Finally got around to playing Pokemon Black.

I'm at the 8th gym, and the fucking Haxorus has evaded my Will-O-Wisp 6 times in a row.

I played it while I was in Florida quite a bit, but I haven't played it since I got back until now.

Dragon types in this generation hurt. 147 base attack isn't fun to deal with. D:

My favorites are mostly poison or ice types.

Seviper and Froslass for example.

But Cradily is my favorite pokemon.

I think you might be able to get this guy.

In the route past Mistralton, you should be able to enter Twist Mountain.

The polar bear should be in there. He's pretty common during wintertime, but kind of rare in every other season.

I'm working my way towards the 8th gym with no ice or dragon types. I'm looking forward to a fun time. ^ ^;

I don't really have a type preference. My final team in Diamond was: Raichu, Lucario, Froslass, Ninetails, Latios....and something else. ; - ; It's been a long time since I've played Diamond. I can't wait 'til I can transfer my old pokemon from Diamond to Black.

...yeah...Windy used to do a bit of battling on Shoddy...and his team was full ice types...it consisted of Weavile, Glaceon, Froslass, Lapras, Abomasnow, and Mamoswine...suprisingly it works pretty damn well...ara...X3

I didn't have an ice or a dragon type with me either.

Luckily, when I tried to use Shell Smash with my Carracosta, the Haxorus used Dragon Dance instead of something super dangerous, so things worked out better than expected.

Ice-types are only useful against dragons anyway. I typically don't have any ice-types in my final team, but I do have ice-type moves.

I seem to prefer using dragon because of their power and large move pools.

Eh, I just have a thing for ice types...but they're not really just useful for dragon types, believe it or not, a full ice type team can have moves to counter every single type of pokemon...ara...^^

Ice types also tend to have terrible defensive typing, so they usually have to kill stuff extremely quickly if they want to survive.

The only exceptions to this are probably Mamoswine and Lapras, due to their defensive stats.
