This thing was tough. Rosetta frowned at her rapier, noticing a scratch on the blade. She has just gotten it too. Not to mention her attack hadn't worked. Well, she didn't have much choice other than to try again.

Lily shook her head, her body shivered violently. She finally felt good enough to move, but she decided that she didn't want, or need to. Closing her eyes, Lily began to focus her mana to her eyes. Opening them once more, it was as if she were looking through a scope to a sniper rifle. Her new bow felt light as a feather to her now, and pulling the string became a worry of the past. Lily felt like she could hit anything.

[Lily] activates the A-Ability [Lock-On]! Range has become infinite for 3 turns. Point Blank has reached the maximum power boost.

It seemed as if the others had things under control. He moved on back to where two more treasure chests were and endeavored to open the one closest to him. After all, not all of these chests could be mimics....could they?

Sonia watched as Ifrit dealt damage fairly to one enemy, but not the other. It was clearly not the answer, and things might not work out if she were to waste her Mana. Valefor may be of some help, at least then they'd have an extra fighter. She raised her staff once again, the jewel tip had returned to normal, but would not stay.

"From the Earth to the Winds, May I command the Gales. Valefor I require aid!"

The Jewel tip's usual green became deep and a veil of magic built around it. The heat from before vanished as soon as it had begun. A sharp cry was heard from the air as the tip glew. She threw her staff into the air and a sudden blur caught it. For seconds it seemed to disappear before it was back in Sonia's hands. A large Bird-like Dragon landed next to Sonia, a certain magical energy to it.

Dashing forward, Zero's amulet glowed again. The entire area became pitch black and in mere seconds, sounds of cracking wood could be heard. When the darkness lifted, the mimic was almost a pile of scrapwood, barely holding together.

Lily focused her new and improved eyesight on Surprise, the Mimic chest that had attacked them. She lifted her bow into the air and took careful aim, a grin playing across her lips. "You're mine." She whispered, then fired the arrow.

Barely even feeling the hit, Rosetta shook off the remaining cinders the attack had left behind and look back to see how the others were doing. Seems they had already taken care of the other one and the ghost had opened a chest that wasn't trapped.

Rosetta turned back to the Mimic in front of her, leveling her rapier once more. Just because it was already poisoned, didn't mean she couldn't deal a more deadly poison to it.

Sonia watched as the others made their moves. She was unsure of how to act, or if she should act. She had called upon an Ally to fight, so why do anything at the moment. She lowered her staff, brushed her hand across Valefor's wing and stood in her place.

The mimic wobbled over to where Rosetta was and began shaking violently. The lid closed and it retracted back into itself. There was no clue as to what it was doing. However, after a few moments of silence from the beast, the lid opened swiftly and a horrific sight stood before Rosetta. It was the mimic's true form. It's piercing crimson eyes stood out in the midst of its black, gelatinous body. Long, sharp claws hung down by its side and a creepy grin revealing terrifying fangs graced its face. Just the sight was enough to send myriad shivers down Rosetta's spine causing internal damamge. After the damamge had been done, the mimic returned to its original form.

The want for blood wore off and Almair noticed how close he was to a chest. When he saw the chest attack rosetta, he took a dive for the chest near him.

Sonia watched as her winged friend moved from her side and went off to fight with the others. She couldn't help but feel as if something wasn't right. Like she was in trouble even though she wasn't near any enemy. She moved quickly and stood still.

The Dragon like creature moved from it's position and flew closer to a chest. Eyeing it as if it were a trap like the other chests had been.

That had hurt a bit. She used a hand to gently touch her back. Whatever it had done, it had forced her to feel fear. Rosetta turned her attention back to the Mimic, leveling her rapier.

Valincar raised his hand and spheres of darkness mana swarmed against the pathetic mimic rendering it obsolete. It was kind of depressing at how weak these monsters were. "Let's get the rest of these chests opened so we can get out of here," he said with a yawn. Maybe one of the next requests will be a bit more....entertaining.
