Eternal Dream Murder Mystery

I left the kitchen a few hours before and was watching the beautiful sunset before I realized that night was upon me. The glorious yellows and reds that still hang in my mind barely compare to the eternal cadence that booms silently through this darkness... hmmm... not a safe place to be. I'm glad I stopped by my room to pick up my flail and short bow after the others left me in the kitchen. Strangely enough, I saw Chibimon set up a tent and then disappear. What was the point of that? Maybe he's roaming the halls. I take the few short steps back inside from the balcony I was standing on just moments before. Errr... not much to do. Maybe I can find Cerani. Roaming the halls is my only option, for I am full of rest, yes that and I am restless.

"Come out, come out where ever you are killer, FACE ME!" I said, slamming my sword agnest the ground. I started to laugh, maybe rarely sleeping was started to make me go mad a bit. "If history is to be change, let it change! If the world is destroyed, so be it! If my fate is to be destroy...I must simply laugh!!" I said, laughing some more.

A loud clang startles me and I dash to the side to hide behind a column, hard to do with a bow in your hands. I nock an arrow and peer down the hallway. I hear laughing and someone talking. It sounds familiar. I leave my hiding place to creep down the hall with my bow pointed in front of me.

The person is walking away from my direction. I try to get closer and see that it is only Chibi. Lowering the bow, I say, "What're you doing out here?"

I turn my head to look at Cerani. "Just wondering the halls, if the killer kills again, we shound be able to get him or her." Dark said.

I hear a voice up the corridor so I cautiously follow and investigate. I peer around the corner, the adrenaline making my heart beat faster and faster... oh. It's just Chibimon and Cerani. Well, good. I start to walk over to them, hoping they won't mind my company.

I see Nicola walking over to me and Cerani. "Hey...it's Nicola...right?" I asked.

"Yeah" I respond remembering my many aliases. "I couldn't help overhear the two of you talking, but are you sure we'll be able to catch the murderer just when we hear a scream? We could get to the crime scene and the person could be gone!" I nervously tap the toes of my shoes on the ground. "I don't think we can prevent anymore murders unless we stumble directly onto the killer, which isn't likely." I coolly wait for a response. I hope I haven't been too rash.

"I have been thinking about this, and I agree. I think we need more people out looking for the killer, instead of hiding."

I look around the dark hall. I don't want to stand around and talk, I want to keep moving and keep up my vigil in these halls.

"We may get the killer in the act but we shound keep moving." I said.

I sense Cerani's impatience. "We've dawdled long enough. Now, we need a plan, and we must put it into action." I hate suggesting ideas, but not producing answers. Hopefully, these two can refresh my mind with some creativity

I shrug. "I have nothing but continuing to pace the halls. The two of us, me and Dark are not enough. Like I said, we need more manpower to do this, but I'm starting to get the feeling no one really wants to do anything to save themselves. Except hiding of course. They're too scared to do anything else."

I catch myself edging couple steps down the hall and stop. But I don't stop searching for any signs of someone else in the hall.

"Well you go ahead and lead Cerani, I'll follow. You know these passageways better than I do." I close my eyes and breathe deeply as I wait for the sound of footsteps. It's going to be a long night.

I chuckle quietly to myself. "Know them, ha. I don't know them cognitively, but my feet seem to, so I just follow them."

I begin to walk down the hall, trying to keep an even pace so that Nicolas can keep up.

I watch them walk down the hall and I walked my own way down the halls, holding onto my sword.

I look around the dark hallways. over five murders over the past four days, and I walk down these dark, endless columns? I study anything that looked suspicious, but nothing looked too conspicuous. My new-ness to this place doesn't change my thought or skills, but my emotions do. The death of the creator of DHQ, one of my greatest friends, had been a horrible blow to my heart. I felt like stabbing something with the metal pole he carried. The metal pole was probably the best defense I had, after all I trained, worked, and fought with it all the time, day and night. I studied everything seriously, hopefully making a good impression. I walk forward...
*BONK*
I rub my nose in pain. I walked right into the wall! I looked around again, and realize that I can't see anything but dark. "Now -this- is a dark hallway." I muttered, making myself jump at the unexpected echo. Making a creepy noise after sitting in silence is... creepy. I search the walls to find my way around, only to trip over something.
*THUD*
*SPLASH*
I get up, feeling some cold liquid sticking to me. I finally get up, only to trip again.
*THUD*
"*beep*!!!" I exclaim, the censor beep making an echo again, which in turn made me trip again.
*EPIC THUD*
I get up one more time, deciding it might be best to try a different method of moving. I pull out a little firecracker from my pocket, slamming it on the ground. The pop lit up the whole hallway, put only lasted a second. "Well..." I said, dumbfounded. I finally pull out a little flashlight from my void [a small bag containing a magical vortex that transfers things into a secret dimension made just for that bag]. "Well, this is handy." I said, hefting the flashlight in my hand. I pull out the batteries and some kind of flint and start pounding it over the contents of the flashlight, trying to spark it in hopes of light.
((well, I hope this is a good impression ))

Tonight is to be a good night. The killer finds the killer's self in the labyrinthine hallways of the DH feeling rather bored. The killer tests a few doorknobs--all nice and locked. These must be the people who are up and about and know about the murders, the killer thinks as the killer continues the killer's stroll. In one hand the killer carries a single white scarf and in the other, an extremely sharp hunting knife of some sort--the design of the blade being unorthodox which would make it hard to identify the murder weapon.

Finally, a doorknob is not locked. The killer creeps inside and closes the door and shuts and locks it behind the killer. On the bed in this room lies Eternal Doom. The killer grins. "I hate it when people sleep their lives away," the killer grumbles. The killer leaps onto Doom's chest and instantly stuffs the scarf into his mouth to prevent any screams from escaping. To further ensure this, the killer pulls out a roll of tape from the killer's pocket and covers the victim's mouth with a piece. The killer dismounts the killer's victim and pushes him to the floor so that he lands on his stomach. With a calculated steps, the killer gets on Doom's back and raises the hunting knife. The killer's grin was at an awful maximum point. "Oh god, I hope this hurts....I'll teach you a lesson to never sleep again," the killer whispers. "I'll make it so your eyes will stay open...forever."

With those words, the killer stabs the blade into Doom's back and begins slicing in a circular motion. Tears are flowing from the victim's eyes, and he wishes that he could scream--release himself from the agony. When the killer finishes the killer's circle, the killer pulls out the chunk of flesh, just like when the killer carved RainbowVeins. With eyes that possessed an insane form of childlike innocence, the killer ganders at all of the organs inside of Doom. By now, the victim has lost consciousness. In a joyous revelation, the killer reaches in and pulls out some of Doom's intestines. The killer's hands are covered in blood as the killer brings the intestines to the killer's nose and takes a deep whiff. They're so warm....warm with life. However, the killer remembers the wrath the killer felt towards Doom and throws the intestines at the nearest wall. But the killer does not stop there. The killer proceeds to rip out more organs violently and tossing them about like confetti until the room is littered with blood and guts.

Doom's lifeless eyes remain open in complete agony, and to ensure that they stay open, the killer tapes the eyelids to the victim's forehead. "Now we'll be staying awake, won't we?" the killer says softly with a warm smile.

Leaving the room a complete mess, the killer unlocks the door, opens it, exits, shuts it, and goes on the killer's way.

The night was still young, after all.

I was walking down the halls, as a see someone walking out of a room, I looked at there hands and see them covered in blood and some sort of knife and a large out at that. "You! You're mine!" I said as I started to run down the hall as my dragon rage flows within me as my sword glow red with fire as I pull back my arm and was about to strike.

The killer is not startled, but could easily pick out the attacker's footsteps. Whoever was attacking the killer was about to make a horrible mistake. The killer gets down on the floor and slides towards the attacker with knife outstretched. With incredulous speed, the killer slices both Dark's legs and immediately rises to the killer's feet. Then, performing a graceful flip, the killer lands with the killer's hands on Dark's shoulders, the killer's body inverted and looking down at the next victim.

With great balance, the killer plunges the knife deep into Dark's throat and twists it around, blood splattering the floor and spraying out like a crimson fountain. Seeing the job as complete, the killer gets away from the attacker as quickly as possible and begins to head in another direction.

An unintentional kill, yes, but there are more to be punished.

I feel my ears perk as I hear yelling. We hadn't left Dark that long ago, so he couldn't have gone far. I grit my teeth as a horrible feeling creeps over me.

"Dammit." I mutter. "Let's go."

I walk as swiftly and as quietly as I can back the way we came. I stop at an intersection trying to decide which way to go. I decide to stick with my gut instinct and turn down one hallway and continue moving. Not long after, I see a body on the floor, a fresh blood pool flowing underneath. I pull the bow's string back, peering down the hallway as I make my way over to the body.

It is Dark. I Know I've lost it now: I'm beginning to see red. I might be furious or just plain crazy, but I think I can hear another heartbeat besides mine and Nic's. It's not Dark's, it's too late for him. I must be crazy.

I keep going down the hall. After some time, I think I can see someone pacing the halls as well. I decide to be naturally suspicious and draw my nocked arrow. i can't let loose just yet, confirmation isn't a must but I have to get closer if I want to make sure I hit this guy.

I stand up as I hear yelling. "Well, someone's going to be cranky if they wake up to that." I mutter to myself. I feel the walls to find my way around, hopefully trying to get toward whoever screamed. I turn the corner into another corridor. It was lighter than the other one, which helped out. I stumble a couple paces and smell. There was a horrid smell, like fresh blood nearby. I slowly take a couple paces forward, only to come face-to-face with a bow and arrow. I look down at my clothing. I then realized what I was covered in: blood. "Well, this is certainly awkward..." I say, putting my hands up in innocence.

As this person appears in front of me, I think I can hear myself growling. Oh yeah, I've lost it. "Tell me why I shouldn't shoot you now and get this over with. 'Cause if you're not the killer, then I'm wasting my time. If you are, you're SOL buddy."

I heard screams, laughter, and talk echoing through the corridors, but only faintly. The door made the sounds faint, the bed of sharp objects facing the door made them fainter. I wiped the sweat off of my forehead.

By now, I had armed myself with lysol grenades, I fancied them very much. So simple, yet so powerful. If the killer someone managed to come in, I'd pull a trigger, and the grenades would all systematically explode. Perhaps if I closed the gap, we would both die, and my life would not be an act of cowardice, but of sacrifice.

Of course, I do not dare look for the killer, to do so would be to look for trouble. Judging by the acoustic screams, someone had found it.

There was no time to dilly-dally, though. There was marveling to do, and an ego to feed. I stared in exaggerated awe at my machine. It was a moderate size, not too big to fit through a door way, not too small to be fragile. The cheap materials used in its making gave it its light weight. All manner of items had been used. Aluminum cans to protect the circuitry, a generator to run the makeshift motor, various kitchen knives and glass were used as blades, there were also small wheels on the bottom so I wouldn't have to carry the damned thing.

"I suppose I could use the lysol cans as fireworks...yeah, that'll work, I just need to empty them.", I opened a closet full of lysol cans I had gathered through the day, and grinned, then frowned slightly."Sorry nature, looks like you're gonna need to take one for the team...er, well, me, anyway.".

I punctured them and set them out in the bathroom to release the fumes. After opening the window, I locked the bathroom door, and waited.

Yelling. I lost Cerani just for a moment, but now I see her up ahead of me. facing me, no... coming towards me! She passes me not even noticing... and then I smell it. the stench of death. I continue to follow, dreading what my eyes may behold. Chibimon lies on the floor in a pool of blood, a knife shoved into his throat. Great... I see Cerani taking lingering steps... she must see someone else. I reach down and pick up DarkChibimon's sword. "Sorry guy, guess you won't be needing this anymore." I whisper as I strap the sheath to my own belt and insert the sword. It feels clean and cold against my thing garments.
I hear a small noise and look up. Cerani has he bow notched and ready to strike. I can't disturb her, but if she has the killer in her sights... I watch from the sidelines. Whoever that person is, they're in a bad position right now... wait... that person is completely covered in blood! I draw Dark's sword and stand by her side. "Not a safe place to be, especially in your attire." I sneer.

Free from harm and barely escaping death with quick reflexes, the killer makes the killer's way down a barren hallway, trying different doorknobs out to see if they are locked or not. At the first opportunity of an unlocked doorknob, the killer slips inside.

Playing a video game inside the room is Hak. Completely into the game, Hak doesn't even notice his door opening, shutting, and locking. "Woohoo!! Go, go, GO!" Hak screams excitedly in the heat of an intense battle, however, it is game over for him as the killer approaches from behind and covers his mouth with startling strength. The killer pulls out a spare hunting blade from the killer's back pocket and holds the blade up to the moonlight watching it gleam. The plunge comes quickly and the killer buries the entire blade into Hak's back, twisting it around as the killer does. Hak goes unconscious rather quick; he must not have been able to handle that kind of pain.

The killer laughs and withdraws the blade, only to sink it in again...and again...and again, blood flies through the air and crimson drops rain down upon the frigid, unforgiving floor. The killer hacks Hak...heh. What irony. With a wicked smile equal to that of a child reaching the cream center of a chocolate or some sort of treat, the killer finally reaches what the killer has been desiring--the magnificent entrails of the victim. This time, the killer tosses them into the air like confetti at a sinister party, the various organs cascading back down on the killer. With sickening delight, the killer grabs a handful of guts and smears them against the wall, the blood creating creative trails in a twisted painting.

Suddenly, the killer realizes that the killer's job is not finished yet. Dropping the organs the killer is holding, the killer takes the killer's blade and departs from the room now decorated in demise. Still more retribution, the killer thinks as the killer continues on the killer's way through the moonlit halls of the DH.
