Minecraft Screenshot Thread

A lot of the stuff you find is really something to admire. I'm talking about Minecraft of course (under the influence of Minecraft The Song).

Anyway, here is where I will be posting a few of the screenshots that I took in my Minecraft worlds. I'll probably post stuff from the Multiplayer too, so you guys get to see the work Durn and I are doing along with other Minecraft players.

I just discovered a cavern in my World 2 file.

It's fracking huge.

I'll have screenshots of it up eventually, after I'm done locking it down, so I won't have to worry too much about creeper attacks. =3

So I have an excessive number of screenshots that I keep forgetting to upload. I know how to take screenshots without going through the whole "copy/paste" thing with paint. That would take fracking forever.

Exactly how are you taking screenshots? I haven't figured it out yet.

I press and hold F1 and then take the screenshot with F2.

It might be different on a Mac though.

Just trying to help, but if Minecraft is anything like Grand Fantasia, all you have to do is hit the PrtSc SysRq button and it'll take a screenshot. Minecraft is an MMO right? Hm, I guess they might not all be the same, but if Zeri's method doesn't work, try this one.

The F1 F2 thing is unique to minecraft, since it stores the pictures you take in a file under the folder .minecraft.

@Cerani: If you're running Windows on a not-mac computer, click on the Start Menu bar and type in "c:/users/*yourusernamehere*/appdata/roaming/.minecraft" and it should show you the minecraft folder.

EDIT: Although you CAN use the PrtSc/SysRq button to take a screenshot. But then you have to paste it onto paint and all that other annoying stuff.

Yeah, I tried the Print Screen crap . . . doesn't really work for me. ^.^;; But thankyou! I've been wanting to show off my dinky tower for a little while now. I wanna use flames in a couple of the corners, but I figured out that I can't make flint and steel until I upgrade from Beta v1.0. Which I can't do until I get SOME FREAKING INTERNET. WRAH!

You may not be able to get the update for free, if you bought the game before Beta was released.

But if you got it from a gift code in Alpha, or you bought it in Alpha, then all of the future updates will be free as long as you have internet.

Alright well I found the pictures that I took . . . except my tower doesn't look like it did when I took the pics anymore. The wooden floors all caught on fire, and I had to redo a buncha stuff. ^.^;;;

Don't place fire in a wood house. It'll burn.

Two people hacked into the server I played on and destroyed everything I had worked on. So I got in contact with the admin and he banned the two players and reset the map to a few days back.

So all the stuff you saw in my last post?

Well...most of it is gone.

Okay guys, I didn't manage to get Photobucket to cooperate for me, so instead I decided to upload a copy of my world save file, which is by far much easier than uploading tons of screenshots.

So basically, I'm just going to post a link to a Mediafire Downloader, which has my world. Don't worry, it's free of viruses, I use Mediafire all the time. Plus, it's free.

It's pretty basic, so you should be able to understand how to get everything done. If you have any problems downloading or unzipping the file, tell me right away and I'll see what I can do.

It crashes Minecraft for me. But I probably just need to update it. XD I'll get on that today.

Yeah, my Minecraft runs the latest edition of Beta 1_2_02. You'll need that version to run my world, probably.

Ah. I need to figure out how to get that from the internet to my computer. Hmm.

[Zerifachias]

All you need to do is run Minecraft online for one session, and it should give you the updated version immediately.

Unless you bought Minecraft before Beta came out.

Then you have to pay for it, I think.

That's the thing, I can't run it online from my computer. It's not hooked up to the internet. I may have to get creative.
