not that she gave a flying fuck, anyway. "At least that thing's useful."
"Hm?" Tenkai made a noise of acknowledgment, not really listening. She was too busy picking up the rifle she had used once and was now examining more thoroughly. She glanced up once before looking back at the rifle. "Yes, I suppose it is." Ryas frowned, not understanding her distraction until her eyes landed on the weapon in the assassin's hands.
"Oh hell no," the witch hissed, baring her teeth. "It's enough you have fucking claws, no need to add bullets to the equation."
"It'll come in handy," was all Tenkai said and she hung it at her side, a string of darkness tying around the weapon. The assassin smirked behind her mask, amused by the witch's reaction. "Don't worry. It's not like I'll use it on you."
"Let's hope not," Ryas grumbled, sending the woman one last suspicious glare before stomping over to the newly formed stairs. She snapped around. "Well? Let's get the hell out of here." She turned back around, grumbling under her breath. "Fucking dank and gloomy ass cave. I swear, I'm going to blow this place up, first chance I get." She still wasn't too happy about having her magic sealed. It still was too, until she left the damn place.

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
"Let's get out of here..."
Chris didn't say anything more. She had been happy to burn the undead, but now there was nothing left to do here. And besides it was blocking her mana from flowing perfectly. Walking towards the stairs she began to ascend, not looking back for even a second.
"I agree. I've had quite enough of this depressing room..."
Clara stood off to the side, her organ no where in sight. She didn't seem too happy, almost expressionless. It was like her energy had been drained, and all that remained was a lifeless shell. She walked towards the stairs quietly, and didn't say anymore. It seemed she was following Chris' behavior.

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
Now free to leave, the party did so. The group ascended the staircase only to find themselves pleasantly close to the exit. The light of the rising morning sun slightly filtered into the passageway's exit from afar, but it was close enough to see. Of course, not sooner than they started taking their first steps did the earth start to rumble. Suddenly blocking their view of the exit was a large monster, its body long like a worm, but completely made out of bone. A skeletal tongue slithered out of its mouth and ran across the place where lips would be on a living creature.
"This is the thing that must be causing the tremors," Trinity growled as she summoned her keyblades. "It's probably the thing that caused us to get separated for that matter." By the looks of the creature, it wasn't planning on letting them escape. They needed to take it out anyway to help get the passageway's ecosystem back to the way it should be.

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
"Oh, now this is just bullshit," Ryas spat, glaring fiercely at the creature. "It's always like this. We get close to the goddamn exit and BAM. Something randomly decides to show up and block our path. Every fucking shitty time. I'm sick and tired of this cave! This thing is going to burn." The witch looked ready to actually spit fire. Tenkai found it to be an amusing look.
[Ryas] starts at [K-3].
"Do mind your blood pressure," Tenkai hummed, walking past the woman toward the front. "We wouldn't want you to start having a nosebleed, now would we." Ryas froze at this before closing her eyes and taking a deep, deep breath.
[Tenkai] starts at [J-4].
"Breathe in the good air, breathe out the bad," Ryas whispered to herself, exhaling slowly. Tenkai smirked. Sensing the action, the witch snapped open her eyes and glared. "Oh, shut up."
"It's nice to see you taking someone's advice, for once," was all the assassin said. Ryas made a odd strangled noise, hands twitching violently as if she wanted to grab the silvered haired woman and strangle her. "Blood pressure, Ryas. Blood pressure."
Ryas threw her arms up in the air in defeat. She would just focus her rage on the damn worm thing.

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
Chris starts at K4!
The energies of the world returned to her side as soon as she was out of the prior area. It was nice to be able to feel the flow of the world return to her, and it was nicer to see the daylight. However the image was ruined the second the creature showed up. Whatever it was, Trinity had explained what she was thinking. It had to be the thing causing the tremors.
"Let's see how well you handle pain..."
Clara starts at L1
Clara backed away from the others the instant the creature showed up. It looked dangerous, and frankly she didn't want to take damage. She wasn't used to being hurt, and especially didn't like it when the chance that she was happened. Her organ appearing she sat to play and began warming up, scales going up and down the keys.

Fearlessly, Trinity rushed up to the giant skeletal worm and trained her keyblade on it. This thing had caused them enough trouble as it was. It was about time for it to meet its end. Not being close enough for a good melee attack, Trinity called upon mana to form a sphere of ice above the creature only to have it crash down into its head.

Chris uses Telekinesis on Ariskol

Chris burst forth and instantly created a wave of energy that instantly flew at the foe. It covered its "head?" and assaulted its mind, however small or large it might have been. She knew the damage wouldn't be great, but it might just work out for her in the end.
Clara casts Sorcerer's Anthem on the Ally Party!
(Damage: --/Effect: Int x 1.5/Spr x 1.5/Element: --)
Clara started to play instantly, her fingers gliding across the keys. The tone set the cave in an eerie aura, the notes fluttering around. Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
[Ryas] moves to [H-3].
"I can't wait until I get back my powers," Ryas spat, having to move forward in order to get into range of the creature. "Then I wouldn't even have to move." There was only one of her current spells that could hit the damn thing and it was fucking weak too.
"Exercise would do you some good, Ryas," Tenkai commented, fingers weaving an almost invisible string of webs. "We wouldn't want you turning fat from lack of exercise, now would we? It would be a rather frightening sight." Ryas turned red in the face and she snapped her head to glare at the assassin.
"Oh, shut it!"
[Ryas] casts Water on [Ariskol]. 13 Water INT DMG. Chance of Wet.

"Well, that was quite weak," Tenkai commented as she leisurely walked past the witch in order to close in on the worm. "Whatever happened to your arsenal of spells? I expected more from you, dear Witch." Ryas growled, hands clenching into fists.
[Tenkai] moves to [E-4].
"Let's see you do better then," the witch ground out, not thinking. Tenkai smirked. It was only when the assassin slammed her hand against the ground that Ryas realized her mistake. She groaned. The damn woman would never leave her alone about this now. She would forever lord it over her. "Fucking shit!"
[Tenkai] uses Target Field. [Ariskol] is affected. 32 ATK DMG. 15 hits.

Kazega lowered her fans and walked over to where the mighty bone worm had fallen. Trinity did the same, her keyblades disappearing in twin flashes of light. "That was rather...anti-climatic," she said quietly, as if she were afraid to disturb the silence that had befallen the passageway so suddenly. There was a bright flash of light that enveloped the bone worm, and Trinity watched as the light formed a sphere that grew smaller and smaller. She held out her hands until the sphere finally landed in them. A smile crept onto her face as the light dissipated to reveal a small keychain, one composed of three slightly curved bones connected at one end and then fanned out.
Tapping on Trinity's shoulder, Kazega pointed to the exit. "We're close. We should probably get a move on. We'll reach Benevolentia soon." She strode gracefully to the exit, ready to take in the view of the sunrise.

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
"Anti-climatic my ass, that was just plain pathetic," Ryas stated, wrinkling her nose. She had expected something more like a monster than this thing. "Not that I'm complaining, of course. Bring on the little ones."
"I do believe it's too late for that, Ryas," Tenkai interrupted dryly. "You have most effectively jinxed us. If the next thing we meet is a monster, we'll be sure to blame it on you." The assassin smirked. Ryas mentally groaned, smacking her face with her palm. She needed to know when to shut her big mouth. Seriously.

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
"Let us just continue then, no point on dwelling on what is to come..."
Clara had walked over to the others, her organ disappearing in a flash of light and sparkles. She liked that the battle had been easy, it was really rather enjoyable compared to the problems the previous monsters had given them. But with their luck and Ryas' jinx, they would run into trouble. Coming to a stop, she looked to the others, waiting for them to give the signal to go.
Chris remained silent, utterly disappointed that the enemy was so easy. Sure it made the journey easier, but she wanted a challenge. However were they to get better if they couldn't put themselves to a true test. When the thought of stronger enemies came up, Chris spoke quickly to the aggravated witch.
"It wouldn't be a journey without hardships... And how are we to ever become more powerful without monsters like that."
And she went back to silence.

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
Trinity pointed to the cave exit. "Whatever, let's get a move on," she said, feeling a bit impatient. And she was. She wanted to get to Benevolentia as soon as possible. The group needed to meet King Mickey's allies so they could get on with whatever they had to do. Taking a few steps out, she paused and looked down. The exit to this side of the passageway led right to a cliff. She could make out a dirt path etched along the cliff face. It was dangerous for travellers; she wondered if they had missed any warning signs back in the cave. They probably had.
With moving forward as their prime objective, the group proceeded to walk down that dirt path until they found themselves alongside a river. Trinity knew that following the river would lead them straight to Benevolentia. As they walked, the sun inched ever higher above the horizon, lighting up in the distance what appeared to be a small town. It was much smaller than Altinor, filled with cozy little brick homes and wooden cottages out of which people ran their shops. At the entrance, a couple of drowzy guards bid them hello as they entered.
The dirt streets were empty. Only a few early risers paced around town, just for exercise or some peace and quiet, not that they couldn't have gotten any in their home. The whole town seemed set on maintaining a tranquility unbeknownst to most people. Trinity summoned one of her keyblades; she was positive that King Mickey's allies would be able to recognize it. As they entered the town square and looked around, the group had to have been disappointed. Just a single man setting up his fruit cart in one corner happened to be all the life in the square at this time of the morning.
Trinity sighed. "What do we do now?"
* * *
Meanwhile....
Trudging through a dark alley, Donald, King Mickey's court magician, made his way back to the main street after recovering Goofy's accessory from the grubby paws of a mischievous raccoon. He was not pleased at his partner's carelessness, but that was Goofy for you. However he made it to be the Captain of the Royal Knights, he'd never know.
Donald found his friend standing near the entrance of the alleyway, his attention completely focused on the town square which rested very close by, right down the road. "Here," Donald quacked as he held out a feathered hand to reveal Goofy's accessory. "And don't go losin' it again, you hear?" the duck huffed.
"Gawrsh, Donald. I think it's awful nice o' ya to go an' get my accessory back," Goofy replied with a comic chuckle and humorous grin. "Hey Donald. We were 'upposed to keep an eye out fer 'nother one o' those keyblade wielders, right?"
Donald rubbed his neck and glanced off into the distance towards the town square. "That's right. The King told us to set them up and on their way off to Radiant Garden. I wonder if they'll be all right usin' the gummi ship...." his voice trailed off nervously.
"Ya mean 'cause we gone and cras--" Goofy tried to say aloud innocently only to have Donald slam a hand over his mouth.
"Waaaahhhhh! Don't go saying things like that!" Donald exclaimed, looking around suspiciously. "That's in the past now. We just gotta find that keyblade wielder."
"Did I already mention that some girl an' 'er friends went off to that there town square? That girl 'ad a keyblade, a-hyuck," Goofy relayed what he saw, still grinning.
Donald felt like slapping himself in the face.

* * *

"I, for one, want to sleep," Ryas declared, crossing her arms. "We've been walking for how long now? Been knocked unconscious, how many times? Have we even slept a wink since this damn journey started?" She was obviously cranky.
"No one wishes to hear your complaints, Ryas," Tenkai drawled, also crossing her arms. "But, if it'll make you happy, you can sleep right here. Don't worry, we'll make sure nothing wakes you." Ryas gave the woman a look of disgust.
"You mean kill me in my sleep," she spat, glaring. "Like hell I'm sleeping with you anywhere near me. I know you'll be trying to slit my throat, first chance you get." Tenkai smirked behind her mask and said nothing. "Alright, how about this. We either wait here for a while longer OR we can explore the place. One or the other."

"I'm sure the king's friends are like him... maybe more mice? Or possibly something close..."
Clara was pacing, looking around constantly trying to spot anyone that could be like the king. For some reason she felt like she could tell something was wrong. Like something or someone was keeping them from meeting. Of course she wouldn't tell the others, but she had the nagging feeling.
Chris didn't pay mind to the others, she really didn't care if they wanted to sleep or something. They could sleep once they had completed once they met the people they were to look out for. Turning from them, she tried to spot anyone unusual.

"Sleep will have to wait for now," Trinity said sadly, wishing she could just crawl into bed somewhere herself. "Clara's probably right. If they're not from this world, they're bound to stick out. Guess we can just split up and co--"
"WAAAAAAIIIIIIITTTT!!!!" a voice exclaimed from not too far away. Trinity turned to see who had called after them only to see quite a pair rushing up the lane to meet them. One was a duck and the other was....something resembling a dog or something of that sort. Either way, if anyone could fit the bill of who the King's friends might be, it was definitely these two.
The duck walked right up to Trinity and took the hand she was holding her keyblade in. He raised it up so he could get a better look at the weapon, examining it from all angles. "It's legit," he said, satisfied, before letting go of Trinity's hand and looking up at her. "The name's Donald, magician of King Mickey's court," he introduced himself in his quacking voice and bowed before the keyblade wielder.
The other being stepped forward and gave the group a big ol' salute. "Gawrsh, it'd be awful rude o' me not tah introduce myself. The name's Goofy an' I'm the cap'n o' the Royal Knights back at Disney Castle, a-hyuck," he said with a fierce determination in his eyes that really offset his toothy grin. Goofy was certainly a name for this fellow.
Trinity had to hold back a laugh. "A pleasure to meet you two at last," she said and smiled. "I apologize if we kept you waiting at all."

Clara stopped pacing the second they came upon the friends of the king came up to them. The first, the duck named Donald, seemed to be quite the person. Something told her he had some sort of quirk, but he made up for it, not that she cared. The other, Goofy, was quite strange. Though when it came to them, strange was a normality. But it didn't matter whatsoever. They were here to help and that was what mattered, personality wasn't a key factor here.
Chris didn't say anything. She hardly turned, much less moved her lips. A blink of her visible eye, and she turned back. They had time for introductions later, now would be the best time to leave. But if they chose to stay and talk for a bit, so be it. She didn't really have much power here, so what she wanted would have to wait.

"Fucking talking animals," Ryas grumbled, looking off to the side with a disgruntled look. "They're everywhere, I swear." Sighing in frustration, she uncrossed her arms in favor of placing one hand on her hip and letting the other hang at her side. "And? What's supposed to happen now?"
"Do be patient, Ryas," Tenkai said dryly, placing a clawed hand on the witch's shoulder. Ryas immediately pushed it off and moved out of the assassin's range. Tenkai laughed rather darkly, amused. Lack of sleep had made the woman paranoid. "How cute." The witch nearly gagged, feeling a cold chill run down her spine at the almost predatory tone in the other's voice.
"Look, let's just hurry it up and get this over with," Ryas said hurriedly, looking frazzled. "Ryas Noa, Tenkai, Trinity, Kazega, Clara and Chris. There, you know everyone know." She quickly introduced, pointing at them all in turn. "Now, let's get to an inn or something to talk. I'm starting to get the creeps." Tenkai raised an eyebrow. Ryas glared.

Goofy laughed. "Well, it's nice tah meet ya all," he said happily, blissfully unaware of how tired the party was.
Donald shook his head. "Come on. We've been stayin' at an inn nearby," he spoke up and pointed to a fairly large building on a street leading away from the square. He waddled his way over towards it with Goofy and the party in tow.
Inside, the group settled down on some sofas and chairs situated around a lit fireplace in the lobby of the inn. The owner decided to treat them all to a round of hot chocolate. Trinity held her mug and blew on it before taking a sip, delighted to have the warm liquid settle into her stomach. "So, where should we start?"
"How about where we go from here," Kazega spoke up. She had declined the beverage, so her hands were free to fiddle with one of her fans. "We have shown that we indeed plan on fighting the Heartless, but what does this mean?"
Donald spoke up. "It means you'll have to go to another world," he said, aiming to clear things up for the group. "The king told us specifically to send you to Radiant Garden, a world that has been a keystone in this war against the Heartless. Uuuuugghhh....," he closed his eyes and shivered, remembering a time when the Radiant Garden wasn't so...radiant.
"Yup. We have lots o' friends over in Radiant Harden--"
"GARDEN!" Donald corrected his hopeless friend.
"Aw, shucks. Sorry Donald," Goofy said and scratched his head. "We were told ta send you guys off to Radiant Garden so ya could meet 'em all."

Re: Tales of Alidaire: Heart of the World
Clara had taken the cup with a smile and didn't quite drink it so much as she did take small sips that barely registered for a teaspoon. She listened carefully to what each side had to say, be it Trinity and Kazega or the King's friends. The name of the place they were supposed to go seemed familiar. Like she had been there before, but that wasn't possible. It was another world she had no way of going from there to here.
"Should we head off? I mean if we need to be there, shouldn't we leave right away?"
"As much as I would love to agree. We have been traveling for a long time. A day of rest isn't too much to ask for."
It would be the last thing she would say for now. Chris didn't take the cup, nor did she sit facing the king's men. She focused on her allies, her face expressionless. She wanted to leave, but the others would want to stay and rest, she knew that for sure. And she would just have to follow their decision.

"Sounds. . . . pretty," Ryas mumbled, shuddering as she said the word. She quickly grabbed at the cup of hot chocolate, stared at it, frowned and then passed it to Tenkai. She wanted tea, damn it. Tenkai raised an eyebrow, now having two cups in front of her. It wasn't as if she was going to drink them.
"It sounds like a delightful place," the assassin said smoothly, eye glinting. "We would love to be able to see it." Ryas grumbled something under her breath, slumped over the table. Tenkai paid her no mind, already having a vague idea of what she was saying. "However, the journey has been quite tiring. Might we rest before moving on? I really do not wish to be a victim of Ryas' paranoia."
Ryas twitched at her name and Tenkai smirked. The witch glared viciously at the silver haired woman.
"It was one fucking time!" she hissed darkly.
"No, it's more like you couldn't remember all the other times," Tenkai commented nonchalantly, pretending to check her claws. "The image of that burning village with you laughing like a maniac shall forever be branded into my mind."
"That didn't happen!" Ryas quickly said to her companions before glaring at Tenkai again. "You, just shut it!"
"Whatever you say," Tenkai hummed, amused. ". . . . . . Witch."
Ryas made a rather alien sort of noise.
