The Path Less Traveled: The Cloister of Trials

Just off the continent of Replinatia, there is a small, almost inconspicuous island. Little is known about it, and even more so, few people have ever been there. However, there are those who have, and they have brought back terrifying and depressing tales of the place. A large ornate deep blue rock rose up and covers half the island, or so we're told. Just near the entrance to the island is a man made entrance to this so called "rock". It is said that those who enter will find themselves before a woman with beauty compared to that of a goddess. She will ask for their name, and hand them a list, like a menu for fighting. And from one answer will they be rushed into the next room to fight until they are permitted to leave. People who have gone through these fights remember one thing, a name... and so this place is called: The Cloister of Trials.

Alright, so this is my version of a colosseum. Fights can take place here between friends, and there will be a list of special fights. These special fights will yield great rewards such as gold, experience (sometimes), special items, and secret requests for the current roleplay (sometimes). I will also be implementing a special type of tourney which I call "Monster Infestation". In these the character will be allowed to place their character and fight till the enemies are defeated. Then another wave of enemies will begin, without a chance to heal or move. There will be no items, or any way to heal in these battles, it is all based on skill. So without further ado, here are the rules:


- The battles are first come first serve.
-- Only one battle will go on at a time, you'll have to wait to start another.
- Fighting in teams is decided by you guys. You have to talk amongst yourselves and then PM me with the teams.
-- Player vs Player battles need to be agreed upon by the players in question.
- The party will be given a set inventory, no exceptions.
- D-Abilities are disabled

Terra did little at first, nor did she introduce herself as Anna did. She merely took a couple steps forward and drew her rapier quietly. She noticed the challenger smile a little, as if she thought Terra was out of range and couldn't hit her, especially not with her weapon. But boy was she wrong, for the esper snapped with her free hand and watched as flames appeared at her feet and skidded over to the younger opponent.

The young girl smiled at the older, waving her hand excitedly. It was as if she had completely forgotten that they were battling here. It wasn't until the flames engulfed her and clung to her that she suddenly remembered what was going on.

"And since you have to be so mean to me, I'ma show you when you play with fire you get burned!"

With that, a bunch of fireworks suddenly appeared around her and she lit each and everyone of them, each one firing off and heading for not only Terra, but the Runners as well.
