Bleeding and barely able to fight back, Autumn scowled. Her disability finally lifted. And boy was she in the mood for revenge. Painful, shocking revenge. She raised her hands to the sky. The air immediate got dry. Wind rushed in towards her and upwards to the sky. A mass of clouds formed, swirling as it expanded outward. It grew to engulf the entire field before arcs of lightning started dancing across it's base. Four thick bolts lanced out and stuck her foes with pure energy. She smiled.

The shock passed right through her, but it stayed with everyone else. Verity's sullen azure eyes turned sharp. Her fingers tightened into fists, a glare for the sprite setting in. Her snowflake stopped in place, vibrating in a eerie way. Her lips were pursed into an extremely thin line, her anger growing.

"Glacia blesses those who find allies in her followers. Those who oppose her followers are soon condemned to death. So is the order of the goddess, so shall I leave here today. Your corpse left behind in a wintery grave."

Her arms crossed her body once more, only to have them fly forward, a giant gale of ice and snow and hail rained down on the battlefield. Pillars of ice rose up around the lone girl and he allies who remained unaffected by it all. Holding a single hand out in front of her, she twisted it around before making a fist, the entire storm and everything that had come from it colliding into a dome that enveloped the Autumn Sprite. Verity's fist smashed down in the air, changing into a flat palm, the orb exploding.

The explosion went by, the effects of it not felt by the party or the world, just the girl who had dared to fight them. Turning to her allies, she nodded slowly, stumbling over to them.

Verity activates D-Ability, Glacia's Vengeance, on the Enemy Party!

Sunny took up her roots, beginning to walk close to the four seasons, her feet moving silently through the grass beneath them. She walked up next to Thanatos. Sunny wanted to keep an eye on the swordsman, but she eventually decided to go towards the girl representing Spring. Sunny knelt down in the grass, placing a hand on the girl, wondering if she was still alive.

Thanatos stretched and sheated his sword in an instant. It certainly felt good to do so. Never would he leave home without it again. The battle had scattered his thoughts. The girls were testing them right? He paushed and ran a hand through his hair before looking around. The gates were definitely still shut at the moment. So what now?

The old man shuffled out of the trees he was hiding in. He was rubbing his posterior victoriously, tossing a pine cone over his shoulder. "Blasted trees," he muttered. "A roddy blight they be." As he approached, the season girls glared at group and vanished into a wind.

"I see thas chou managed to take down dem sisters. Chou can take manage yourself, you can." He jabbed at Thanatos' thigh. He didn't quite reach high enough to jab at the gut. "Put if chou think tey's the worse, you still got a nae ting coming. The man who hol's the gate key is still lurking 'round de place."

"That would be me," a relaxed voice said. He sat lounging on the font steps to the mansion, Garbed in a black hoodie that hid his face, an air of mystery and power was around him. The bones sewn into both the hoodie and the gauntlets that guarded his hands only helped that matter. The chain of bones onver his chest was leaning towards overkill.

Shekal swung his mallet around his hand once and looked at the man who had suddenly looked up. "Well, you look fun to beat up and steal the key from." Shekal put his mallet on his belt looping the string around his belt. Opening the book he felt his quill appear in his hand and he asked innocently, "What would your name be per chance?" The quill was touching the paper but no ink emerged, not until of course, the man spoke his name OR got agressive. Feeling a second wind come over himself he noticed Autumn's name was still within the book. 'Might come in handy if we ever run into her again..' Shekal thought as he felt a nippy breeze past by him.

Thanatos turned to face the odd fellow on the porch. "And you're going to give us that key so we can get out of here," Thanatos stated, not asked, his hand moving threateningly to the hilt of his sword. He wasn't about to let some fool keep hold of the item that would get them out of the damn place. With his free hand, he rubbed the bridge of his nose; he was starting to get a headache. And he had to completely reevaluate himself. One: Why the hell did he leave his sword at home? Two: Why the hell did he follow these damn people to this accursed place? Lots of questions to answer, but his mind cleared enough to allow him to focus on the guy with the key.

Verity stood away from the others now, wishing to stick away from the situation. She didn't like the guy they had to get the key from, and she didn't like the way he was dressed. Only one who followed Reith would ever go around in those garbs. Staring at the boy carefully, her snowflake hovered around her protectively, as if waiting for battle.

Sunny had a distant look on her face as she stared off into the distance. The thought of her forest was running through her head, she couldn't keep her mind off of her plants. Were they okay without her? They usually didn't need her help this time of year, but what if something happened? They would be at the mercy of disaster without her. Sunny contemplated leaving to go check on her forest, but decided against it. If she couldn't trust her plants alone, then how would they trust her? With that, Sunny smiled and turned toward the odd man who claimed he had the key.

"You wouldn't mind handing it over, would you?" Sunny asked kindly, although her thorny vines had something different on their minds. One of the vines shot forward, attempting to snatch the key away from the man. Even though the vines didn't know where the key was, they could just keep poking holes in the man until they found it. Sunny looked rather aghast, "Oh my, I'm sorry, they have a mind of their own," Sunny covered her mouth with her hand, feigning shock. Her lips curved up into a smile, but her eyes remained unreadable.

"Give the lady a prize," he said with a smile, batting away Sunny's vines. "But seriously. Did you really think I'd make this entrance and just hand you the key? You'd have to be more daft than the old timer."

"I'mma standing right h're chou know!" the older man in question scowled. He muttered something about swollen heads under his breath and went back to the tree.

"The long and short is, you're gonna have to fight me for the key." He stood and put his hands in his pockets. "And picking on my cousins wasn't the best way to get me to hand it to you either." He paced the steps a bit as he searched his coat and pockets. "The key's somewhere here... damn it Fein. I told him all these bones was overkill." He shrugged. "I'll find it if you beat me. I think. In any case, you can call me Aar-ah... Knight. Call me Knight."

"I thought as much," Sunny sighed, lowering her arms. The vines from her body began twisting and squirming around as Sunny's main body remained motionless. Sunny looked down at her thin body, fingering one of the yellow petals covering her body. She sighed sullenly, "Dearest Kuube, you must stop worrying about me." Sunny said, looking down at the ground, which had welcomed her roots much more warmly than usual. The dirt had actually come up around her feet a little.

"Not even your name.." He sighed throwing the quill in the air it disappeared the moment he shut his book. "Well then, I suppose we will have the beat the snot out of you." He said with an air of confidence, though truly he was a tad intimidated by the suit, but realized the guy may not be what he seemed. Mumbling about not finding his key and thinking that he would find the key if they beat him. With a cringe and a facepalm he brought up his mallet and prepared for battle.

"He's tougher than he looks... be on your guard."

Verity stood opposite to Sunny, knowing she would have to keep her strength stored until she desperately needed it. And she had another trick up her sleeve, something none of her allies knew. At first they would believe her to be turning on them, but it wouldn't be as it would seem. For unknown to anyone but Glacia and herself, her ice based attacks had magical properties. When used on one who proved to mean no harm to Glacia or her followers, the attacks would instead rid them of their wounds. An ability that would definitely come in handy this battle.

Sword drawn, Thanatos said nothing more. It was obvious that they were going to have to fight for the key, which seemed a bit ridiculous, but if the fellow wanted to get roughed up, then the swordsman would gladly oblige. He did seem a bit odd. How would he fight? That would probably be Thanatos's only disadvantage. Not knowing the fighting style of the enemy means that the enemy has the upper hand. Thanatos guessed that the guy had watched the previous battle knowing that he knew all of their battling styles. This wasn't good.

Sunny's vines suddenly shot out in front of everyone, immediately wrapping around Knight, crushing his body in their powerful grip. The thorns on her vines ripped into his skin as they continued to wrap around him slowly. Sunny's face was set in a frown, she didn't like hurting people, but she did what she had to. It was the only way to get the key. Her vines soon released Knight, leaving him hurt and bleeding on the ground.

Sunny uses Thorn Wrap on Knight! 8 Piercing Atk DMG! 6 hits!

Thanatos moves to H4.

Taking a single step forward, Thanatos disappeared from sight. With three quick, disorienting movements, he slashed the man holding the key before instantly disappearing only to reappear at his original position. By the looks of things, he wasn't about to be holding that key any longer.

Shekal couldn't do zilch. His disabling wouldn't even work so instead he sighed and waited, noticing that Sunny seemed to be doing an awesome job of pinning this knight down.

They were good. Oracle had that much right about them. The next question was would they do what see wanted. That answer would have to wait. With the plant girl in the corner, he was too far to get her and prevent his loss. But that didn't mean he was going down alone. He pointed at the girl in the back, then snapped his fingers. A burst of red energy shot out of her shoulder. Another from her tight, then her back, then her chest. Finally, she was bend over backwards as a jolt of power racked her form. Out of the corner of his eyes, he noticed what he swore was a wandering jack fall out of the tree. Weird. Even for this place.

Sunny smiled, licking her lips with her green tongue. More traits about her plant-like figure were becoming more and more obvious. Her green tongue, the vines and roots from her body, the petals covering her body, and even her love for plants. Sunny's vines once again shot forward, grabbing Knight once again, ripping and tearing into his body with her thorns.

Thanatos took a quick moment to take note of his surroundings so that nothing would surprise him. That's when he noticed the bushes rustling and something coming out of them nearby. "The hell is that?" he mumbled, knowing that the man holding the key would fall soon. He left his sword out. He wanted to find out what the hell was over there, but he remained in his place should something go wrong.

After the last attack, Knights entire outfit, coat, necklace and gloves, crackled, fractured and shattered; the bones dissolving into dust and the fabric falling apart. "Now that was unexpected," Knight coughed. He pulled a vial from his pants pocket and drained the contents. Within a few seconds, the worst of his wounds were gone. He brushed the dust from his pants and stood proud. At least, as proud as a man in a blood-soaked undershirt with several holes ripped in it and equally torn and stained pants could. "Congratulations. You pass!" he said with a smile.

The old man stalked over from the trees and drew a vial, similar to the one Knight just downed and poured it into verities mouth, healing her as well. "You kids did better than I thought you would," he said grudgingly, all traces of his former accent gone. "Damn. I owe Ramos now. Never should have taken him on that bet when this buffon had the major part."

As the old one muttered, 3 scrabbled over from the trees and raced to Thanatos. It jumps and wrapped it's arms and legs around Thanatos' shin in obvious affection. Knight blinked and smiled again. "You certainly keep... interesting pets."

Thanatos's eye twitched as he realized it was one of those pumpkin-headed freaks from earlier. "The hell?! This thing is not my pet," he grumbled sternly, shaking his leg to try and get it off of him, but it held on tightly, refusing to let go. "Damn it. It's like some Halloween weirdo is grasping on to my leg." At the mention of the spooky holiday, the thing nuzzled Thanatos's leg in happiness, as if Halloween was to be its name or something.

"That wasn't supposed to make you happy," Thanatos growled, finally quitting the shaking of his leg. The thing seemed perfectly content there, so he let it be for the moment. There were more important things to attend to at the moment anyway. "Who are you?" Thanatos asked the knight. "Who are you really?" he decided to ask again, adding a 'really' and placing emphasis on it.
